The minute you walk near their counter to look at the menu above, they're screaming, literally screaming at you next next next.! meanwhile there's no line. There's a bunch of dirty tables. There's a few people sitting at them. There's still plenty of room for people to sit because the place is not packed. My brother ordered his shakshouka, and then I decided upon their jewel platter. We cleaned the table and sat down to eat. My brother's shakshouka had what seemed like hard boiled eggs in it. He took it back and they redid it to have the eggs soft they way it should be. I asked for my Home fries to be crispy. They definitely were not crispy. They're basically boiled potatoes cut into squares and over seasoned. The bagels are just OK. We were there for quite some time. When we left and started driving away, I realized that I had left my pouch there that contained my wallet with everything in it. We were maybe five minutes away from the place and I called them to let them know so they could grab it for me so nobody would take it. The guy yelled in the phone, " you have to come back we too busy". Obviously, I was already heading back. When I entered the place and asked about my pouch, multiple people behind the counter did very little to try to help me. They made a weird face and said they knew nothing about it. It was not on the chair where I had left it. So I asked the gentlemen that we were sitting near the area that I was seated at if they had seen it. And they said yes! They gave it to the guys behind the counter. So, I went back and asked the guys again behind the counter and informed them that I would be calling the police and then all of a sudden they found it immediately. The staff here is horrific. I will absolutely never go there again. Absolutely disgusting place.

So, if you're just trying to grab a bagel at a decent price, and you don't really care much about anything else, Bagel House gets the job done. I just wasn't particularly impressed.

Also, a toasted muffin for family. Great food and service. Friendly staff at counter. Go on the line to place an order. Coffee and tea is self serve in the back. There is a station to get sandwiches and other hot stuff. Lots of chairs and tables to sit and dine. I will be back around the next time to try other items on the menu.
