I love the happy hour! $9 arancini with dungeness crab. $5 for any of their pours. I like the way their tables are arranged ! some of the big tables are cafeteria style.

    Beer!

I have had many delicious Fort Point beers and was glad to be stopping by during happy hour. It was packed on the Wednesday ahead of Thanksgiving. I will say that there were a lot of positives to the visit. The happy hour is great, there were a lot of beer options, and the happy hour snacks I tried were really yummy. The graphic design was cool and its location on Valencia is perfect for going to a concert, shopping, etc. During the visit there were also some challenges. There are a ton of large round tables at the front and often small groups take up most of them and they aren't the easiest to share. It was so busy that there was only one large table available at the back, filled with empty glasses and plates, and no where to bus them to. I tried to find a person to ask about the table and everyone was busy. Thankfully a two top became available and we sat there. I imagine due to the fact it was happy hour and the day before Thanksgiving was why it was both so busy and staff were swamped. Visit for great beer, typically a ton of space to hang out, and yummy food!

Visited my on Friday around 5pm with a friend for happy hour. Bar was fairly busy, most tables were taken but was able to snag a spot by the window in a booth. Space is open and spacious with several smaller tables and larger tables that seems to be shared by groups which was nice. Drinks: Primo - light, crisp and refreshing a great light beer if you are want something easy to sip on Food: seafood platter - fresh oyster which were delicious great balance of clean salinity, shrimp cocktail was okay shrimp was a tad rubbery but appreciated the cocktail sauce for dipping, swan crudo was solid, thicker slices of salmon dressed with olive oil and capers, wish fish was a bit thinner but tasty Rice a roni arancini - solid, fried crisp and golden brown on the exterior, interior creamy risotto with pieces of crab flavor was faintly reminiscent of rice a roni, had a slight cheese pull which was fun Service was good, order at the counter and grab your draft pours, a number is provided for the food order and they deliverer it to the space your seated. Fairly quick and efficient. Overall enjoyed happy hour at Fort Point, appreciated the affordable draft pours, decent food selection with a slight discount.

When nature calls after drinking your 3rd draft beer visit the restroom! It's a must do at this relaxed communal beer hall. You'll be captivated with the sound of Naturist Sir David Attenborough's nature talk series....kinda appropriate for the restroom ambiance. Our beers were crisp, refreshing and served perfectly chilled. They serve light bites and fresh oysters to complement the libations. Indoor and outdoor seating is abundant and no reservations needed. In fact there were more than enough tables on a cool October Friday evening.

3.5 stars. Fort Point Valencia has super cheap options for happy hour! I came here for the $2 oysters and $5 beers-on-tap. The establishment is quite beautiful and it's not too busy at all during happy hour. Oysters [3/5]: For the price, I thought the oysters were pretty good but not shucked very properly compared to most other establishments; out of the 10 oysters we ate, 90% had small bits of shell scattered throughout. Shrimp Cocktail [4/5]: A decent shrimp cocktail. Good sauce, shrimp felt a little dry and lukewarm. Crudo [3.5/5]: The choice of salmon for this was interesting, but the sauce and toppings were really good! Note: They are super strict about checking ID! I forgot mine and was denied beverage service (despite having a picture of my ID and passport on hand), and I later saw a cute old couple with gray hair get carded as well. :P

Very aesthetic and a nice place to get a drink and food! I had the super dry cider and it was definitely very dry but very refreshing! We also had the garlic fries and they had a strong garlic flavor but they were really salty. Service is great and the food came out in a couple minutes.

The Primo American Pilsner from Fort Point!

Just recently was the first time I had a beer from Fort Point. I am not sure how I missed this San Francisco brewery as far as getting it into my bookmarks but I am glad an opportunity arose for me to try it because I would have missed out! Steve and I had the Primo which was a pilsner that was highly enjoyable to have. It had a clean, dry and bitter characteristics. It was crushable which means it would be very easy to have more than one of these beers. What a great starting point with this brewery and I'd love another opportunity to try them again. It would be very tempting to get the same beer over again but I am curious to see what I think of their other beer styles also.

Love coming here for happy hour. I got the raw bar set ($16) and a cider($5) to go with it. All the seafood was fresh and delicious, my favorite was the crudo. They make a wonderful hot sauce too. Cider was nice and crisp, not too dry. Space is clean, service is friendly, quick and attentive.

Offering diverse beer and food options, this tap room is set on a side street in the Mission district of San Francisco. We enjoyed a 4-beer flight (flights must be between 3 and 6 in-house beers and ciders). Charming venue with a great vibe and friendly service.

Dropped by on a Saturday night after dinner and was able to grab a seat easily for 2 people. Got a flight to share just to taste a couple of the beers, and they were all really great! My favorite that day was a Korean style lager in partnership with San Ho Won - I forget the exact name of the pour but it was really light and refreshing. The interior is a cool vibe with neon signs and dim lighting all around. The design of the brewery is very sleek and modern with a pretty open layout. Overall, decently spacious and would be a good spot to hang out with large groups of friends! I did not try any of their food that night so definitely want to come back sometime especially to check out their happy hour menu for the $2 oysters and discounted drafts.

    Crispy Fish Nuggets
    Brenda F.

my friend and I came here for a quick bite and drinks. She recommended this place because we were in the area and she liked their beer. The fish nuggets were delectable, but I didn't enjoy the crudo as much. The fish was a bit rubbery. This place has a minimalistic interior design and offers both indoor and outdoor seating.

Happy hour is Monday - Friday 4-6pm! Only got oysters ($2pp for hh) and wow, they were great. Not the sweetest, but these were huge and fresh oysters! Usually I'm a mignonette gal, but I loved these with lemon & their house hot sauce. Service is great and very sweet. Beautiful space. Will be back for sure.

We were given menus. Then we waited 15 minutes and were never approached for a drink. Oh well,,, hostess came and founds up and took us to our table. Said table was VERY small and shoved into a very small corner in back of a smallish but VERY loud room. Server took at least 10 minutes to greet our table and take a drink order. Drinks were fine but nothing to write home about. Ordered deviled eggs for an appetizer. Smoked paprika flavor was overwhelming and we left 4 of the six eggs uneaten. Dinner guest ordered Flat iron steak and fries. Said it was ok "Like a steak at Chili's". He left half his steak and didn't want a box to take the leftover. Also ordered the Mac-n-cheese side and said it was bland and had a mushy texture. I ordered the Black Cod. It was under seasoned and bland. Server was fine and I mean that in the most average and forgettable way. While I understand the restaurant was busy and they can't help noise levels or where we were sat (someone has to sit in that table, right?), I'm most disappointed in the things they could have controlled. Timely, friendly service and well seasoned quality food should be the cornerstones of any good restaurants and Wayfare Tavern displayed neither last night. One other rule I need to remember to live by. ALWAYS check yelp reviews vs. OpenTable. OT consistently has EXTREMELY high reviews that don't always "add up". Wayfare Tavern, for example is a 4.7 stars in over 8,300 reviews, while it only receives 3.9 stars in Yelp with over 4,000 people reviewing it on this platform. Just my opinion but for context I eat out for work 3-4x a weeks all over the country and Wayfare did not come close to a 4.7 star or even a 3.9 star experience.

You give me a Calabrian chili sauce and it's guaranteed to make me happy and this shrimp with sweet corn was no exception. Again, light but a punchy flavor that was enjoyable. I could go on and on about the different dishes we tried but the real standout of the night was the pork tenderloin with chorizo and peaches. The sweetness from the peaches somehow managed to enhance the flavor of the chorizo. This dish gives you a bold, savory and sweet bite all together but still won't have you feeling super heavy. The portion size is perfect. Im hoping to return soon for another exquisite meal.
