WOW was clear up front on the cost and kept great communication throughout the work. They inspected the brakes and told me they were good to go. They didn't try to upsell me new brakes that I didn't actually need. I highly recommend them, especially for those in Ramona. Let's keep our business local as much as we can! Now it's camping time!

It went to WOW Automotive 2560 Main St, Ramona, CA 92065 The car needed to be looked over as it had been sitting for over a year. When I arrived from Northern CA my brother showed me the list and inspection report including a smog. It was very detailed including new tires, oil, sensor, battery, full inspection, and other items. I looked over everything they did on the car and it had been done! I had one minor issue so I stopped by the shop where I was greeted by 2 employees and the owner. The shop was very clean and laid out nicely. They obviously took great pride in this shop. They were very friendly and immediately took my car in and put it on the rack. The owner showed me my concern (was listed in the inspection) and I felt the interaction was very positive and nothing that needed to be addressed immediately. The car runs excellent and I felt that WOW is a very honest, trustworthy, and transparent shop. To find a shop like this is very hard, based on my past experiences with dealerships (I can tell you stories where I get charged $65 to replace a cabin filter-which was never done). The price that was paid for the services was reasonable and fair. I was very impressed with the owner and staff. I would not hesitate to HIGHLY RECOMMEND WOW!

Alex at Thuroghbred has done work on our vehicles and we always enjoy seeing him. I got my bill and thought it was higher than our last oil change and when I called Jesse he explained why the price may have slightly increased. Jesse is always straight forward and lets you know what and why things are done. Also an extremely thorough inspection was done that pointed out something's I had never noticed with the tire wear and other fluids. A complete report(including photos) was sent to Me when service was Completed It's this kid of attention to detail and professionalism that I recommend Thuroughbred Motors to everyone I know! The front office staff are the best!

Please read!! I'm…read morenot exaggerating when I say this: Thoroughbred Motors made me believe in the kindness of strangers again. Here's the story. I was in Julian for my best friend's wedding. I was the maid of honor, totally stressed, and had my reactive dog with me, staying at a nearby pet-friendly hotel. My Jeep broke down about 10 minutes outside of town. Turns out the water pump basically exploded (don't quote me on the mechanics, I just know it was bad and my car was overheating). We let it cool, filled it with water, and somehow coasted it into Ramona. The first shop we stopped at was lovely, just slammed with cars. They kindly referred us to Thoroughbred Motors, hoping they might have space. This was busy season, and I've worked at several Harley dealerships as the Customer Experience Manager for many years, so I understand how hectic it can get--especially when someone needs something done fast or is in a stressful situation. Getting parts can be a nightmare, and turnaround times aren't always in anyone's control. I was basically falling apart. I was panicked, my dog was overheating, everything was going wrong. Then we got to Thoroughbred. And from the moment we arrived, they were kind, calming, and genuinely helpful. I had to head back to Southern California with my family, but my fiancé stayed behind with our dog. Leaving her was hard for me. She's a rescue who isn't always comfortable in new environments. (And I know it's cliche, but she's my baby). Not only did they diagnose the issue that same day, they ordered the part and had it delivered by the next morning. They even picked up my fiancé and our reactive dog from the hotel early so he wouldn't have to pay an extra fee. Before they did, they moved their own office dogs into the break room to make sure our girl wouldn't get triggered. When they got there, they had a bowl of water ready for her, a toy, treats, poop bags, and a little gift bag. The ladies in the office even played with her. My fiancé sent me photos and I cried from relief. They also gave my nieces toys and let them use the restroom while we were figuring everything out. Every single person at this place was kind, generous, and thoughtful in a way I will never forget. If you take anything away from this review, let it be this: trust. The resounding feeling I had with this shop was complete trust and genuine care. In a moment when I felt helpless, they made us feel safe. That kind of integrity is rare. The work on the car was excellent. The way they treated us felt like family. They turned what could have been one of the worst days into one of the best experiences I've ever had with any business. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Love, Jamie, JB, and Clover

I've been a CA resident for 18 years, and a Ramona resident for 15 years. Ramona tire has been my go-to tire supply store for all my truck and trailer needs for over 12 years, maybe 15 years. My wife experienced a flat tire in her 2010 Toyota Camry, west bound out of town on the 67. She installed the donut spare after pulling off down a side street, drove the half mile/mile to Ramona tire pros, arrived at 4:40 and was turned away after it was explained to my wife and I that there was too little time to replace the flat with a fresh tire on the wheel. The associate and point of contact was Ashley. I asked if they could simply swap the tires on the wheel and I would drive down in my pickup and place the tire on the vehicle myself. Ramona tire Pros was presented with an opportunity to be "The Hero", instead they turned my wife 'n kids away because they refused to turn their air compressor back on maybe work 5-10 minutes over time and save the day. Again they said there was too little time. We end up making a phone call, park the vehicle in the parking lot, I pick them up, drive to Poway Discount tire, pick up a freshy, drive back 'n replace the tire myself in the parking lot. I'm moving on after 12/15 years. Discount tire is now my go-to nation wide tire supply store. I will say, if Brad was there, they would have done the work and helped me out instead of giving an excuse. Super disappointed and shocked. The owner is great, the employees are not. Moving on. I'm fed up with the employees at both Oil-Changers and Ramona Tire Pros. The employees at both of these businesses are kids that care very little. They've lost a loyal customer. A little effort and professional pride goes a long way, unfortunately that's rare these days. ** Feb 11, 2026 ...this is why I am now loyal to Discount Tire. As long as I'm in the door by six, they will help me. They are nation wide as well. Ten minutes, the tire was already off the vehicle. In the time it took the manager and staff to turn my wife and kids away, the work could have been done. It wasn't necessary to place the tire back on the vehicle. This is laziness in my opinion.

They are so accommodating in getting me in (because I always wait until I have a flat or hear a loud sound ), and offer very fair prices. They do my tires, my brakes and I'm sure more in the future. Thank you Ramona Tire Pros for being such a great local business!
