We were at St E medical center across the street and looked for restaurants close by based on reviews... this and one other restaurants rated 4.5 or higher so we decided to try out this place. We both loved it! It is themed with Ford obviously and I found it charming and fun and I look forward to bringing our 11 yr old. Service was fantastic (thank you Sarah) and our waitress gave us tips and suggestions.. we ended up ordering the burnt ends brisket sandwich and a burger to split, with onion rings and fries.... I also brought a bowl of chili home. Let me just say, I will be ordering the brisket sandwich next time and not splitting.... He may do the same... as we both loved it!! Such a wonderful smoky bbq flavor and just about the most tender, without a lot of visible fat, sandwich I have had in forever. Definitely try it if you think you'd like it at all... you will :) The burger was a solid choice but we both definitely preferred the brisket sandwich. If we got a burger again we'd do it individually as the mushroom one looked amazing but the husband won't eat them and burgers he'd have enjoyed more I won't eat :) But even just the burger with cheese was good :) The fries and onion rings were HOT and flavorful and good... Almost forgot- the chili was great! We heated up with some of our leftovers for the kiddo and she loved it all... we will be back! I want to start by saying that our server was amazing and great, and she happened to be training somebody who also was amazing and great. They were extremely fast and helpful when it came to our food and drinks. my partner and I visited here because we needed something in the area, but also wanted to try a sitdown restaurant and we had never been to a Ford garage before The decor was really cool with all the old cars and we even heard the horn sound when they went to go sing. Happy birthday. This place was definitely a family place to go sit and eat with kids included! they had a really big menu which surprised us and we ended up ordering the onion ring tower and then I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger and my partner just got a classic burger both with fries. The onion rings were good, but when it came to the burgers, they were lackluster and very bland. the bill was not terrible, but did not align with the quality of food that was given. personally, I think if you want to go somewhere that has a really cool ambience and really cool decor this might be the place for you but unfortunately I do not see myself returning just because it was pricey for the food that we got and the quality overall. I went here with my friend & we both had the Henry Ford Chicken but with different sides. The service is fast & friendly, even during lunch rush. It was lunch rush, so it was noisy. We have been to Ford's in Florence many times for lunch and dinner and really enjoy it overall. The burgers are always delicious and my son loves all of the old cars and decor. The service has been good every time, even when they're super busy. The only thing I don't love is the size of the four top tables. As a family of four I feel like they're just too cramped, but I never want to be the customer who asks for special treatment, so we just make the best of it. What a great place! We ordered takeout and the food was wonderful! Had the motor city kettle chips as an appetizer and would highly recommend! If you are a Ford vehicle person or not, you have to give this place a try! The ambiance is fun, unique, and really mixes the classic car/garage vibe with your time there. The napkins are actually work rags that I would use to work on my car. I promise they were clean though, no grease included! The food was fantastic and I highly recommend a burger and the onion rings. Service was good and helpful in making decisions about to try. Certainly going to be a place I go to again and can't wait to try some other things to eat. Oh, also, they had a decent drink selection at the bar. I realize my last review of Ford's Garage (Orlando) was less than favorable. My wife and daughter have eaten at a couple and they liked them. So, in the interest of being fair, I thought I would give them another try. I went to Florence, KY location. The first thing I noticed was that there are a lot of hard surfaces (garage-esque) so it is a little noisy for my liking...but what do expect from an old dude. I had the American Standard burger. I managed to keep my shirt clean, which was no small task. The burger was juicy and delicious. I also had the onion rings. I DO NOT like mushy onion rings and these did not disappoint. Cooked wonderfully and crispy...BRAVO! All in all, it was quite good. I suppose I will chalk up my Orlando experience as someone having an off day (could have been me). I will likely be back to try other menu items. read more

Tried the Fords Garage for the first time. I was initially impressed with the decor. Completely authentic Ford materials. The menu had anything for any variety of likes. Our server name was Maddy. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the informatics about the franchise and licensing. She knew the menu inside and out. She was very attentive to our needs. So my wife and I were looking for someplace different to go in the Florence area. This was the place. It was a beautiful sunny day and a bit disappointed that the garage doors weren't open. Inside has a nice vibe but they do have a patio. So, we went out there and man oh man did we get the absolutely best waiter...Christian. He was right there for us when we sat down and took our drink orders for a couple beers. HOWEVER unbeknown to us, they had a happy hour of beer and burger for $10. ONLY at the bar though. Too nice of a day to go inside. So after getting our beers Christian mentioned splitting a burger and boy what a GREAT idea. We ordered a bison burger that was EXCEPTIONAL and just enough with our tater tots. The burger done medium rare was phenomenal. Christian was such a great waiter that if he wasn't working we'd have asked him to sit down and have a beer with us. Christian definitely made the Ford's Garage in Florence the place to go. My coworkers and I came here for dinner after settling in for a work trip. We walked in and appreciated the cool atmosphere. Our waitress explained they are known for the 3 B's- burgers, beer, and bathrooms (tires as sinks). I ordered the smoked burnt ends melt (with no cheese). The sandwich was simply good, but there were no burnt ends present. It was more like just brisket meat. I did appreciate the toasted bread and the fries were fresh. We definitely enjoyed the atmosphere of this unique restaurant. The place was busy well after normal supper hours, which is always a good sign to me. My wife ordered the fried chicken sandwich, which she says rivals the best she's ever had. I went with the BBQ ribs on the recommendation of our server. I should have went with one of their specialty burgers. The ribs tasted like they were baked in an oven and then sauced. There was no smoky flavor whatsoever. I'll definitely go with a burger should we pass this way again. My only other issue was that we were not offered refills until our meal was complete and even then we were only asked if we wanted a drink to go. The fact that our server was 10' away behind the bar makes this even more unacceptable. In short, I spent $19 for a half rack of ribs that were subpar and paid over $3 for one glass of sweet tea. As an official licensee of the Ford Motor Company I had no idea what to expect at casual eatery Ford's Garage. Would there be servers with bad comb-overs trying to upsell me on an extended warranty and usurious lease terms or, is it just a casual place fully immersed in automotive theming. Came here through recommendation from a local. Walking up I knew this place would be a gear head wonderland and it did not disappoint. From the toolbox waiter stations to the lifts with Model Ts atop to the on theme restroom signage and the mechanic rags as napkins this place was completely on theme. That said atmosphere was great. Menu is mostly American food/ BBQ. I ended up getting the Brisket Ranchero Roadster because it was a smaller portion size but basically the same burger as the BBQ brisket burger. The flavor was good but nothing to write home about and the burger was over a bit done (I like mine pink). The side (tots) seemed to be on the skimpy but I didn't mind bc I wasn't that hungry. Staff was okay. Not super attentive but not bad. Oh and it seemed to take a really long time for us to receive our meal. We arrived to the Northern Kentucky Airport in the evening and was looking for a place to eat. We happened upon Ford's Garage at the south side of the airport and they were open until 11p. Honestly, we didn't expect much when we arrived, except some bar food. But we were completely mistaken. They have an extensive menu, with some healthy choices and some delicious twist on some of classic entrees. We had the Chicken Henry and the Chardonnay Lemon Butter sauce was outstanding. My wife had a BBQ Brisket Burger with Sweet Potato tater tots. She said that the "secret" sauce was out of this world. It was like having dessert with her berger. What a fun addition to the restaurant scene in Florence! Ford's Garage is doing some especially creative things with both its menu and its decor - whether you're a car person or not, I feel like there's something here you'll enjoy. My husband and I stopped in for a late dinner on a Friday night, and were seated right away. I appreciate that they're open until 11 on weekends, as many other restaurants in the area close around 9 p.m. The attention to detail inside this restaurant is absolutely striking, especially on your first visit! From the large Model T displayed over the bar, to the historic pictures all over each wall. Even the napkins match the theme - and the continuity makes the experience even more enjoyable. We were impressed by the large draft list - and loved that even though this is a chain restaurant, there were plenty of local breweries represented. My husband and I were able to order our favorite beers from Braxton and Urban Artifact - which is always a win. We also started with the onion rings as an appetizer, which arrived in a towering display! They were excellent - perfectly light and crispy. I opted for the Ford's Signature burger, which came out cooked exactly to my liking. The bacon was crispy, the cheese melty, and the BBQ sauce delightfully tangy. Our waitress encouraged us to try the Truffle Fries as our sides, and we were not disappointed. My husband ordered the Fish & Chips, and we were both shocked by the size of his meal! The portion sizes in general here are quite large - but this piece of fried fish was probably the largest either of us had ever seen. We did the best we could - but ended up taking much of our meal to-go. Even still, all of it made great leftovers the next day. The prices are also quite reasonable, especially considering how much food you're getting. I was there with 26 others. The decor was fantastic. It reminded me of garages that I worked in 64 years ago. They used grease rags with a hose clamp on them, what an idea. Our waitress was very efficient in getting us menus, water and taking our orders. I had the Ribeye Steak, Medium Rare and it was done to Perfection. It was very flavorful and very tender. I wish this place was closer to where I live and it would be a regular dining place for me. I guaranty, if I am ever in Florence, Ohio it will be on my list for dinner. I was drawn to Ford's primarily for the beer selection. Although they mostly carry national brands, I was able to try Rhinegeist and West Sixth - which were both very good IPA's. The BBQ ribs and brisket was good- but I will definitely come back to try one of the burgers next time. The ice bar is a bit awkward.
