My experience was the complete opposite and I would recommend this salon to anyone! I was interested in a consultation for extensions and had first made an appointment with someone off Stone Oak Pkwy who actually ghosted me THREE times with no apology, no valid explanation - I took time off work for her each time, and each time I showed up, the doors were locked with a note that she had to leave. No phone call, no apology, nothing. Someone then recommended Benjamin and Desiree, the extensions expert, to me and I was able to get in the same day. She was very helpful and thoroughly explained my options, and I decided to go with a topper instead since my hair is pretty thin. She had the topper ready for me in a day, much quicker than even she had estimated. I went to pick it up and she taught me everything I needed to know about placement, care, and styling of the piece. She also trimmed and styled it to make it blend in with my natural hair, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome! No on can even tell it's a topper, but they do notice I've done something "different" and give me many compliments. Even the stylists at my regular salon were amazed at how good and natural it looks after I went in to show them. The staff are all friendly and accommodating, the salon is very clean and minimalistic in design, but comfortable. I cannot praise and thank Desiree enough for the service she provided me, and I will definitely go back to Benjamin Hair & Co, especially for addressing my thinning hair. Truly the best! From the start, I communicated my concerns clearly and politely, expressing that the highlights didn't turn out the way I had hoped. I was told I could come back to have more highlights added, especially on my new growth, and while I was initially willing to give her a second chance, things only went downhill from there. Upon my appointment, I was only charged for the haircut and the products used, with the understanding that I would pay the remaining balance when the job was finished. The next day, however, I received a call from Kersten saying that she felt unable to achieve the results I wanted and suggested I find another stylist. This is completely unprofessional--no experienced or competent stylist would simply give up on a client's request like that. Instead of working with me to fix the issue, she abandoned me with dark roots that were left visible for four inches and avoided highlighting my bangs altogether. The result looked nothing like the blended, sun-kissed highlights I requested; instead, I was left with a harsh, dark rooted look that was far from what I asked for. I have never encountered a stylist so unwilling to correct a mistake, especially when it could have been easily fixed with a few additional highlights. The lack of effort and unwillingness to ensure my satisfaction was beyond frustrating. I would not recommend Kersten to anyone. She should have done everything in her power to make things right, but instead, she left me feeling completely ignored and dissatisfied with my hair. If I could leave 0 star review I would! To make matters worse, even the salon owner Diane failed to take any responsibility for the situation. It is clearly stated in the salon's own policy that if a client is unhappy, they will be given the opportunity to have the issue corrected. That promise was completely disregarded. Despite my efforts to address the problem respectfully and through the proper channels, no one took accountability--not even the person in charge. This is absolutely unacceptable and speaks volumes about the lack of professionalism and customer care within this establishment. To allow an incompetent colorist to botch a service and then do nothing to rectify it is not only unprofessional, it's downright negligent. This entire experience was a nightmare, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone!!

She left with a bottle of purple shampoo that she had to pay extra for. Why would we need to purchase product if the hair is done correctly in the first place we shouldn't need this! 4 the owner refused to refund any money and or nor did anything to make it right! She was charged over $300 for terrible results. BTW the website pricing states highlights start at $145. She was charged $50 for a teeny tiny trim that took less than 5 minutes and was trimmed with dry hair and was also charged extra for toner... somehow her services ended up over $300. If your staff makes a mistake you should do what it takes to fix it even if that means doing it yourself! I understand that hair prices are what they are but the customer walking out spending over $400 and hating the results is not righ! This experience has brought my daughter to tears! Turns out the first stylist only put toner in my hair so it lightened back up and turned a muddy green color after only 10 days!!!! Not only that but the layers I had asked for previously, weren't blended and done beautifully. I felt horrible having to complain about service I had received but Steph assured me that she would fix it and I would leave happy. And boy did she deliver!!! I've never been so happy with my hair!!!
