He visited once for his initial sizing and returned a second time for his final fitting. Despite this, when we arrived at the wedding destination in Utah, we discovered that they had given him the wrong tie. When we realized we had received the wrong tie, I called immediately to explain the situation. An older woman answered the phone and repeatedly talked over me. She was completely rude and made me feel as though I was being dramatic for being upset. From the beginning, she made it clear that there was nothing she would be able to do. I told her that I would come back and address the issue once I returned to California. When I followed up after returning from Utah, they offered a $17 discount, even though my boyfriend had to purchase a new tie for approximately $65. The entire purpose of having a group number is to make the process simple and ensure everyone receives the correct items. We are both very busy and trusted that the company would follow the order details associated with that number. Unfortunately, they failed to do so and then refused to take meaningful responsibility for their mistake. Our experience was extremely frustrating, and I would not recommend this location.

I left with a skirt, which was nice. BUT I tried on a dress here and got stuck in it. My chest is large and got stuck in a dress. When I managed to get out of the dress (with hubby's help), I told the sales girl it didn't fit over my chest. And Lil Miss Training Bra herself says, "yeah, I can relate...that happens to me sometimes!" I don't think she's ever been stuck in clothing! Nice attempt at empathy, but get real. read more

**8/16/24** I called this location around 12pm to double check for a specific fannypack & the employee here was so helpful & kind. The guy that helped me doubled checked the item, called me back, & even hold it off for me while I got there. Extremely Disappointing Customer Service…read more This was honestly one of the worst customer service experiences I've had at a shoe store. I came in ready to purchase work boots, but the service was extremely slow and frustrating. Employees were requiring customers to digitally measure their feet and provide personal information, including an email address, before moving forward with the purchase. When customers questioned the process, employees made it seem like they had no choice and that they could potentially lose their jobs if they didn't follow the procedure. One employee even showed me a PMA/ILWU voucher from another customer as proof that customers are supposedly required to have their feet measured before purchasing. I understand that certain safety-footwear programs may have fitting requirements, but the way this was handled felt unnecessarily complicated and made the purchasing experience extremely frustrating. As a customer who was ready to spend money and purchase what I needed, I shouldn't have to feel like I'm being given a hard time just to buy a pair of boots. Red Wing may make quality boots, but based on this experience, the customer service at this location definitely needs improvement. Corporate should seriously consider retraining the staff on customer service and how these programs should be handled. After this experience, I ended up not purchasing any boots from red wing. I've decided to purchase ARIAT Boots instead. Very disappointed.
