Terrible customer service. I went to this location with the soon to be groom to get a head start on looking for tuxes and prices. As soon as we came through the door they asked when he was getting married, and because they felt it was too early in the process for us to be looking at Tuxedos, they refused to assist us. Offered zero assistance and made us feel unwelcome, and frankly uncomfortable. My buddy asked if they allow food on the fitting day for the groomsmen, so we could have a full experience on that day and they responded: "we are not in the restaurant business, we are in the Tuxedo business" What a rude response to new customers excited about looking for tuxedo's. Definitely would not recommend this place. I could see them being even more rude after they have your money. read more

I was leary of ordering a Tux online to close to my wedding day. On my quest to find the perfect tux to match my fiancé's dress. I found Foresto and was delighted with their elegant selections. I called and immediately was scheduled in for an appointment. I met with Joseph and he was very thorough on fitting me for the Tux. It was exactly what I wanted. The best part was that I was able to try on the complete tuxedo. The old school way, how it should be done. Even their shoe selections have great styles. Foresto isn't like other places, that work mostly out of catalogs with limited in store selections. My search is done, I can relax and know that I will be dressed to the nines for my big day!! Great Service, made an appointment with my fiancé to try on tuxedos. We had an idea of what he wanted to wear, but we didn't have enough knowledge on what's best. Gross company with gross tuxedos and gross employees. Shop somewhere else. My tuxedo was falling apart after 2 hours. The buttons were falling off and the shirt was dirty to begin with. Employees make rude comments and think they are funny. Horrible way to run a business. Will post a review everyday. Young employees (over 11) are not wearing masks as well as workers behind the floor. They walk the floor with no concern for customers or anyone else. I am upset I spent $300 here. I used Foresto for my wedding tuxedos in February 2018... they are the gold standard for rental menswear on Long Island and beyond (my wedding was in Queens but their service and product was worth the trip). They did a great job guiding me through Foresto's extensive selection of traditional and modern tuxedos. Fit and style was excellent. They worked seamlessly with other local shops to measure my out-of-town groomsmen and, upon pickup, had a tailor on site to perform size adjustments while we waited. From our first fitting, everyone in my party was taken care of and they made it such an easy process. The staff is beyond friendly and you can tell that everyone has a passion for the business. Everyone was so on top of making sure my guys and I were set for my wedding that they reduced any stress I might have felt, and I am extremely thankful. These guys go above and beyond the call of duty - helping to tailor the suits, to even going out of their way to make pocket squares with a unique fabric for the tuxedos. You can't find that kind of personal touch service anywhere else. If you're thinking about using Foresto - just stop and do it already. They're that good and they won't disappoint. Hands down the best place to go ! My husband went to get fitted with his best man and groomsmen and had the easiest time ever ... of course because there men . The day of the wedding we realized there was a bit of miscommunication when they rented there suits because they didn't receive pocket square because my husband assumed they just came with the suits. Have no fear he called and they weren't even open yet but still answered the phone !! They dropped them off to Westbury Manor within 10 mins. We just dropped off our rentals today and everything went smooth. Everyone was so sweet and nice there. Definitely a must !!!!! read more

Dominic was great for my side of the bridal party. He met with my wife and I, fitting me for a tuxedo in front of her to make sure that not only I was comfortable in my tux, but my wife was satisfied with the way I looked. We ran our color schemes by him for our wedding, and he helped match the colors in a simplistic, yet elegant manner. He was very accommodating and was even able to take measurements for my little ring bearer over the phone. My wife had a bit of a set back with one of his sales associates over the phone. He was a bit rude to her, but we were able to work it out nonetheless. I highly recommend dealing with Dominic for your tuxedo and suit needs. read more

So I went here last September based on a friends recommendation and great reviews. I think the gentlemen who helped me out was named Hank and was really great in helping us pick out the perfect outfit for myself and my groomsman. We set everything up and we were early since the wedding was not until January. I asked Hank if fitting into a tux would be a problem since I am a big guy and said not a problem, I can come in December to try different jackets on. OK, no problem. November comes and my groomsman goes to get fitted and one of them had trouble finding the right fit. He was apparently told "to lose weight" and he will have a better fit. But that was not the problem. The problem was I myself went back to the place in December to try on a few things. After being there for about 20 min, I was told they do not have my size. My size?! I asked you this before I signed up! They then offered me to put me in a suit and my Finance said absolutely not. I was now left scrambling to get a tux last minute for my own wedding. I ended up going to Men's Wearhouse and they got me the perfect tux in no time, with no issues. I was also disappointed that my tux was free at Foresto's and since I had to rent one on my own, they could have given a little bit of a discount for my groomsman or my ring bearer, but didn't. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place due to this poor experience. read more

I live in the city, however, I highly encourage city goers or long island residents looking for their wedding formal wear to go to Foresto Tuxedo. I was lucky enough to be taken care of by the owner, Dominick, and I could not have a more pleasurable experience. He was both humorous and knowledgeable. I had the utmost faith in all his recommendations and was beyond satisfied with the end result. They have a fantastic special; with 8 rentals the groom's is free and the dads' are half price. When we were finishing up and discussing price, I couldn't have found his final price any more reasonable. Do yourself a favor, don't even waste your time dealing with the goons at Men's Warehouse and give Dominick a visit at Foresto Tuxedo, you will not be disappointed. read more

I agree with all the positive reviews of this place. I was lucky enough to have the owner, Mr. Foresto himself, take my measurements and try on the tux style I settled upon. There is no question he knew his business (apparently started by his father). It was a very pleasant experience. When I came to pick up the tux, Joseph showed me how everything fit (that's how much of a tux newbe I looked). When I mentioned my toes would catch on some loose pants stitching, Joe had me hand over the pants while in the dressing room and had the tailor fix that and had the pants repressed right away. The tux felt very comfortable all evening. I also got a fixed price which was lower than that offered by large chain company. I would not hesitate to come back and wholeheartedly recommend this local store. Nice people! I had previously visited 2 other large company clothiers who also rented tux's. I think both companies are owned by the same parent because any tux that is ordered is coming from the same out of state location. One location only had the photos to show me as the one I liked was not in inventory at the store. The salesperson in neither store inspired confidence that I would be appropriately taken care of when it was time to pick up the tux. I also only got an estimated price. They could not be pinned down, which also made me hesitate. Go to Foresto! read more

What a great place- we came here after Men's Wearhouse gave our wedding party the worst measurements that I've ever seen. In and out, and got amazing replacement tux's that were a huge step up in both quality as well as the fit. I would come back here in a heartbeat and would recommend heavily. For a special day you need a special tux, not a something that comes from some warehouse in Texas that's a vague guess at your real measurements. read more

From the moment I stepped into Foresto Tuxedo I knew there was no other option for our wedding Tuxedos. The place has a great family feel to it and the gentlemen are beyond lovely and so helpful. Not only did they cater to my constant changing mind but they also catered to the fact 2 members of the grooms party were international and therefore unable to come in for fittings. I stepped into Foresto with a certain look in mind and they managed to provide me that exact look. The quality of the available tuxedos is fantastic and they provide absolutely everything as part of the rental....even down to the shoes and cufflinks. When I provided a colour swatch of the bridesmaid dresses they gave me an exact match for the groomsmen red ties! Nothing was ever too much and one of the downsides to my wedding being over is not being able to pop into Foresto and see Dominck anymore. I cannot thank you enough for everything! You were all amazing and you are the only place I will consider when needing to rent suits or tuxedos in the future. Decided to use them as an alternative to the bigger, chain outfits. Would highly recommend them for weddings and suit purchases. Very professional and well versed staff. Took the time to go over and then again go through the different options; and express patience and helpfulness in working with my wife involving the colors and what would fit best with the colors of the dresses and flowers. Because of Hurricane sandy the original tuxedo place I chose to use for my wedding was damaged due to the floods. I was recommended to Foresto by the original tuxedo shop because he said it was his friend and he would do a good job. Well that was completely incorrect. In the small business world customer service and helping friends in time of need should be your top priority. Foresto would not honor the tuxedo price I had of $100 with my original tuxedo shop. Foresto insisted they were doing me a favor by providing the tuxedos and not charging me the $200 per tuxedo he normally gets instead he was charging me $125 plus tax. The tuxedo he gave me was a completely different style than what I originally chose and the jacket was to big. I questioned about the jacket and he stated that is the jacket size that was given to him. I may of lost weight since the original measurement and he was in a rush to get me out of the store. I ended up not accepting my tuxedo and the original tuxedo shop was able to provide me with the original tuxedo and the correct jacket size. I will never return to this store nor would I recommend Foresto.
