Being a close friend of Christy A. I felt at sometime in my Yelp career I need to post a bathroom picture. This was THE place for me to post that pic. Having spent my whole life selling automobiles I guess I just had to come here. Everything Ford(Fixed Or Repaired Daily or Found On Road Dead). OK what about the food? This is a burger place with some limited other items on the menu. I ordered the "American Standard" burger which comes with ready, for it? American cheese, lettuce, pickles, onions and a side of Fries. They will cook your burger to order which is nice to see this making a comeback from the mad cow scare years ago. I had mine medium and it was cooked perfect. There is an option for building your own burger but the price gets stupid high. Mrs. K. ordered the fish and chips. I cannot believe the size of the piece of fish they put on her plate. It was as big as her head:). And that is big. I must mention that this location is in a huge outlet mall named Mirormar Outlet. I escaped without having to shop because I lied to the wife and said I have to go home and use the restroom. Note I did use the restroom there but she must have forgot. :D. read more

My first trip to a Ford's Garage was back in August, I'm not a car fanatic, but I did enjoy the automotive themed decor. I originally discovered Ford's Garage on Yelp when my guy friend from Upstate NY (who loves cars) was coming to visit me in South Florida. We were staying on the west side of FL for a few days and I was looking for unique things to do and places to eat. We had visited the one at the Outlet Mall and also the one in Fort Myers during that trip, we all enjoyed both. I recommend checking to see if the bar has any happy hour specials. In the off season (summer), this establishment was offering $3 margaritas, but I'm not sure if they have that during peak tourist season (winter). I ended up with a green beer (Coors Light) on 3/17, that was also $3. I was up here the other day and went with my mom to grab a light bite to eat. I like that you can order a side salad and a side item for under $10. My mom went for the French Onion soup and a small salad, she enjoyed both items. I had a side salad and side mac and cheese ($3.99). The mac and cheese was just ok, a bit on the bland side. Ford's does seem to specialize in burgers, they have a good selection on the menu. I think this is a great place to take well behaved children, they will likely enjoy this unique establishment. Consider taking your friend or family member who LOVES cars, they will enjoy the ambiance here. I have been to both locations and for atmosphere I like the downtown one better but parking and getting to the place is challenging. The one at Miromar Outlet Mall is much easier to get to and park. The food is typical "bar fare" with everything I had was good. I like the food and drink specials and the local beers that they offer. Most recently I had the onion rings (big, crispy and great dipping sauce) and the Black and Bleu burger. I am a sucker for a good pretzel bun. The fries are served in a nice mini fry basket and were golden crispy, not at all soggy. It is a fun place to go to and I have not had bad service. read more

Made a quick pit stop to have a drink and something small to eat. After shopping at an outlet mall nothing sounds better than happy hour. Decor was pretty neat. Lots of cool auto related items. Bathrooms were super neat. Ordered some pork nachos and a happy hour $4 margarita. Nachos were nothing fancy but did the job. Nice portion size also. Table of 5 snacked on then. And it goes without saying that on vacation in Florida there is no such thing as a bad $4 margarita. I popped into Miramar's mall on my way home after a trip to Bradenton. I was pleased to discover a new place to eat - Ford's Garage - so I went inside. I sat at the busy bar (Monday lunch time) and ordered a burger and asked for lettuce instead of a bap - when it arrived the burger was sat on one lettuce leaf! not impressed, especially as they claim to offer custom made burgers. After asking for more lettuce (ie to surround the burger with so I could pick it up and eat it), I received a mini plate with three additional lettuce leaves. Oh well!.. The service was fast and friendly at the bar. I ordered a house merlot red wine which was 4 dollars within the happy hour special - nice enough except the glass was not too clean. The place was packed and full. I used the restrooms which were clean enough and enjoyed the fun and quirky sinks which are incorporated within a car tyre. I kid you not.. The bar area also had an old black Ford car hanging above the bar area. I did not take any photographs as I forgot my phone, so I apologise for that! The place is pleasant enough - not gourmet food, but if I shopped at Miromar again I would pop in again for a quick bite, but only for that reason and if it was lunch time. Incidentally there is not a lot of choice to dine whilst at the outlet - so this would explain imo why this place was busy! Also I heard conversations at the bar and also saw, that there were a lot of men supping beers etc, waiting for their partners to finish shopping, another reason why it is busy!!! read more

Excellent is what I would say. Atmosphere is awesome especially if you are into garages. Food... absolutely no complaints. Our group of 10 ordered for starters the fried pickles which were the beat ever.The pretzel side had a nice cinnamon hint again top notch. The shrimp(boom boom) had an awesome kick, some of the best I've had. Finally the onion rings were delicious. Not dried out but big and juicy, loved them. Ok so now dinner choices. Since there were ten of us I will just list off all of the selections.1 model A burger, 4 Estate burgers, 1 Chicken Henry, 1 Salmon, plain cheeseburger,Jiffy burger and finally chicken fingers and fries. We went to FGSU for a campus tour for my daughter. We had Gianna as our server and she is so outgoing & bubbly. The concept of the restaurant is really cool . The old Ford pickup outside and Ford 2-door is really neat. The menu has lot's of great choices & variety. I ordered the Model A Burger my wife ordered the Ford's Signature Burger & my daughter the Mac & Cheese with shrimp. The food look's so fresh & delicious. Burgers where cooked perfect juicy. The service was excellent. Everybody was very friendly. We were giving menus right away and and were given the option to move indoors if we were too cold. My mother ordered the wagYu beef burger and I had the pulled pork sandwich. The food was good but it's not going to blow your mind. Frankly it's about what I expected. No major complaints. Been wanting to come here for a while. Always busy. Finished shopping at the miramar outlets so decided to try it while we were here. Greeted at the door with a long line so we are at the bar. Got greeted as soon as we sat down. Hooks under the bar for your bag. Offered drinks. Ice all the way around the bar to put your drink to keep it cold. Silver comes wrapped in a napkin/rag. Totally cat themed everywhere you look! The only thing low carb about the lo carburetor is the no bun. Because you can top it with cheese or anything else to make it no longer lo carb. All burger options can be substituted for chicken or turkey! Lots of burger choices. Good came out quick and cooked correctly. Everything was delish, especially the side of fries. Desserts looked good too but too full! Will try the onion soup and maybe dessert next time. read more

This place is beyond cool! If you like cars you'll love this place. They are very well known for there burgers and craft beers. As soon as you walk in you are wowed with the small details like the gas pump handles on the doors, a car hanging from the ceiling, leather menus and etc. I had the estate burger and it was such a unique and delicious experience. My burger was cooked to perfection! The presentation was really cool they stamp it with the company name and present it with a little flag. The fries were okay although the onion rings were AMAZING. However, it's a $1.49 up charge and they only give you 3 to 4. But I must say they had so much flavor as opposed to the wedges that lacked a lot of flavor. This is a unique experience and definitely touristy. I will be coming back here for the estate burger it made quite the impression on me. read more

I order often through DoorDash with Ford's garage. I love the shrimp and berry salad. Unfortunately, they routinely leave the shrimp off my order. I can't help but feeling ripped off. For a salad that is almost $20, a lot of that cost is going to be the protein. They are making a nice profit by "forgetting" the shrimp. read more

Went here for a late Friday night dinner after the Blades game tonight. The place was quiet at 10:00pm, with only a few tables occupied. I was impressed with the decor, lots of old Ford cars in the restaurant and a cool bar in the center. We were seated in a high booth. The waitress was pleasant. She gave us a few tips. We ordered the model A burger with fries and gravy, plus a side of onion rings. Ginger ale and water to drink. The ginger ale that arrived tasted too watery. We told the waitress and she said she would bring a cherry coke. She also said she would not charge us for the ginger ale, which I would hope not! The burger arrived within 20 minutes, which was very tasty with the cheese, thick bacon, and egg, but the fries were cold. We told the gentleman who delivered them and he brought us a fresh batch. They forgot the gravy, even though we asked about it twice. The onion rings came, which were hot, but you only get four onion rings, far too little for what you pay. read more

I had been to the Ford's Garage in downtown Ft Myers a few years ago and enjoyed it. I was excited when they opened one closer to home in Estero, but, years went by and I never visited ... until this weekend. We we're warmly greeted when we arrived. We mentioned that we preferred a booth, and we're seated quickly in a nice, spacious, corner booth ... we we're quite pleased. The hostess, and our server we're very friendly, we really enjoyed the decorations and garage theme ... real cool stuff right down to the last detail. We ordered some onion rings ( which were awesome) and I decided I was interested in a cocktail. I looked at the prices and thought they were a little high ($10 - $11) which would be ok if they were on the large side. When I asked the waitress about the size of the drink it seemed it was just barely larger than a normal drink at any other place. When I declined to order a drink the waitress tried to imply that the reason for the high price was due to the fact that they took extra effort to make the drink "pretty" ... That the drink was somehow "artistry"!?!? This kinda ticked me off! (ok ... I can be grumpy old man) I just felt a little insulted that she thought I was dumb enough to be convinced that a garnish was art! (grumpy, grumpy, grumpy) She was a good waitress, and just a kid, I felt bad for putting her on the spot ... sincerely!!! I also got a little grumpy when they brought out our onion rings we realized immediatly we needed more dipping sauce, but, the gal who brought them out (not our waitress) plopped them on the table, turned around, and immediately walked away before we could even ask a question. Ticked me off ... they really weren't even that busy! I know ... grumpy, grumpy, grumpy old man. We flagged down our waitress and she quickly resolved the issue. We actually had a really good time the food was awesome the service was good and we had fun. We will probably go back and I would recommend it. If it wasn't for the sauce thing ... I would have rated them a 4 star. If they weren't so greedy with their drink prices I would give them a 5 star rating ... AND ... I would be a REGULAR! Fun Garage Themed Restaurant and Bar in the Miromar Outlets shopping plaza. Parking is easy and plentiful. Ford's Garage is exactly what it sounds like - a Ford Garage themed restaurant. There is an antique Ford on a lift above the bar. Staff wear garage uniform style shirts with their names on patches. Cutlery is bundled with a shop rag that serves as your napkin with a hose clamp to hold everything together. It's worth a trip to the restrooms just to see the gas nozzle water spigots and wheel well basins. They are known for their Craft Beer and Burgers but have a full bar and offer more than typical pub grub. The Chop Shop Salad and Chili Garlic Salmon are both favorites. They offer great options for "Custom Builds" with some options you simply won't find at most other places. Besides black angus beef, ground chicken patties, and marinated chicken breasts, they also offer: grilled portobello mushroom, ahi tuna steak, Kobe beef and open range bison. There's also a great list of options for bread, cheese and sauce. The Funnel Cake Fries make a great dessert. They come with white chocolate and raspberry dipping sauces. They disappear fast. This was my first visit to this location and everything was as expected. They handled our large group well, especially considering we came in at different times. This is a great place to get together with a group of people and just have a few laughs and enjoy the ambience of a wonderful restaurant in Fort Myers. We each had different entrées that were prepared to perfection. One of the things I liked was the fact that we can't talk so freely without the restaurant being too loud and in the music being too loud. Talk about accommodating- we started as a small group of three and grew into a table of ten, and they just kept adding tables for us. I had the American Standard burger, which was more than I could eat. The bun is even "branded" with their name ( pretty cool) I asked for a salad instead of fries, and I should have eaten that first and taken the burger home or eaten the burger and taken the salad home. For $12.00 it was more than I could eat. Then I had a chance to taste the funnel fries!! Good thing I was full ( and they weren't mine) or I would have eaten them all!! You get a raspberry sauce and a cream cheese sauce to dip them in, so switch it up and try them both!! read more

Gluten free bun crumbled instantly upon grabbing our pulled pork sandwich. Mac n cheese came out barely warm. Server took off the up charge. Rather than simply re-heat the mac they made an entirely new one. well that took some time and we ended up taking most of it home. Glassware and finished plates were not cleared unless asked...or not at all. Water glasses were never refilled. Our server was well intentioned but had next to zero attentiveness. We were a party of 9 and others wanted to mention other issues but decided against and settled. I was somewhat surprised that the manager did not stop at our table. Great selection of draft beers, including Florida/local beers, and a great selection of burgers! I love their pretzel app and they have a bomb house salad. Service is always good!
