She apparently drank too much on July 4th and our July 5th lesson was cancelled last minute. The instructor we had last was too aggressive with my son to the point where he didn't want to go anymore. It is also wildly overpriced and they are very aggressive with their billing practices. We quit in early September and they wouldn't let the drop take effect until three more bills went through.

I wanted to update my review…read more We had some challenges due to instructor turnover, which was really hard for my child who needs consistency and a higher level of support. I understand that changes happen, but it would mean a lot to families like ours to be informed ahead of time and have a smoother transition. As a special needs family, it's not always easy to find places that can truly accommodate. There are moments I feel defeated and wonder how we'll make things work. That said, I truly appreciate the director for listening, apologizing, and working with us. With the added support, my child is now back to learning how to swim which is so important for her. Thank you for supporting our family.

The pool itself and pool deck are clean. Staff and swimmers are friendly. Changing rooms are not advanced but what I expected for city facilities. The size of the pool is quite impressive and I have had a good experience with lane sharing here too. Overall would recommend as people, prices, and facility are all great.

Over the course of just a couple months of weekly…read morelessons, my son (almost 4) went from not wanting to get in the pool and crying half of the lesson to asking everyday if he had swim lessons everyday and wanting to go to the local pool. My son's teacher, Dakota, made my son feel very comfortable and safe in the pool and got him to do things I never thought he would do - not just put his face in the water but fully submerge his head and float on his back, among many other new skills. Every week he would learn something new. But most of all, my son was so proud of himself after every lesson. And Mom and dad are proud, too! We will definitely be signing up for lessons again next summer, and we will be signing our youngest up for lessons once he is 3!

I will say that he screamed the entire 6 weeks but from all the other babies/toddlers and talking to returning parents, it seemed to be the norm. My baby loved to swim but absolutely HATED to float. What good is a baby who can swim but not float? If something were to happen, I would rather have a screaming baby floating in the pool instead of the alternative. By the completion of our lesson, our baby was able to get into his float after entering the water in multiple different scenarios. He ended it with a 2 minute float, that he was whining through the entire time. It was encouraging to see toddlers who were in their second year with her, they absolutely loved the water and if I didn't know any better I would of assumed their lessons were always that smooth from the beginning. Their parents confirmed that their first year looked just like mine. Kids are resilient and capable of more than we think, it's the parents who put limitations on them.

We absolutely love it here, the kids adore their instructors. In particular our daughter, she looooves her instructor she can't wait to see her each week. They are both now pool safe which was my biggest concern and why we started swim lessons in the first place. I've recommended little swimmers to multiple friends for a few different reasons. One being they have two indoor pools that are nice and warm, no having to worry about shivering kids while they are in the water. The little pool only has 2 kids to a lesson at a time which is amazing, there are no distractions so my daughter really makes use of her 30 minute lesson. Having only the one lesson at a time in the pool is just priceless because you can hear everything and it's not chaotic like other places we've looked at. The larger pool where my son now swims will have another lesson going on but it's not crowded and still only 2 kids to 1 instructor. They get so much one on one time. Finally, my absolute favorite part about little swimmers is that the instructors are responsible and reliable. My kids aren't stuck with people they don't know each week, they've built trust and friendships with their instructors and that is a HUGE part in why they've become so comfortable and safe in the water. I highly recommend Little Swimmers to anyone looking to get their Kiddos pool safe.

We signed up my 3.5 year old for swim class two days in a row thinking it would be a good idea for him to practice his skills consecutively, but he seems to be too tired to do so. They offered we mark him absent for that class and redo the class another day. Rinse off only facility no soap use in shower.
