Recently, I brought my LS-430 to Kwik Kar for a tire rotation. When the technician was finished and he brought the car outside, there was a loud thumping sound. He took the car back inside to the shop and worked on it again. He said he didn't have the lug nuts on correctly. I then looked at the wheels and noticed a broken plastic hub cap. I pointed this out to the technician. He said he would order one and replace it. I told him he should have removed the plastic hub cap before removing the lug nuts and rotating the tires. This was an obvious procedure. After I got home, I noticed another broken hub cap. I called Kwik Kar and told the supervisor. I asked where he bought the hub cap so I could order one. I told him I would pay for the second hub cap because I didn't notice it before I left the shop earlier. I never received a call back. Kwik Kar has lost a customer. I will now take the car to the Lexus dealer for service. The wait is longer and the price is higher, but the care and quality is better.

I am describing what happened to me and what was physically found on my car. I absolutely do not recommend Alta Mere Auto Care based on my experience with my 2017 Ford Fusion Sport. I originally brought the car in for catalytic converter replacement. After the replacement, it developed new check-engine codes that were not present before. I returned more than six times trying to get the issue corrected. During those visits, multiple damaged or disconnected components were found. I was then told that replacing a $475 turbo diverter valve would fix the problem. I authorized it, but the same engine codes remained. After taking the car to another mechanic, we documented additional issues: broken hoses and clamps, an unplugged turbo-intake connection, pinched wiring near the vacuum-control system, and a molded plastic intake connection that had been broken and JB welded back together instead of properly replaced. That 'repair' has now completely failed. I was never told that component had been broken or repaired this way. I am including photos. Separately, I was charged approximately $1,800 for an RDU/rear differential part even though I went to the shop in person and cancelled the repair before installation. I was then going to be charged a restocking fee, so I ended up purchasing the part from them. My current mechanic and I later went to the shop in person to show the owner what had been found. When asked about fixing the parts that had been broken, we were told: "Oh, it'll be on us, of course." After my mechanic posted a review detailing the damaged and disconnected components he personally found on my car, along with how Bradley handled being confronted about those findings, Bradley Osborne called me and banned me from the shop. During that call, he began saying he would've fixed my RDU for free and even replaced the turbo if it turned out to be bad. None of that was offered when I was standing there in person asking them to make things right. Bringing up everything he "would've" done only while banning me came across as backpedaling, not a genuine attempt to resolve the situation. Being banned after being told the damaged parts would be "on us" felt to me like a way to avoid dealing with the problems rather than resolving them. From one serviceman to another, I am disappointed in the lack of integrity and accountability I experienced from Bradley Osborne and this shop. My issue is not simply one incorrect diagnosis. It is months of return visits, money spent on repairs that did not solve the problem, damaged and disconnected components discovered afterward, and the way the situation was handled once another mechanic documented the condition of the vehicle. I cannot recommend this shop. The attached photos show only some of what was found, and at this point I have no way of knowing whether there are additional problems that have not yet been discovered.

Let's just say there were some things that happened to my car that were not happening before I pulled into the car lot. They obviously did something to cause something wrong but immediately when I told the guy it wasn't doing that before I got here.. he said OK will look at it and will fix the problem. He said if we did something they would get fixed. Everything worked out so I am a happy customer. I did have to come back a couple days later to actually get my inspection done on my car. I had two tires put on that I brought to them and air pressure was wrong so again I had to come back for that as well... But for some reason I will still say I like this place they may need to get some guys with a little more experience in the shop but they are quick to fix a mistake and very kind about it. Not to mention the guy in the front (I should have gotten his name) was very nice and friendly and had all the laughs. I will go back to this place to have my other tire put on as well...
