I walked in and stood waiting to be seated while an employee, who appeared to be the owner or manager, continued talking with her kids instead of acknowledging customers. I don't mind waiting, but a simple "We'll be right with you" would have made all the difference. I decided to give them another chance. On a later visit, I spent a few hours working there and ordered drinks. When a friend joined me, he sat down and was completely ignored. No one came over to greet him or ask if he'd like anything. We eventually had to flag someone down just so he could place an order. After that, our server mentioned that Tuesdays were buy one, get one free on wine. I ordered my second glass, but it never arrived. When I asked another server about it, I was made to feel like I was inconveniencing them. The irony is that I would have happily paid full price--I wasn't the one asking for a deal. They were the ones who brought up the promotion, then acted bothered when I politely asked about the wine that was never delivered. The final straw was our most recent visit. We were seated at a table by the staff, only to be told a few minutes later that we had to move because the tables were supposedly reserved for the party sitting behind us. We moved without making an issue of it, but no one ever ended up using those tables for the entire time we were there. It was frustrating to be relocated after being seated, especially when the explanation didn't match what actually happened. At this point, it's hard to view these experiences as isolated incidents. The common theme has been inattentive service and an attitude that makes customers feel like they're an inconvenience rather than guests. There are too many great wine bars that genuinely appreciate their customers for me to spend any more time or money here.

I got the flight, which came in a set of three test tubes! Very unique! Ambiance: thankfully we were the second set of people there and had the whole living room area to ourselves! Was nice and cozy! Parking: can be a bit challenging since this place is on a small strip of street. We parked over at the Coleman shopping center and walked over (~10 mins). Very easy walk but I've seen a couple of homeless ppl around there so just be vigilant. We came when it was still well lit out so def didn't have any issues.

First, this place is aptly named: it truly is a little wine house. There are several different places to enjoy your wine and some snacks including a small bar, a few tables outside, the front room, and a more intimate back room. The small bar is great for chatting and the back room is a wonderful choice if you're on a date or chilling with a handful of friends. The service is excellence, friendly and knowledgeable. They have a nice selection of wines and I really like the tube wine flights. I have not seen flights presented that way. I can't wait to return!

Today I planned my visit because I just knew I couldn't keep passing this place without trying it. Upon arrival, there was a food truck there. The food truck was called Fire and Rice. I quickly glanced at the menu and headed inside. They have nice outdoor seating and stand-up tables. There is seating inside and outdoors. We were greeted by one of the owners who told us all we needed to know about Coterie Cellars. We were told about the list of wines and their flavors. We tried 3 of their wines and went with Caries Corner's Pinot Noir. We also bought a bottle of another wine we tried to take home. We grabbed a seat inside the establishment after a lovely conversation with the owners and family. We enjoyed our wine and just had to try something from the food truck. I would definitely return. The vibes were chill, the wine was great, and so was the food truck. It was too crowded although there were a few guests but two tables were available when we were ready to be seated. Please Note: Food trucks are there on Fridays and its a new food truck each time. The menu changes every couple of weeks. Tastings are only on the weekends and not on Fridays.

I love that I don't need to drive 2 hours to wine country to get some good wine - it's just "right in my backyard"! While reservations aren't mandatory, I still made one anyways as you never know how busy a Sunday afternoon can be. When we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the owner Kyle and (I think) Marissa. Both were so kind and attentive to our needs. Our party of 4 each got a tasting and shared 1 cheese platter. Each tasting is $20 each and each cheese platter is $20 each. My boyfriend's favorite tasting was the Rosé and mine was the Syrah. And my mom and her friend enjoyed the Pinot Noir. Kyle also gave us an extra tasting - a dessert wine to park with the dried pineapple from the cheese platter. The espresso rubbed cheese from Cowgirl Creamery was SO GOOD, honestly, wanted more of that. Overall, we had such a great experience that I joined their membership. It happened to be one of the distribution months so our entire tasting was waved. I'm excited to be apart of this winery and can't wait to join some of their weekly events this summer. TLDR; if you are looking for a winery in SJ and don't feel like driving 2 hours, I recommended visiting this spot.

We got: -the trio dip (all 3 dips were perfect but the bread was hard and overcooked it made it hard to appreciate the dips) -octopus (needs a citrus note, but no notes otherwise) -bone in pork chop (taste was there, but very dry) -patatas (crispy potatoes, perfectly cooked but was way too salty to taste) This place has so much potential and hope they quality check their dishes because this place can definitely be a hit. Unfortunately, each dish had something that took away for us and we ended up not being able to enjoy the dinner.
