I was shopping at the Pike with a friend and her daughter and was surprised that they have a men's section! I was actually impressed with their clothing and although I very rarely buy new clothing (thrift store here) they had a nice selection that I would choose from. The stars are for the kind employees, who did help me locate a size in store. As I was shopping out of curiosity I scanned the bar code on the clothing item tag that takes you right to the website listing with the item. The items were much cheaper online (at least $10 per item) and the store wouldn't honor the online price. A little frustrating since the tag is on the item and I wasn't just searching the items online. I ended up purchasing one item but the rest I will buy online to save. read more

Anti BLACK. wish I would have gotten the woman's name- if I go back I will be sure to do so. I am a woman and I went to this location on Friday. It's was extremely chilly and windy outside so I was wearing a hoodie. I'd just came from H&M which is across from Forever 21..so I had a bag in hand. From the moment I walked in the woman left her post behind the register and FOLLOWED ME THROUGH OUT THE STORE under the guise of "I'm just doing my job" I confronted her and asked her why was she following me? Of course she denied it by further saying "I'm sorry if doing my job makes you uncomfortable" I told her "NO YOU FOLLOWING ME IS MAKING ME UNCOMFORTABLE" Stop following me. I even went as far as to go in sections of the store I had no interest just to Test and be sure she was following me and Low and behold there she was "fake fixing clothes on the rack." It's forever 21 the clothes are $2 yet she's playing the role of cashier and security guard? People blow my mind- anything else I will type here will be very disrespectful so I'll stop. For staff or affiliates if you're reading this- your policy is racist and outdated. id like to start by noting that this location of f21 is a forever 21 red; i honestly do not know the difference between this store and other stores, but there must be since the Pike is a more of an outlet type of mall, so perhaps it is cheaper priced? Moving on, the store is very neat as always with its little sections marked and sectioned off. I did notice that the store location is very small, so the aisles that you have to walk through are cluttered and its very easy to run into people and cause awkward situations. I also noticed that they placed the entire accessories section in the middle of the store, which i think is the reason why they don't have that much space; nonetheless, they do have lots and lots of products, especially for the accessories (oh god check my photos), among other things. because this location is at the Pike, i think you would have to go to the parking structure to park and that would be the closest place. you could try street parking (if that's even allowed, I've never done it before) but that could be a further walk for you to haul all your forever 21 things. nothing really stands out at this location to me, other than that it is a forever 21 red section. the workers seem to mind what they're doing and they don't have the interest in you or why you're at the store today unlike other locations where everyone wants to assist you and give you the greatest customer service they can. if you hate your job, don't work there; no point in giving the customer feelings of annoyance and awkwardness. would recommend you come here if there are no other forever 21 locations in the area and you HAVE to hit a f21 for your things. or if you're at the pike and you need to kill some time before your movie starts, come browse here. other than that, I'm pretty sure you can find other places that are at least average to do your shopping. read more

Nice clothes at this location. So many sales people asked if I needed help, it became a bit much. Tons of dressing rooms. Seemed kind of cramped though but I can't see you walking out of here empty handed with all the deals. There are about 15 of every outfit and tons of dresses. Finally!!! A Forever 21 at the Pike! Finally, better shopping options than the City Place! We needed a Forever 21 or some major name brand store in this area, wish this would have happened 10-15 yrs ago, but whatevs, it's here now! This corner of The Pike is now updated and remodeled but for the longest time this corner was collecting cobwebs! My family used to wonder why it was so desolate and dumpy....not anymore! Pics included, went on my lunch break and yay they had a 'soft' opening on Friday, August 14th. As I write this, they will be open until 10pm tonite. The sales staff is very friendly, offering a bag upon entry to put in your clothes, accessories, etc... I saw the fitting rooms off to the right, seems like that is the only one? So much to see, my eyes couldn't take the newness overload. It looks really large on the outside but the inside of this store is a little smaller than the Forever 21 at Lakewood (xxxxx-bambucha big) and 2 story like Cerritos and Del Amo mall Torrance. This F21 mostly has basics such as tanks, shirts, pants, sweaters, etc....there are some trendy items but did not see as much as the other regular Forever 21 stores. If you forgot something while traveling, this store will satisfy your basic needs. They have a men's section, children, plus-size and accessories. Hopefully they will expand the store to the adjoining empty spaces? Hoping for too much but who cares, it's another brand new store at the Pike! Grand opening is for Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 10am. I'm not sure how much the parking is but I imagine you can get validation or something. read more

I went shopping here today with my boyfriend and when I was done browsing around I decide not buying anything when I was about to walk out I knew I had to get my parking sticker validated, the guy at register Robert, said we had to buy something.Weird cause I been shopping there and h&m without purchasing something and got it validated. Tried to try on clothes with my two children (girls ages 10 and 12). 3 items each to try on... Elizabeth (sales associate) gave me two options... to have my children try on clothes by themselves, or leave one child to try on clothes by themselves. No exceptions. I went to this particular store after going to the Aquarium. I usually love Forever 21 and I have been a shopping there for years. At first, my experience was nice. The store was clean, has plenty of merchandise, and all of the discounts were marked off. I was enjoying my shopping experience until, I was ready to check out. So, I get to the register and I noticed that both of the workers looked at my friend and I and turned back around. At first I wondered why no one said anything such as "we'll be right with you" but I let t go. Then, I get called to the register and the worker was fine until I gave her my store credit card that I received from another store. She looked at it and was unsure how to use it so she asked her co worker how to ring me up. She was able to ring me up and I knew I had over $31 on my card. My total came up to be $25.47 and I paid with the store credit card without a problem. She looks over the receipt first then gives it to me. Then, she asks me if I want to "hang onto my card" I looked at her and said of course. Now I knew I had extra money on my card because there was no balance due. I also felt that she looked at my remaining balance and felt compelled to see if I paid attention to her, knowing I knew that there was $7 left on the card. Even though that's a low amount, it's still extra money that either one of us could use. Even though the store is nice, pay attention to what the workers are doing and how they are handling your money. read more

Extremely poor costumer service. The manager AND THE WORKER are an embarrassment to the company. The manager , Latifa... Was confrontational and rude. She behaved like a child and needs to be unemployed. She mocked me in front of her coworkers while I watched. Lorenzo was also very unprofessional. He said, I don't know what you click says, but mine says nine thirty... We're closed. I explained that I wanted to just return a shirt and if he wouldn't have stalled me at the door I would have made it in time to get in line. This location overall is a mess, disorganized and not worth your time. Makes sense considering Latifa is running the place, or at least failing to do so. I had never been to this Forever 21 before today, but I needed some work clothes so I decided to check it out. First impressions is that the store is smaller than I expected and the merchandise isn't worth it. I went to the plus size section and they didn't have anything good. The sections are small but not as trendy as I had hoped. I ended up buying a pair of black jeans (which fit great) and walking around the store. The store seems to just have random clothing in it with little direction or style. When I go to the Forever 21 at The Grove or even the Lakewood Mall all the clothes are better. This store feels like it's just leftovers. They layout is like a maze. You have to make turns and twists just to get around. I couldn't even see the register when I walked in because there was a ton of clothes blocking it. They could have made much better use of their space. Customer service was ok at best. I was not greeted when I walked in nor was I offered any assistance in finding anything. I didn't see a single associate. The poor girl working the register alone wasn't much better. She looked nervous and couldn't handle the line of people in front of her. A woman (who I'm assuming was a manager) didn't jump in to help or anything. I hope this Forever 21 gets itself together. Went there during the weekend and stopped inside because I saw a shirt in the window that I wanted. I looked all over the store and couldn't find it. "No, problem, I'll just ask for help," I thought. Nope. There were maybe three employees there, one in the fitting find, one as a cashier, and the third was a girl folding clothing so slow I think the entire time I was there she folded one shirt. She was behind a register in a wall of clothing so getting her attention did not happen. Listen, I was once an apathetic teen-early twenty-something, but if you're going to hire apathetic staff at least hire more. Others were also others looking for staff. I just ended up leaving. I'll agree with another reviewer that the prices here aren't different and the selection isn't any better than your neighborhood Forever 21. read more

I'm not really a fan since F21 is more geared towards kids and teens that can manage to fit into any of their items. In addition, the fabric is cheap, so while their roomy rayon tops flatter for a short period of time, I stopped purchasing clothing after they seem to rip or get holes in them near the seams. This F21 is located in the popular Pike Outlets across from the Convention Center. Everything is packed in here but the layout is easy to navigate. I had the best experience in customer service at this store. Kyle went above and beyond in assisting me with a problem I had with a gift card. I lost my gift card that my husband bought to cheer me up after having a baby. My clothes just did not fit me the same and he was sweet to surprise me with a gift card to go on a little shopping spree. Unfortunately I lost the card but had the receipt of purchase. He assisted me in helping me reclaim my gift and allowed me to make my purchases that o desperately needed. I was living in gym pants for a almost two months. Not only was he helpful but he was understanding and kind. Great customer service goes a long way, and its employees like that who make a person have a pleasant shopping experience and returning customers. Big big thank you to Harmony who saw me struggling to find what I was looking for (a phone charger) in the store and when we discovered the store didn't have one she directed me to 2 other potential stores in close proximity. She was lovely and professional and even took it to the next level and when I returned with a charger, let me sit on the floor in the corner to charge up my phone so I wasn't left on the metro back to DTLA without a phone. In fact, every employee treated me with great respect and no one was annoyed that I wasn't actually shopping in the store. I had shoes that were strapped wrong for one of my shoes and the shoe was final sale. They went out of their way to help me. They laced my shoe up for me and made sure my needs were met. I had the horrible experience of speaking to a manager by the name of "Charles". I gave my son my credit card as an authorized buyer. He had all the information the corporate office told me he needed to make a purchase on my card( his ID and my personal information ) until his card arrived. He was denied service for no apparent reason. I spoke to the manager "Charles" who told me he don't know why the cashier denied him service. I asked was it because he was possibly racially profiled? He said no that's not the reason because I'm black. I told him although you are black you were not the cashier who did denied him service.I told him was so upset I was thinking about cancelling out my credit card. He told me go right ahead and cancel it out, it's no big deal. He stopped being cocky when I advised him he was being recorded. What a horrible way to treat your customers.
