Fortune is my go-to spot for takeout Chinese Food. Their prices are reasonable and serving sizes are large. While you can order through Doordash, Uber Eats, etc. if you have cash, I'd definitely recommend order through their website. Cash orders are eligible for a variety of promo's like 10%, free egg roll, a free drink or free apps, depending on how much you are spending. They deliver with their own drivers, so whether you order through a third party or direct through them, you can't track it, but my orders always come in under 30 mins and they'll give you a call when they are about two minutes out and another once their outside. Fortune Chinese is now my go to when I am craving Chinese takeout. Months ago, I stumbled upon Fortune through a second party delivery app. Once I noticed the delivery person was WALKING the order to my house, I realized two things. 1. I'm lazy. And 2. This place is really close to my house. Everything I've tried has been delicious. I'm especially a fan of their beef and broccoli. My boyfriend loves the house special fried rice which comes with shrimp, chicken, and pork. All of the chicken dishes have been fresh. I prefer their egg drop soup over their wonton soup. My only complaint would be that it needed some salt and pepper, but I'd rather add my own than get something overly salty. I want to start by I love a good Chinese takeout. It really is an easy thing to order and always just a classic. When we moved to philly this was one of the first places we ordered takeout and we now order here EVERY WEEK. My husband and I honestly really enjoy their food a lot. They give you so much food we are able to split it between two meals. We always order the same thing too (I'm shocked they don't remember us). I always get the general tsos shrimp and my husband gets generals tso chicken. The shrimp is bready, but I kind of like how fried they are. When I tell you they STUFF those containers, also we always keep the containers and they are so good to reuse (haha!) He has had a crab Rangoon, dumplings, and scallion pancakes and have enjoyed them too. They are one of the fastest places to order from and everything always is warm and fresh. Perfect spot for when you crave classic Chinese dishes, the General Tso's is incredible and the dumplings never disappoint. Crab Rangoon aren't my favorite here but I continue to hold out hope and order each time! Always quick service and takeout orders always come exactly as ordered. Really delicious and vivid colored vegetables made this rather ordinary choice extraordinary! If prepared well simple classics can take on new life. Do you think shrimp chow mein is boring? I don't and Fortune's version is crave worthy. My one criticism- their crispy noodles are not special. Tightly knit wontons are the best kind of wontons as another yelper has mentioned no one wants a loosely falling apart wonton and this place scored high points on the pint of wonton soup I had. I would even say I will go out of my way to return here to have there wonton soup again and hope it is as good as last nights order. The General Tso's Chicken I ordered Spicy level of seasoning and it did not disappoint. As I was eating it I could tell there is unhealthy chinese food and relatively speaking unhealthy chinese food this dish falls into the worse catergory for your health equaling definitely unhealthy no if and's or but's about it. The General Tso is crispy due to the excellent job they complete on the frying. Not alot of "chicken meat" on there General Tso Chicken but what do you expect a gourmet plumb chicken with perfect frying sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I do not believe that exists. Ordered the Shrimp Egg Rolls which I immediately regretted after I realized they give you an Egg Roll with your entree order. The Shrimp Egg Roll was not bad but I prefer a Shrimp Spring Roll which I do not believe they offer. I was disappointed but gave them the benefit of the doubt. Come the third time the food is not great. Found a local Chinese place that's close, cheap, and tastes great. First order I had the beef and broccoli with a hot and sour soup. The portions are large, enough to have three full meals from a single entree. The beef was average, I'd say, with really fresh, crisp broccoli with a not overbearing sauce. The hot and sour soup was tasty, maybe a little more liquid than some I've had before, and has the addition of mushrooms, which was nice, but unexpected. The second time, I went with the chicken and broccoli with brown rice and this dish stood out. The chicken is all white meat with no fat or tendons. The brown rice is a nice addition where you have a hint of the husks, but tastes great. Once again, huge portions will allow me to enjoy the dish for a few more days. The staff is friendly. I'm able to order my food and pick it up 15 minutes later. So far, had not had an issue with my order, which is nice change compared to some other local eat-outs. The perfect cheap but high quality Chinese restaurant. General tsos chicken is very meaty without much breading like other places do.

Wife's curry chicken was alarmingly underseasoned, in fact, no curry to be spoken of, but LOTS of salt, rendering it inedible. Gen. Tso Chicken was also overwhelmingly bland, despite requesting extra hot. Side of pork fried rice had only traces of pork, egg and was mainly just rice with soy sauce. Egg roll, spring roll, and dumplings all suffered from oil that was no where near hot enough and very old. Essentially, this is a place that's looking to save as much money as humanly possible, hoping you won't notice. If you have any desire for decent take out, I'd suggest Golden Empress Garden, Mustard Greens or Spice 28 if they deliver to your home. What you're getting is the kind of "chinese American food" that's "whatever fits in the fryer" and "yummy cheesesteaks with ketchup, mayo, mustard, relish, and soy sauce" all served from behind the bullet proof plexiglass with one of those cylinders so you can't shoot them when you try to rob the place.
