Within minutes I had out the door pricing on two the two trucks I was interested in, both prices were thousands of dollars cheaper than the other Ford dealerships provided. The House of Smoke and Mirrors ! We tried to buy an RTR Mustang on 02/05/26. Nice car but for some reason, still on the lot after six months of not selling. We liked it and tried to buy it but the drivers side running board was broken and the paint protection film and window tinting had not applied. A $995.00 dealer add-on that Had to be applied to the cost of the car. After much apologizing by the salesman and others, we were told we had to purchase the car as is before the repairs and dealer add-ons would be remedied. We refused but said when all the fixes were complete in a week, we would then make the hundred mile journey again, to buy the car. They refused and we walked out. read more

This was not at all like my previous experiences at Ford of Murfreesboro. Know and understand that after you sign the paperwork, that sales person is out of your life. If you have a question after the sale, you better know how to Google it, because you will not get a good response, if any. After I bought my 2021 Ford Ranger, I promised the sales manager named Doug that I would buy here again. I am not making that promise this time. We just purchased a 2025 Ford Ranger Raptor. I know that $60k is not a big deal any more, but it was a lot for us. We also optioned for an additional $90 a month for the extended warranty and service plan. We had some items that needed to be added after the sale. We needed the bed liner sprayed in and Permacoat on the outside and interior. Scheduling that took two weeks. There was no call back to my wife when she called and finally spoke with someone. The phone rings like crazy with no answer and sometimes just hangs up. For questions, I had to drive to the dealership to get a reply. When we did get everything scheduled, I pointed out a chip in the paint. The lady up front took a picture and said they would take care of it. No. It's still there and now that it is very clean, I found two more. And I can bet that this will have to be a submittal to Permacoat, meaning I get more delays. Lastly, there is something on the roof of the truck. I have a video where you can hear my nails clicking on something that is on 50% of the surface. $60k for this. The service department puts the word service in the title. Patrick and the others have always taken care of me and I will always bring my truck here when needed. I am proud to tell people that I have my truck serviced there. WOMEN BEWARE -- Please read before doing business here. I had an extremely negative experience at this dealership, and the issues have continued long after the sale, including their refusal to pay their portion of the GAP insurance I purchased through them. When I first bought my vehicle, the financing process was unprofessional and hostile. The finance representative became so escalated that he actually threatened to "take things outside" when my boyfriend questioned why my payment amount didn't match what I was originally told. Two weeks later, I had to bring my truck back for a repair on an issue that had been present since the purchase. When I arrived, I was suddenly told I needed to re-sign my loan with new terms. This is a completely unethical practice. The same finance employee who had previously been aggressive with my boyfriend began pressuring me, telling me I needed to sign immediately because he was "busy." It was 8:00 p.m., the lobby was empty, and his behavior made me feel extremely uncomfortable. When I asked for a manager, he first refused. Once the manager finally came out, he did not ask for my side of the situation; instead, he immediately sided with the finance employee. I explained that I no longer felt comfortable completing the purchase under these conditions. He responded, "fine," and provided no support whatsoever. I was visibly shaken and asked if they could help me get an Uber since it was late and dark outside. The manager told me they would not assist and that they were closing, so I needed to leave. As I walked out in tears, he shouted across the showroom, "Have a good night." I walked alone to a nearby Kroger and waited there until my boyfriend could pick me up. Now, months later, they are claiming they sent the GAP insurance funds to my lender, but my bank has absolutely no record of any payment. I have left multiple messages, and no one has called me back. This has been hands down the worst experience in buying a car. I am a fairly easy going person and put empathy first in most situations, and it's a long story but if you want to read it please keep scrolling. My recommendation is do not have any dealings with this dealership. We got to the dealership March 21st and asked to drive one of the 2 used mustangs they had listed, and it took the salesman an hour if not longer to come back and tell us he can't find the keys to them. That's when I said I'll drive whatever mustang you have that's a convertible (knowing they arent all the same.) Then it took another 1/2 hour to bring one out, and we almost left at that point. He brought out a gorgeous 2019 GT/CS. We didn't plan to spend that much but fell in love with the car. We left and had dinner and returned to buy the car. We signed some credit report papers and were told that our interest rate was unable to be told to us until they lock a bank in. We waited quite a few hours for financing and then we were then told we were unable to drive the car home that evening due to the fact that it hasn't been inspected by the dealership. Finally get to the financing part and I have a 825 credit score and the best they could do was 9.8. Quite upset and frankly stunned, when I had prior authorization at 6.02 through chase. I said whatever, I just want to leave now especially being at the dealership now for roughly 8 hours. I'll refinance later. Come to find out they ran my credit 6 times and dropped my score 40 points. I was told that the car would be ready to be picked up on Monday and working afternoons I figured Tuesday, the salesman reached out to me and said it won't be ready Monday but Tuesday, then Tuesday came along and same story it won't be ready until Wednesday. That is when I told him I will be there first thing Wednesday morning to get, he replied gotcha. We go to get it, mind you it is an hour drive for us. It needs a new set of tires and tire sensors, but safe to drive. They will let me know when the parts are in to bring the car back up to get the work done. The Saturday after I was called by the salesman and he stated that he forgot to have me sign a couple pieces of paperwork, and they sent someone out to have me sign, which entailed something small about dents and dings. No big deal. I get a message and finally the tires are ready to be replaced, so the salesman makes an appointment without waiting for a reply for what day is good for us and I went in and changed it. We go there on Friday April 4th, a vacation day for me, to get them replaced and the sensors installed and we wait another 3 hours and an hour from home and they scratch two of the rims. At this point I am so just beyond upset, they keep the car and give us a loaner and we were told 3 days tops to get the car back, given the weekend I expected to here something by Tuesday. Wednesday April 5th the finance guy calls and emails me telling me that the financing fell through from the originally deal but he got us into a different bank with .03 less interest rate and about the same monthly payment, but doesn't think we need to resign anything, which sounded strange. Again I was really upset and asked him why he didn't contact me sooner when I could have gotten my own financing and he said well I'm doing that now. Then that same day I was trying to reach out to the service department about when the car would be ready to be picked up and I was getting sent around to different numbers and voicemails. My wife was able to get through to someone and was able to pick the car up. April 21st comes around and my first payment was due and I still haven't received a bill from the finance company, and I get a call from the finance guy at Ford of Murfreesboro and I need to sign paperwork along with have my first month ready when they bring the paperwork for me to sign. Now I'm so tables flipping furious, and I tell him to either take XXX amount in cash for the car or come pick it up. He said well I can't make that decision, and someone would call me. I told him, that I understand he is trying to make a living but you are messing with my credit along with my finances. So a customer experience member calls me and I explain everything that has happened through our experience in purchasing this vehicle, the positives along with the negatives. He offers to pay the first month payment and we accept. Someone comes out and I sign the new paperwork. Thinking it was all done and said for, and my mistake for not getting it in writing, but I just received a late letter about the first month payment. Even after this review I'm quite sure nothing will be done. This dealership will say and do whatever to make a sale. Absolutely Horrible! I dropped off my vehicle for warranty repairs and was informed it would take a week or more to be serviced. I was told they don't offer loaner cars but Ford "might" pay for a rental car. Unfortunately, the rental car reimbursement would not be approved until my vehicle had been diagnosed. I was told Ford had an account with a rental car company down the street at a rate of $40 a day. Since I had no transportation and I did not know if Ford was going to reimburse me for the rental, I chose to walk to a rental car company across the street that was only $30 a day. A week later, I received a text from the Ford Service agent who informed me that Ford would pay for my rental car. Once my vehicle was ready, I returned the rental car and walked back to the Ford service department. I was asked if I had rented a "Ford" vehicle. I stated, "no, it was whatever they had available, I think it was a Mazda." The service agent then told me they would not reimburse me for the rental because I should have rented a Ford. Wow!?! I said it would have been nice to know that before I rented a car. The agent then began to argue with me and so I just grabbed my keys and left. Horrible service!! read more

We planned to sell my husband's truck due to a sunroof issue and not wanting to fool with repairs. They agreed to buy it as-is. As he goes to sign the deal they call and said they started repairs and that they could not make that price anymore. Their thing is "well you approved the repair". Yes, then I had them contact you about buying my vehicle. You said as is. (We were not planning to buy our new truck from them) It's not my fault there's no communication internally. You always know you are going to take a hit at the dealership - whereever you go. They have a reputation for a reason. However, their finance guy lied through his teeth when selling an extended warranty. There was not misunderstanding. It was believeable given the fact that my husband had a lifetime warranty on his truck. The conversation lent itself to 3 different times he could have corrected my understanding as I described it several different ways. But he chose to keep his mouth shut and let me believe what I wanted to believe. So I was screwed, and of course this guy was out the door right after my sale apparently even after working with Ford Motor for over 3 decades (which is what he said). The GM of this dealership would neither deny or confirm what was said, but after he heard my story, they did refund the warranties that were sold to me under false pretenses. This is unusual for a dealership, so my situation had merit in his eyes. The amount paid credits it back to the loan, but does not change your payment apparently. That's annoying...i know it washes in the end...but a higher payment for a lower financed amount sucks right now in this economy. Not sure why they could not do the loan over with the correct amount since they lied. i have not even made the first payment. But when I do, I will reminded each month how bad Ford of Murfreesboro is. I have never purchased a vehicle without getting lied to, misled, or being treated with a condesending attitude. Buyer be Aware!!! Murfreesboro Ford will make you promises they do not intend to keep. I purchased a new car with a trade-in. They asked for a 20 day pay-off on the trade because they state they will send the pay-off within 20 days. Here we are at day 22 and now they are saying they will send the pay-off within 30 days. "the checks in the mail". They do not seem to care that their incompetence cost the customer in additional finance charges in the end. I had similar experiences from Murfreesboro Toyota where they promised a second key fob within 30 days of purchase. I received it after six months of ownership. Come to find out the same group owns both dealerships. Sounds like their Moto may be to close the deal and shaft the customer. Scheduled my truck to have oil change and broken window switch replaced, confirmed a time and two hour window for work to be completed. Upon arrival was told they would need my truck for a day to replace window switch which was "No longer in stock." - Why schedule work if you cannot perform it during confirmed time. I had no idea how the whole thing was going to unfold! But much to my surprise after checking in with my service advisor at a schedule appointment, things went very smoothly. Prior to my service visit Ford of Murfreesboro I stopped by and began the inquiry process. Set up an appointment and had them check availability for a key fob. There was a question only the warranty company could answer. So we waited until my appointment. Turned out they had the proper key fob, Ford of Murfreesboro and warranty company took care of payment issues and we did an oil change as well. Everything went smoothly and in a timely manor! Took my 2002 F-150 in for intermittent starting issue. They put a new starter/solenoid on for $1,058.00. Didn't fix the problem. Turns out it was a key fob issue. You would think after servicing this model vehicle for 20 years they would have run across that. Moreover, they charged $50 for shop supplies. This is my first post on Yelp. But I had to share my story with anyone doing business with them. Service stinks. I had an appointment to bring my 2022 Explorer to Ford Murfreesboro on Wednesday, 3/12/25 at 8:00 AM to get a tire changed out and see why 3rd row seats would not lay flat. I asked for a loaner and was told they did not have any to give me. I had to rent a car that morning. I called my service agent on Thursday morning and was told they were waiting for approval from the tire warranty company (I had purchased the tire wheel policy). Car is still sitting in the lot. I heard nothing the rest of the day. On Friday at 3:30 PM, I called again and was told by a service member that tire was approved but no one had looked at 3rd row seat. And was told that no one would be able to look at the 3rd row seat until the following week. I returned the rental car Friday afternoon (I was going out of town and riding with someone else). Rental car was $221 for 3 days. I didn't hear from my rep Friday afternoon or Saturday. I had to call back once again Monday morning as I had no car to pick my daughter up from school. Was told that tire was done and was next ticket to get seats looked at. I said "Great, will they see it today". She said she did not know if it would be today or tomorrow and she would let me know. I told her financially I could not rent a car for another couple days so please bring the car back to me and I will schedule another appointment to have seats looked out so I could get car in and out on the same day. She told me it would re-open another ticket and car could be there for a day or a week. This is the most unacceptable answer. If you are not going to give loaner cars, minor work needs to be done day of scheduled appointments. Unless you are fine with renting a car for an extended period of time, I would rethink Ford of Murfreesboro service department. So basically I waited 5 days, paid $221 for a rental car, paid for one tire to be changed. And my 3rd row seats still won't lay flat. read more

When my 2022 Ford Maverick died unexpectedly at a gas station (suddenly dead, no dash lights, nothing) I called the roadside assistance number and had it towed to Ford of Murfreesboro (where I purchased the truck) and called a few hours later for an update. I was told by my service advisor, and again by the service manager that it would be 3 or 4 days before they can diagnose the issue due to their back log. Ok, I understand that, but what am I supposed to do for a car will my new truck is awaiting service? "Well, we dont have loaners, and Ford will not reimburse us for a rental if the repair ends up taking less than 4 hours " so no rental. Ok, so what do I do now? " well you could call Ford and ask if they will authorize the rental" This is a ridiculous example of poor customer service. Why is the burden placed on me to get a rental to drive while my NEW TRUCK is broken down? I paid well over MSRP for the truck, and even got the extended warranty and all the other dealer bells and whistles, so they have made money off of me, but are unwilling to risk reimbursement for a rental? Made a basic service appointment and arrived early. They said I'd be over two hours for an oil change. I asked why, basically stated that appointment is not a service time appointment but a drop off appointment. Meaning that non scheduled drop offs earlier than me would get service before my appointment time service. They told me it was up to me to show up when they first opened and an appointment time after that would not be helpful if I wanted an oil change in less than two hours. Drive 30 min and go to a different dealership! I purchased a 2021 Ford F-150 XLT on 23 Jan 2021. After "completing" the sale, the following are the problems I encountered; I am active duty Military and provided my duty orders and LES to the dealership in order to receive a 500 dollar discount. Then in 27 Jan, the dealership says that's not enough proof. That I need to go onto the Ford website and get a certificate proving I am Military. Once on the website I needed to upload my orders and LES (the same thing I gave the dealership) in order to get the certificate. This is the beginning of a rough month. On Jan 29th the finance department "forgot" to complete a document and I needed to initial and sign to receive the discount, again. The dealership agreed to upgrade the seats to leather as part of the sales deal. After being told it would Be a few days, it turned into a few weeks to get installed. During installation, I had a seat belt sensor get damaged and they didn't hook up the heated seats. Something I forgot to mention is that the Sync 4 Navigation hasn't worked from day one. After dropping off the vehicle they determine that the 3rd party vender did not perform the job to standard and now they had to order parts for the seat belt. The heated seats turned out not to be plugged in. The navigation had to be worked by the sales team because the service team doesn't deal with that issue. When I pick up the truck and talk to the sales team member, he looks at the navigation, and states that the service department needs to fix. I have the 2 communicate in the same room after this to get down to the problem, neither knowing how to fix. Another tech, comes over and tries to assist me. This guy worked hard and was a shining light on this place, but "Ford pass" over the phone was closed and so it would have to be dealt with on a different day, when I bring my brand new truck into the shop for the 2ND time in just over a month. the sales manager comes out and states that ford pass needs to just "manually send a signal to the truck" and walks away as if the problem that I am experiencing is not his problem at all. Later on the phone Ford pass says there is no such thing as "sending this signal" to the truck. 24 Feb, Nav still not fixed, appointment On 2 Mar to attempt to fix Seat belt and hopefully Nav. Took my 2012 Ford Escape in for an evaluation of an oil leak and oil change. When they called with the estimate, we declined and said we would pick up the car. The next morning when I got into my car, we discovered it leaked a lot of oil on our new concrete. They left the oil pan plug loose. This was the second time they have done this. Absolutely stay away from the service department at this place. Took my Ford Escape in overnight and left it for a Thursday service appointment. As of Saturday around lunch time, they still have not even looked at it, saying it's a 3-5 business day wait (something that was never initially communicated to me). Purchased a new vehicle from Ford of Murfreesboro a few years ago with extended warranty, sold the vehicle a few weeks ago, called Ford of Murfreesboro about a rebate on the extended warranty on Friday leaving reason for call and my contact number, called again Monday again leaving reason and my contact number, called again Tuesday leaving reason for call and my contact info, NEVER (poor customer Service) received a call back. Finally sent a email to them, got a call and when they called they said they received a email from me and wanted to know why I sent this, I ask them did you read the email that would give you the reason for me contacting you and they said no they were just calling to see. I finally went to the dealership and spoke to a finance person about my rebate, I used 43% of my warranty 57% of warranty was unused, I was told I would get 30% of my cost back, when ask why when only 43% of warranty was used, I was told the dealership doesn't give back unused warranty they give a percentage, REALLY !!! Just another way for them to scam money from you. Very poor communication from them and to call and leave message three times over three days and not receive a call back is TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
