I usually love Paulie Gee's Short North, which made this experience especially disappointing. We…read morespent over $80 on a to-go order that included two Gina's Gem, a big cheese pizza, and a salad. The pizza arrived cold but was still edible. Unfortunately, the Gina's Gem was nothing like what was advertised. I was expecting warm, crusty bread with a roasted cheese dip on the side so you could tear pieces of bread and dip them into the cheese. Instead, the cheese had already been spread directly onto the bread and toasted together. Because of that, the bread lost the texture you would expect--it wasn't crusty or dippable at all. It ended up soft, almost soggy, and the cheese was baked onto the bread rather than being a dip. The whole appeal of the dish was supposed to be the warm bread with the roasted cheese to dip into, and that part was completely missing. Included with the bread was a hot honey that missed the mark on being "hot" and some kind of jam. These options just made everything even more soft....which should have been impossible. The salad was actually the best part of the meal - even though it was a bit spicy. I've always had good experiences here in the past, so this was a big letdown--especially for the price. I just wish the to-go version of the dish matched how it's described, or that expectations were set correctly when ordering. Unfortunately, this experience made me lose all trust in ordering from here again. I can't believe we waited until exactly 3pm (when they opened) to order this.... At the very least the pizza should have been hot.

We came to Grandview Theater to try Fibonacci's pizza while seeing the new Michael Jackson movie…read more We ordered a pizza and one of their sandwiches, which is made using the pizza dough. The sandwich was honestly the highlight of the meal. It was delicious, and the pizza dough as the bread was such a unique touch that you really don't find at many Italian sandwich spots around Columbus. The pizza itself was just okay. As you can see from the picture, the toppings weren't distributed very evenly, so some slices had mostly sauce with barely any cheese while others had way more toppings and cheese but less sauce. I also wish the pizza had been cooked a little longer overall because it was pretty floppy and doughy. One thing that makes it tough is that once the movie starts, it's hard to go back and ask for changes or anything since the theater is packed and getting in and out of the seats feels disruptive. We'll definitely be back to Grandview Theater because we love the experience overall, but next time I'll probably stick to the sandwiches and popcorn and skip the pizza.

I tried half of the Licensed to Dill which was just okay. Pickles on pizza isn't really my thing. Pesto on pizza wasn't really my thing either, but having half of a an Ecto Pesto changed my mind. Perhaps the chicken and bacon on the pie was what I really liked, but the point is that it all came together surprisingly well. It definitely gave me hope for the more meat-heavy pizza options that I tend to prefer.

It's a bar with a movie theatre and pizza place attached? Or is it a theatre with a pizza place and bar? Who knows?

The food does take some time, so be ready to wait and maybe grab a drink while you hang out. The pizza was really good, but definitely on the heavier side. Wings were decent. You ever walk into a place and think, there's no way something special is hiding in here?…read more Yeah....That was me. An old tavern in Columbus. Dim. Historic. The kind of spot where you expect a solid beer and maybe some decent bar food. What you don't expect? One of the best Detroit-style pizzas of your life hiding behind a window in the back like some carb-based speakeasy. And when I say hidden, I mean hidden. No flashy signage. No "best pizza in town" ego. Just a quiet little window cranking out square pies that deserve a standing ovation. I ordered the classic red top -- already a bold move -- and added pesto because balance matters and I like to live a little. The result? Beyond reproach. Fresh, loaded toppings. Sauce with depth. And that crust... that beautiful Detroit crust. Crispy edges with that caramelized cheese halo, but still chewy and pillowy inside. The textural contrast is what separates amateurs from legends -- and this? This was legend-level execution. Easily top 3 Detroit-style pizzas I've had. And that's not a casual statement. If you don't understand the life-altering power of true Detroit-style pizza, I regret to inform you... you have not been living. Go find the window in the back. Trust me.

I only had one of their Indian pizzas - the Chicken Tikka Masala - but if I had the stomach capacity, I would try several more. Along side the pizza, I had the Chilli Manchurian. This one had some REAL spice to it, so know what you're getting yourself into before ordering. It's good if you can handle the spice or dilute in with some rice like I did after getting home. Don't sleep on the sauces either. You will absolutely thank me if you get the Tandoori Ranch.

Zero wait because we went on a rainy Friday afternoon. There are picnic tables without shade/umbrellas if you wanted to eat on premises though. We placed our order and waited in the car. It didnt take long at all which was a plus, also. However I took a start off because neither of the employees (both men) weren't very friendly. I don't ever expect much, but I expect the minimum beyond getting my order correct. With that said, here's what we got and what we think! Veggie samosas: 11/10. Holy moly these are the absolute best samosas I've ever had. They outshone the very good pizza. I'd eat 50 of them! Seriously I will go for the samosas alone. They're big, perfectly fried, and filled with the best mashed veg filling, very reminiscent of mashed potatoes. The spicy dipping sauce was like a branston pickle (a spicy vinegary sauce). Half and half Paneer Makhani/Butter Chicken (regular spice level) with a side of Tandoori Ranch sauce: Solid pizza in every way. We both liked the Paneer Makhani a touch more. Neither was spicy at all - next time I will bump up the spice. I loved how chewy the dough is! I get why people say it is a bit on the unsaucy side because it is. That didn't bother me at all, though. The ranch dipping sauce was really flavorful and a nice compliment! Definitely want to try more pizza flavors now. They do have a special for any pizza with 2 samosas and 2 sodas for $26. Good deal if you ask me. You can upgrade to a mango lassi for a couple bucks more. I will try that next time too!
