My fiancé ordered from here through Uber eats. This is regarding their sweet "home made" ice tea. I'm traumatized from a previous spoiled home made ice tea experience years ago in which I realized they make large quantities and store them for an unlimited period of time. Because of this I jokingly told my fiancé I would wait for him to try this one as I vowed I would never drink anything not canned with an expiration date from any Chinese restaurant again. The wonton soup was fine. The chicken in the chicken and broccoli is what you find in all other Chinese fast food establishments. I went and bought rice from all these different Chinese restaurant so that even if the food isn't that good, at least for me (Chinese) the rice is good (which is 50% or more of what I eat in a meal). I use to get my Chinese food from Happy Fortune on Manor road, but I moved on to Tack up the road next to the Donut shop, I moved on to better. Tacks food has lost its quality, use to be not to oily and very tasty, not anymore. Don't be fooled by it's size and say to yourself "Oh no!, not another little hole in the wall Chinese food joint!", because China King really does have the BEST Chinese food on the Island, hands down! EVERYTHING on their menu is so delicious and hey, if you don't see something you would like or want, just ask, they may be able to accommodate your wishes and make what you want! They have made a few dishes that weren't on their menu special for us quite a few times and we have NEVER ever been let down, their staff are real artists! Out family has been eating in and ordering take-out from here for many years now and we have NEVER had anything that wasn't great! Their appetizers all rock! Their brown and yellow and fried rice are all wonderful, and I am NOT really much of a rice eater! Their soups are all really yummy! Both Gen Tso's Chicken or Gen Tso's Shrimp and their mixed Chicken and Shrimp Gen Tso's are all great, probably the BEST there is! Theirs is always just a bit crispy on the outside and yet very tender and tasty on the inside, which IS how you want it to be! It is NEVER dry or flavorless or overdone nor underdone! Also try their "Specialty soups"! We love their Won Ton/Dumpling special and their Yat Gow is the BEST we've ever had! Their Orange Chicken is fantastic and prob our favorite dish next to their Sesame chicken or their Pork or Chicken Dumplings and they make a really awesome Pepper Steak, the beef just melts in your mouth and the flavor is unbelieveable! When we order for delivery the food ALWAYS arrives quickly, fresh and hot and we do NOT even live that close by! Their employees are always so super polite, friendly and professional and that really is such a plus! We have ordered from them so many times for so many years that one time they called US to make sure we were all OK, because we hadn't called to order in about 3 or 4 months due to us having had been on a vacation and than one of us dealt with a long-term illness! What business ever cares about their customers like that? It's almost unheard of! More businesses could learn a lesson from China King and they should all be as caring, considerate and mindful of their clientele, it would make the world a much better place! Very friendly workers here. The parking situation is horrible so I wouldn't want to sit in there, but it's great for takeout. Their vegetables are always very fresh, especially compared to other Chinese restaurants in the area. Also, the sauces taste much fresher and they're not greasy. I usually get steamed broccoli with garlic sauce and they put the sauce on the side in a huge container. I never even use half of it, but it's great to be able to control what goes in. Their food is always fresh though and the rest of my family claims their chicken and broccoli is their favorite.
