Dr. Sal was kind, thorough, and took the time to explain all my options without any pressure. I paid $174 (out of pocket patient) for the referral & one tooth x-ray for the oral surgeon. I had recently moved to Paradise from Los Angeles and I did not have a dentist. I had searched and this dentist sounded like a very upscale dentist office which felt safe for future appointments, but after arrival and seeing the front office & treatment rooms that looked like something you'd see when going to Disneyland, I was concerned about what their pricing structure might look like for me, LOL, (expensive decorating not seen in the photos). At my appt., Dr. Azari made a "quick" comment, as she fled the room that the tooth next to the bad one had possible decay down by the root and she was gone like that!! I wanted to ask if the oral surgeon would have to remove that tooth along with the bad one...that wasn't going to happen as she was gone. Two weeks later my oral surgeon's office called me & said Kremer Dentistry would have to cut the bridge before he could pull the tooth. Dr. Azari had given me the wrong info told me the oral surgeon would handle the cutting of the bridge. Apparently it's common knowledge oral surgeons don't have dental equipment for that procedure so I had to call back. I have called a couple times and tried to get some answers from the dentist Dr Azari to find out what's going to happen to me when she saws the bridge.... Questions: will my tooth be exposed, will I be in pain, do I rush over to the oral surgeon, etc etc. To this day I can't get any answers unless I pay $349 for an appt. and then talk to the dentist. It's become apparently obvious to me that it's all about money and not about the care.. I do not recommend Kremer Dentistry.

They helped put me at ease and made me comfortable the day of my appointment and the day I returned for my new tooth. I was recommended by a bunch of teachers here in Chico and knew that they would not steer me wrong! I came in with a very bad tooth pain that lit up my entire jaw, it was so bad I didn't even know which tooth was causing it. I went to Ampla as an emergency patient and they told me to buckle up for a 6 week approval from my insurance. When I contact Chico Dental and told them what was going on and I wasn't an established patient (but was interested in becoming one) they got me in the same week and got my work done a couple days later. Thank you!!! Again I'm so grateful and want to say thank you for getting me in and taken care of under the circumstance. Because of the amazing staff I'm am now feeling confident to have them take care of some other issues I've been putting off for years!

I searched for highly rated dentist in Chico and found Dr. Gary Johnson's office. My experience was…read moreexcellent. I had a failing crown that was only four years old and I was concerned about the decay that was developing near the exposed root. I sought an opinion from my former dental provider, as they were responsible for the decay due to poor workmanship. They denied the obvious decay, so my trust in them was broken. A few days later, Dr. Johnson evaluated the same tooth and he found significant decay beneath the crown and recommended replacing it. He took the time to explain the problem clearly and he answered all of my questions. The crown replacement went smoothly, and I was relieved to learn that the tooth could be saved without needing a root canal. I am 56 years old and still have all of my natural teeth, so preserving this tooth was very important to me. I truly believe Dr. Johnson's treatment helped prevent further damage and tooth loss. The quality of care, professionalism, and attention to detail were outstanding. I also appreciate that the office provides a five-year warranty on crowns. I would highly recommend Dr. Gary Johnson and his team to anyone looking for a skilled and trustworthy dentist in Chico.
