Shrimp fried rice hold the roach please

Ordered shrimp fried rice and it had a roach in it. I have been a customer over 5 years this never happened before but it shouldn't happen EVER.

    Bun Bo hue

A very casual place with a very westernized and fast-food like layout of the menu. There is not much variety but it's got the basics- beef, chicken, seafood, vegetable pho. It even has "spicy hue pho" aka bun bo hue and some rice plate and vermicelli options. I ordered their egg rolls and spicy hue pho with chicken. Egg rolls came hot and well-seasoned. The broth tasted okay, but was a bit heavy on the fish sauce and could've had more depth. The portion size is decent, but I did find the price to be a tad bit pricey considering the area. Not a bad option if you're close, but you could find better if you ventured out a little further.

I have nothing to hate about this place. They have amazing food. I tried their vegan pho combo for dinner. It came with two summer rolls. The pho was very nice and I shared some with my husband. The broth was flavorful and veggies was simple and delicious. My older son loved the summer rolls. Will definitely be going back to try some more food from the menu.

    Beef Pho

I've been coming here for maybe 8 years? The beef Pho is consistently top notch. We all need to support family owned restaurants like these. Food came out piping hot in less than 3-4 minutes. Highly recommend!

    Veggie bowl with complimentary maggot

My daughter and I went out for Pho There was a maggot in her bowl and they refused to comp our meal. They only gave me a refund for the bowl of soup that had the maggot. The dept of health has been notified.

    Is the Pho gluten free?

Yes! The rice noodles they use are gluten free, the only thing that wouldn't be is certain sauces (hoisin, soy sauce, really anything that isn't sriracha or chili sauce) and meatballs if they use them.

The biggest issue for us was the ordering system. Everyone has to scan a QR code, place their own order, and enter their phone number. For a large group, this became very confusing because when the food came out, there was no clear way to tell who ordered what. We spent a lot of time trying to figure out which dishes belonged to each person. If you're coming with a big party, I definitely recommend making a list of everyone's orders ahead of time so it's easier to organize when the food arrives. The food itself was extremely spicy. Most of the BBQ items -- seafood, chicken, beef, and pork -- seemed to have the same heavy cumin and spicy seasoning, so the flavors started tasting very similar. Personally, that wasn't for us. However, the soy sauce fried rice and the cold noodles were really good and stood out the most from the meal. The service was good overall, although communication was a little difficult at times because it was hard to understand the staff's accents. The restaurant itself was clean and well kept. I think this place may work much better for smaller groups, but for our large party it was stressful and the food flavors were too repetitive for our taste. Unfortunately, it's probably not somewhere we would return to. Also they added 25% tip mandatory without mentioning it anywhere ; It was an experience though

Excellent service despite having no reason to, since we ordered through a qr code located on the tables. I don't write about customer service unless it was genuinely something that was worth telling people. He gave us a good rundown of the situation of the restaurant and provided an in-depth explanation of the menu for my first time there. He gave us plenty of options to choose from and explained what consisted in each of the dishes. Which helped us ultimately make our choices and I enjoyed every single dish. The interior was well decorated with modern/futuristic reflective aesthetics. A great touch that made me love it even more was the dimming bags put over the spotlights adorned around the ceiling to help cut down on glare and make it a bit more comfortable to enjoy the atmosphere. The mixed vegetable salad was a very pleasant blend of sweet, savory, and Sichuan spice. I originally was going for the cucumber but I was interested in more variety and opted to try more of what they had to offer. It still hit as a refreshing appetizer to complement our other dishes. 9/10 The black pepper noodles were actually amazing with how it balanced out a lot of strong, potentially overwhelming flavors. The black pepper was perfectly seasoning the fiery stir fried bell pepper and noodles. The beef played a great supporting role to elevate the dish without making it all about itself. 8.5/10 The Number 1 rice noodles in soup was powerful without being indulgent. The flavors hit hot and hard but still savory and tastefully diverse. Jin recommended it as the noodles have a very pleasant chew and had a diverse plating with bok choy, pickled mustard, and an egg to top it off. 8.5/10 Overall I enjoyed this place completely and will 100% return when I come back to Texas.

On both occasions, we started with the spring rolls (grilled pork during our first visit and shrimp during our second visit), and these are fresh and delicious with the peanut sauce it comes with! Unfortunately, they did forget our shrimp spring rolls on our second visit and we had to ask for it after we had both received our bowls of pho... Now onto the main dishes. My fiance has ordered the special combination pho on both occasions and he loves it. This bowl comes packed with different meats, and the broth here is really good. I've had the BBQ & wonton egg noodles and the pho with eye of round steak / flank / tripe. While I loved my bowl of pho (no notes), I do wish the bowl of BBQ & wonton egg noodles was a bit more flavorful. Think I will likely stick to their pho in the future since that's definitely the tried and true :)
