My wife and I were out for our weekly new restaurant in the Twin Cities and opted for this newish Sports Bar. The place is pretty big but only about 8 people were there when we went in at 12:15 on a Sunday. Our server came over quickly when we sat down with our menus, and she was super nice. They were out of my first choice of an IPA, but they had Surly Furious as a nice backup. I ordered the big 32oz, followed by a 16 ounce mason jar later on. Solid Twin Cities flagship beer. I ordered a Cuban with a side salad, which I was glad I was able to substitute and my wife got the steamed vegetables. Lots of pork on the Cuban, could have used some more pickle and mustard, but it was plenty good and the pork was juicy. Good loaf of sandwich bread as well. Her steamed vegetables were fresh looking and tasted good and the Caesar salad was great size and not too drenched in dressing. It was really good with plenty of croutons to top it off. We took home half the salad and veggies and I made a great wrap with it the next day with a chicken brat. Really good sports bar, make sure to check it out! read more

Good food! We accidentally came in the middle of Sunday bingo, so service was a bit slow, but food came fast once we got our order in. I appreciate the variety of options on the menu. Seemed like bingo was enjoyable so definitely will be back to play sometime! read more

Service was amazing. I got the hooligan punch and it was yummy! They do Bingo Friday and it's all the vibes in there. I got the sidewinder fries with the beer cheese and that was amazing! The fried pickles weren't as good and people hyped them up to be. My friend got the Cajun chicken pasta and really liked that. I'd definitely go back. Tried out T.J. Hooligans for their happy hour after work and was presently surprised! The space has a fun vibe to it - open, high ceilings, and unique decor. I was expecting it to be more of a drab, dark bar vibe and it was not that! They also have a nice outdoor patio to enjoy in warm weather. The staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful! We split the fried pickles and nachos amongst three of us for our appetizers and not only were the portions great but the food was also super tasty! The fried pickles came in spears (which personally is my favorite for the ultimate pickle to breading ratio) with ranch as the dipping sauce and they were delicious!We also had the nachos with chicken on the side and these were a hit as well. I tried the drink of the week which was an apple cider spiced Moscow mule and it was super tasty! A great casual spot to meet up for some good food and drinks with friends! read more

Found out about this place at taste of Eden Prairie. Loves the samples that they were giving away so me and some of my colleagues stopped by for happy hour and some grub. What a gem! We all enjoyed our food and lucky me - they have cajun pasta! As the resident expert on the topic - I'd vote yes for some great flavor and a decent hint of spice (not overwhelming). Love the breadstick on the side. If you read my reviews, I always like when the cajun pasta option has peppers and onions. Hooligan's 's both boxes. Trendy interior decor and a nice little patio for when the weather cooperates. I LOVE the location as there aren't a ton of options in the area/on my drive home for decent food/beer and this place does both well. We'll be back! read more

They like to close early so we haven't been able to make it here until now but the service was really good and the patio is nice. Philly cheese steak sandwich and Caesar side salad. The salad was huge! Smash burger was good too and fries are amazingggg Also had a Bloody Mary but it tasted like watered down vodka with tomato, but had a nice garnish with a pretzel. Unfortunately, this place falls flat. It's usually empty and the energy is just... boring. We are regulars at a few nearby places and were hoping this would be a nice addition to our rotation. Sadly, it seems as though no one knows about this place because they do zero advertising -- even the countless apartments and businesses nearby have no concept this place exists. It seems they thought because their Prior Lake location is popular, that they would command such demand in Eden Prairie with zero advertising or brand presence. Recently stopped in and the bartender mentioned they were not a bartender. A couple regulars at the bar but 95% empty on a Saturday night. There really isn't an identity to this place. It's not that it is "bad" I just wouldn't go out of my way to stop here. read more

This place opened a few months ago in what had been a longstanding, well known and goto place for a quality meal experience. It had been a higher-end restaurant. TJ Hooligan's opened its second location in this space as an American bar /restaurant experience. They simply threw up some beer/alcohol banners and posters on the walls and reopened the doors. Ambiance is so-so as it has high end fans and lights over an austere set of high/low top tables. The food is decent bar food and they have maintained the wood-fired pizza grill. Unfortunately the management felt like "open the doors and they will come". Generally that has not worked. I've visited twice, and the first time I never went in as it was empty and I figured it hadn't opened yet. They are located in the midst of office spaces and many apartment buildings within 1/2 mile and they simply won't advertise-it is the oddest thing. A few fliers delivered to the buildings and apartments in the area, along with a plan & concept of "who they are" would be huge for this place to help them get established. Friendly staff and bartenders, but the "why we are here" message hasn't yet resonated with me, or sadly the community. read more

We came in to check out the new restaurant and was not disappointed. The decor is simple and uncluttered. There are many TVs with sports on. Our food came out on good time and was delicious! The fries came in a cute basket, a great presentation. The only thing we weren't crazy about was that our beers were served in a Mason jar. First time there with my son for happy hour. The person waiting on us didn't try too hard to be pleasant and referred to me by "Dear". Their happy hour special was 1.00 off appetizers so nothing special. My son got the French dip and I got the boom boom shrimp. They were alright but we both said we wouldn't order again. The wait staff waited until we were finished and ready for the check before asking if I wanted a refill on my drink Which I declined then she took a good five minutes to bring the check even though the place was not busy at all. I was working right across the street on a project and 2 coworkers invited me to join them for dinner. They had picked the place so it wasn't like I had a choice but to cone here (other than say I wouldn't be joining them). Well...they picked a winner! The place was nearly empty when we arrived shortly after 4pm but had filled up before we left. All in the party were very satisfied with the meals. I had the chicken bacon ranch wrap with the twisty (can't remember what they called them?) fries. The wrap was fresh and the fries were unique. Both very good. One coworker had the fish and chips and was super happy with her order (after being disappointed with fish and chips at so many other places). The other had a smash burger and was pleased as well. Came here on a weekday and sat outside. The server was attentive and friendly. I ordered the italian sandwich and sidewinders. The sandwich was good but not sure why it came with marinara sauce. This is more a of sub type sandwich with italian dressing on it. Sandwich was filling and a bit messy but I ate it all. I dipped my sidewinders in the marinara sauce a couple times and was like meh. Such a nice new addition to the area! I love how they've cleaned up the interior. Everything feels clean and welcoming - I think it'll be a great place for regulars! A group of us were seated quickly and greeted by our friendly server. We ordered a variety of apps & snacks, but especially loved the cheese curds and cookie sundae dessert. We went to T. J.'s for takeout food. It was our first time, so we decided on appetizers thinking if you can't succeed on appetizers, there must be issues. We had looked on line but couldn't find this location, so we looked at the menu for Prior Lake. We made some choices but when I went in to order some menu items weren't available at this location. We wanted the flat bread, but I settled for a thin crust pizza. It was disappointing it lacked flavor and each added item was $1 but the vegetables were more heavily represented than the meats. We wouldn't recommend the pizza. Next we tried the boneless wings, they were fine but overpriced. The wings at Applebees are as good but less expensive. We next ordered the fried pickles, they were spears. We prefer chips, but gave them a try anyway. The pickles were flavorful and juicy and the breading was good. The last item was the breaded mushrooms. They were okay, the breading was a little heavy and the "special" sauce wasn't very special and we did not like it. This is a new restaurant but there was no remodeling from the previous tenant. Even considering today's economy, it was an expensive but unsatisfying experience. We tried it and it failed. read more

While the food was better/fresher than the majority of bar food, it was still bar food. That's fine; just know that the menu is the same as everywhere else.
