I have been ordering from BnB for 12 years which should speak for itself. I'm waiting on a delivery for Avocado Toast on bagel from an order I just placed. All of their food is excellent. Bagels are water-boiled (authentic), the people are very nice to talk to. Service is good. But keep in mind they are very popular and busy sio not every order will get there in 30 minutes, but the most I've had to wait was 45 minutes which is still good. Excellent salads, as well as specialty sandwiches, wraps and paninis. The coffee is out of this world. Excellent cream cheese spreads of wide variety. They clearly are cooking bacon/meat on the same part of the same grill as eggs and bread, without separating them or cleaning in between. This is my go-to seamless delivery option for my morning breakfast. Usually I go to another spot for takeout if I'm out and about, but when I want to order breakfast in bed or it's too cold to go out - I go straight here without even questioning other options. They have a pretty large selection of items - I usually go with a Bacon Egg and Cheese on a bagel. The bagels overall are maybe a 3.5 compared to other bagels, but I'm more of a breakfast sandwich person anyways. If I want just a bagel with spread I'd go to my takeout spot. BEWARE OF LITTLE CRITTERS!! I have gotten a bacon egg and cheese on a roll about 3x and had no issues until today. My boyfriend got me a grilled chicken Caesar salad wrap, I ate the first wrap, the problem was not the taste...when I went to go pick up the other half of the wrap...bugs started coming out of it, 3 little green looking spiders from the top alone. They were very quick and friendly. I had a pumpernickel bagel with 1 egg, cheese and turkey bagel which was good but I do wish there was a little bit more filling for my sandwich. However it was inexpensive and a good fresh bagel. My roommate had an everything bagel with low-fat cream cheese and she was satisfied and was even able to save some for later. I just realized this was the first place I ordered food from when moving to Astoria, I believe it was a waffle breakfast combo. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I got to enjoy the bagels here since my move. There's so many options as far as bagel and spread choice, although I only ever get onion bagels with lox spread. I literally have nothing to complain about; I love that toasted bagels come out perfectly crisp and not too dense and just the -right- amount of spread (a lot of places end up putting too much imo). I once also got an egg sandwich here that wasn't bad at all, even though I'm not a big fan of scrambled egg (I got it bc I needed the protein after a workout). I love their vegan veggie spread (although selfishly I wish there were more varieties) and always order extra. The bagels are always toasted really well. My fav is an everything egg and it's exciting when they have them available. I have ordered a variety of "make your own" sandwiches and they've always gotten the order correctly. It's close to me, I can order online, and they deliver. So usually order online and pickup. The bagels are fine. They don't have gluten free. They have random mini bagel flavors. They run out. And flat bagels. I get a turkey bacon egg and cheese on a bagel and it's about $6. Kinda skimpy on the bacon. Maybe 1-2 slices. The bagels are soft and chewy. Not huge. Not overly doughy. i've been going to this place a while ago. I've always ordered a plain cream cheese with cinnamon raisin bagel. And I never been so disappointed with my order and they always put a lot of cream cheese which I like. I recommend this place for a morning that you do not want to cook and just lay down and be lazy. Bagels and brew is one of my favorite bagel places in nyc.... and I eat a lot of bagels. Not only so they have a great selection of cream cheese (wider than most places.... Like they have herb and garlic which is a rare delight) but the bagels are perfect every time in flavor, crunch, and chew.
