Tried out T.J. Hooligans for their happy hour after work and was presently surprised! The space has a fun vibe to it - open, high ceilings, and unique decor. I was expecting it to be more of a drab, dark bar vibe and it was not that! They also have a nice outdoor patio to enjoy in warm weather. The staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful! We split the fried pickles and nachos amongst three of us for our appetizers and not only were the portions great but the food was also super tasty! The fried pickles came in spears (which personally is my favorite for the ultimate pickle to breading ratio) with ranch as the dipping sauce and they were delicious! We also had the nachos with chicken on the side and these were a hit as well. I tried the drink of the week which was an apple cider spiced Moscow mule and it was super tasty! A great casual spot to meet up for some good food and drinks with friends!

Found out about this place at taste of Eden Prairie. Loves the samples that they were giving away so me and some of my colleagues stopped by for happy hour and some grub. What a gem! We all enjoyed our food and lucky me - they have cajun pasta! As the resident expert on the topic - I'd vote yes for some great flavor and a decent hint of spice (not overwhelming). Love the breadstick on the side. If you read my reviews, I always like when the cajun pasta option has peppers and onions. Hooligan's 's both boxes. Trendy interior decor and a nice little patio for when the weather cooperates. I LOVE the location as there aren't a ton of options in the area/on my drive home for decent food/beer and this place does both well. We'll be back!

They like to close early so we haven't been able to make it here until now but the service was really good and the patio is nice. Philly cheese steak sandwich and Caesar side salad. The salad was huge! Smash burger was good too and fries are amazingggg Also had a Bloody Mary but it tasted like watered down vodka with tomato, but had a nice garnish with a pretzel. Margarita was really good! Happy hour till 5:30 and events every couple days like music bingo.

Unfortunately, this place falls flat. It's usually empty and the energy is just... boring. We are regulars at a few nearby places and were hoping this would be a nice addition to our rotation. Sadly, it seems as though no one knows about this place because they do zero advertising -- even the countless apartments and businesses nearby have no concept this place exists. It seems they thought because their Prior Lake location is popular, that they would command such demand in Eden Prairie with zero advertising or brand presence. Recently stopped in and the bartender mentioned they were not a bartender. A couple regulars at the bar but 95% empty on a Saturday night. There really isn't an identity to this place. It's not that it is "bad" I just wouldn't go out of my way to stop here.

This place opened a few months ago in what had been a longstanding, well known and goto place for a quality meal experience. It had been a higher-end restaurant. TJ Hooligan's opened its second location in this space as an American bar /restaurant experience. They simply threw up some beer/alcohol banners and posters on the walls and reopened the doors. Ambiance is so-so as it has high end fans and lights over an austere set of high/low top tables. The food is decent bar food and they have maintained the wood-fired pizza grill. Unfortunately the management felt like "open the doors and they will come". Generally that has not worked. I've visited twice, and the first time I never went in as it was empty and I figured it hadn't opened yet. They are located in the midst of office spaces and many apartment buildings within 1/2 mile and they simply won't advertise-it is the oddest thing. A few fliers delivered to the buildings and apartments in the area, along with a plan & concept of "who they are" would be huge for this place to help them get established. Friendly staff and bartenders, but the "why we are here" message hasn't yet resonated with me, or sadly the community.

First time trying this since I had a coupon, the service was good but the food is a little pricey as I was expecting the portions to be bigger. I got a chicken sandwich and my friend got pasta, both were lacking a bit of flavor but they were alright. I liked the fried though they were crispy and soft on the inside.

We came in to check out the new restaurant and was not disappointed. The decor is simple and uncluttered. There are many TVs with sports on. Our food came out on good time and was delicious! The fries came in a cute basket, a great presentation. The only thing we weren't crazy about was that our beers were served in a Mason jar. Our server Leah was accommodating and got my husband an empty water glass to pour his beer into. We will be sure to go back.

Understaffed and the food was just ok. I had the patty melt and had to add salt to give it flavor. Unimpressive, as I had high hopes!

I immediately started looking at coffee shops that I could relocate to in order to work. I had been wanting to go try Smiths for a while but the opportunity just never presented itself despite being just down the road. I arrived and the driveway leading to the parking lot was lined with cars, but I was able to find a spot in the parking lot after a minute or so. It was definitely a full lot for sure. The location is absolutely adorable as this is a historic house. It was once a Dunn Brothers, but I do love that it is its own thing now rather than a chain. They had a outdoor patio that people were enjoying but it was a bit chilly for working and sitting outside, one person even had a dog which I LOVE! Inside the front door you are greeted with a welcoming counter that you can order. I opted to try the salted caramel iced latte. If you are consuming there (which I was) they give you a number to bring to your table and they bring the drink. I really liked this idea especially in the aspect of not having to stand and wait for a drink. The price was a bit high (7.55 for a 16 oz with $1 tip), but then again everything is getting expensive these days. I walked back to the seating area and there are essentially 3 rooms downstairs, I walked through all 3 to see where working would be ideal. I went upstairs but there was a woman in the room so I assumed it was a group that was meeting or something so I opted to not investigate further. I found seating downstairs in what felt like the quietest part, but there were a lot of people there talking and the acoustics were not exactly fantastic. I did have a call which I took via teams and air pods and discovered the sound in the room was actually really not awesome for a meeting as it was quite loud and the wifi was not strong enough to support the video on the teams call. So would I recommend working from Smith, not if you have a meeting, but if you are looking for a place that has some background noise, I guess... However this is certainly a place that is perfect for meeting someone and enjoying breakfast or coffee and I love that. I did not order food this time, but everything I saw get delivered looked delicious. I also noticed they have a pizza night on Thursday nights and immediately made a note of that for a date night with the hubby.

We got 2 appetizers and each got an entree. The cauliflower wings were good but the larger ones still had raw batter on the inside. The deviled egg scotch eggs had good flavor, but the deviled egg yolk texture was a little weird to wrap our brains around. My friend didn't much care for her sandwich but I thought the pepperoni flatbread was quite good. The chef pushed back a bit on my wanting to add fresh mozarella for obvious reasons, but the reason he was pushing back was the reason I actually wanted it on there lol. The server was knowledgeable and helpful. Made a mistake but fixed it pretty quick, no big deal. But my biggest complaint was the lighting. The lights directly above the table were SO BRIGHT! Made it feel like an airport lounge and actually gave me a bit of a headache. Definitely kept us from being able to relax and enjoy our food and drinks because we felt like there was a constant spotlight on us. We will probably come back at some point, but because you can't really feel like you can relax it will probably be a little bit.

With the three off us, it was a 2-1 split in favor of lunch. My wife had the Southwest Grain Bowl which she proclaimed was excellent. Her sister opted for brunch and enjoyed her Avocado Toast. I ordered the Margarita Flatbread and really enjoyed it. The flatbread had balsamic drizzled on the top which gave a taste I've never experienced with a Margarita pizza. The large, roasted tomatoes also added a nice touch and taste. Good service is almost becoming a standard in most restaurants we go to and it was certainly evident here. All in all, an enjoyable meal.

Ordered the Boujee Bene which tried to be an elevated dish of tequila flambéed shrimp ceviche on arepas topped with poached eggs and hollandaise. The arepas were actually bland masa corn cakes, so they were thick and dense with no crispness or browning. I asked the server about this and she confirmed they no longer made arepas but hadn't updated the menu. This could have been forgiven if the rest of the dish had any flavor beyond raw onion and garlic. The hollandaise had no flavor either, and they had no salsas or anything else to add other than tobacco and Chahula. The shrimp was minimal and also bland. There was a corn "salsa" (also bland) so that added some texture, but the dish overall was quite disappointing.
