I got Rose, she's for a pedicure she is very rough. Where Jan is gentle and still gets the job done. Tina did my get nails. Almost in the dark. They came out lousy. I will try them one more time. Ummm this place sucks! This is after less than 24 hours of getting this done. Any other time I've gotten gel polish at other nail salons it lasts minimum 2 weeks before it chips. This isn't just a chip either, it's peeling off in large pieces. They also didn't get all the cuticles on my nails or toes and same with my girlfriend's nails they did. Please save yourself some money and go get your nails done somewhere else. They also gave me a cut on my pinky nail when they were cutting my nails so hopefully it doesn't get infected because otherwise this will be a huge problem! read more

I showed up 10 minutes early for my 12 noon appointment, only to find out they booked 4 other people for the same time, with 2 chairs operating outside because of covid. I'm a huge stickler for customer service and this place is horrible. I'm still waiting for a pedicure( my appointment time was 20 minutes ago) The attendant hands me a menu while I'm waiting. I choose the delux pedicure which is listed for $35. The attendant comes back and says it's $50 because they can only use gel polish outside because of the wind ( THE LIES) . I reply that there's nothing written on the menu about that and that I dont want gel polish on my feet. He then tells me I have to wait and go inside. I'm already upset because it's 12:30 and I got here at 11:50, I'm inside and still waiting, I asked to choose a color and am told that now all services are gel polish ( odd because the lady next to me isn't getting gel) unfortunately I feel this is racially motivated because none of the non POC clients were told that they had to get gel polish, it was just an option. AVOID THIS PLACE. Dude this place is terrible. They tried to take my acrylics off without soaking, but I wasn't about to let them peel that off and damage my nails! Anyone who went to nail school should know the proper way of removing acrylics! And she wanted to charge me $10 just to do it the incorrect way! I went to this salon in a rush. I noticed when I passed by they were not too busy, I went in asked or a gel manicure and pedicure. I felt the lady who did my pedicure was forgetful and didn't do everything the deluxe pedicure mentioned. She cut way too much on the sides of my toe, it actually hurt. Okay, time to get my nails done, I felt it was rushed also and the killer is the cost was $70.00 and the gel polish chipped off 2 days later. Well, I have been to this nail salon 3 times. Once I had Peter and he was great as he was friendly, u understanding and gentle. So I told myself I could go back again as my nails and pedicure looked great! The second time was not a good experience and Peter was out on lunch. The staff was rude, impatient and dis not do a good job on my nails. Peter came in later and fixed some errors that the other staff made. The third and final time was a horrible experience. I'm not sure of it was because they were busy but they rushed me around and did a half ass job on my 10 year old daughter's nails and toes and charged me a ton! I will not be going back. I go in for a pedicure and the guy doing my pedicure is completely incompetent. I asked for the highest level of pedicure which costs about $20 more than baseline I believe and he skips so many steps. What upset me the most is that he cut my toenails crooked! All of them. So I asked for him to stop and to have someone else finish my pedicure. The other guy ends up cutting my skin which wasn't even close to my nail. Not sure how that happened. What topped it off for me, was that the 4 days later, I developed Pseudomonas bacteria on my left second toe and dermatitis on my right toes. If you don't know what these are, google images and you will definitely want to stay away! I am beyond livid and don't know what to do. They're tools and rubs are not sanitary and I always thought I was the invincible one and this would never happen to me. But it did and it will happen to yo. They are the worst. Stay away! read more

But while she was gone I got a full set and a pedi... full set with gel on the sign is 35$ I was charged an extra 5$ because I wanted a coffin shape which I have NEVER been charged. I feel badly for Sophie because she runs such a great shop that I have been coming too since they opened the fact that who ever is running her shop while she is gone is changing the prices... also the man who did my nails did a horrible job... the gel was on my skin and the shape is not done well. The best thing about this salon is the cleanliness. They put a plastic liner in the basin that you soak your feet in, and there was a woman constantly cleaning. The gentleman that provided my pedicure was quite thorough and my toes looked great. There are lots of TVs, so pretty much anywhere that you sit you can view a screen. I will say I noticed a communication issue within the salon, not just myself but with other patrons as well. Not so much a language barrier, but I noticed the people working were not taking the time to listen to their customers. I tried to explain that I brought pedi sandals that had separators between the toes, and that they had to be put on before he started polishing otherwise the polish would get messed up when I put the sandals on. I tried to communicate this several times, but he disregarded what was being said, and replied he was a "professional". Well, needless to say when he retrieved my sandals to put them on my feet he exclaimed "uh oh". I overheard another conversation that further convinced me they don't put on their listening ears. Also, often times when someone is working at a quick pace, it can translate as rude, or dismissive & I don't think that is their intention. I've been going here for over a year started going when Covid first hit overall I stayed going because it's literally five minutes away from my home but now I'm officially over it they always rush when I'm getting my pedicure my feet are barely in the water I never get a chance to just soak my feet and then they start working they immediately start working. What made me write this review the last time I went my nails were uneven weren't shaped correctly and again I felt very rushed so they can get to the next customer. When I called back to discuss what was wrong with my nail set Sophia called me back and told me to bring cash when I returned the next day I was confused on why I needed to bring cash because I just was there the day before and the nail tech van didn't do her job correctly. This to me shows that they are very money hungry and not to concerned about customer care. I was at Forum and I witnessed RACISM. There were 2 girls getting the same service. The Black girl was there 1st and was waiting and then the White girl walked in they helped her told her what her choices were and started her service 1st and spoke to her very nicely. The Black girl was patient and asked nicely about when her service would start. They never explained anything, she had to ask them to turn on the bubbles in the water, she had to ask for the services page and they treated her like they didn't want her there. So the very next day my paint chipped on my nails. Yes I was extremely upset. I called before I went in. I told her to take all the Polish off and give me back all my money. She took off my polish. She also was so heavy with taking it off (I'm guessing because she was mad I wanted my money back for the poor service I received)she dug the tool into my nails so I could not even get them fixed. Today was my last straw with this place! I got a pedicure on Sunday and was happy with it until yesterday when I noticed cracks in the polish. Today I went in on my hour lunch break to get the polish fixed. I wanted a different color and was told off the bat it would be $15. I didn't see why I'd have to pay $15 so I explained that the polished cracked on its own as i haven't done any activity that would cause the polish to crack. The lady helping me says she has to talk to the owner Sofia. She comes back and states that it'll be free for the same color but $15 if I wanted to change the color. Which I completely understand if I were the reason the polish cracked, chipped, peeled or any other given reason. But why would I get the same color if it's just going to crack all over again. If it cracked the first time, that means the polish is old. I asked to speak to Sofia and I was told she was eating. After a little while, the lady speaking to me starts to do the next clients nails! I walked over and asked for Sofia again and I was told she was still eating. Another lady chimes in and asked how can she assist. I tell her my need and reasoning and her and the rest of the coworkers proceed to speak to each other in their language. I wait to get a reply and the lady who first helped me says, "i want to do it for you but I want to do the same color" I replied "that's what you want to do but as the customer, that's not what I want to do." They all speak to each other again and proceed to do the other clients nails and say nothing else to me at all. No service, no customer service assistance whatsoever. I yelled toward the back where Sofia was "you just lost a customer since no one wants to speak to me!" Sofia never came from the back. Not sure what was really going on but as a small business owner, you should be the first one to step out to resolve a complaint from a customer. I've been a client of the place for the last 4-5 years, I have not only given them my patience but also my money! This place has been sinking for quite some time and now that Peter is no longer there, it has completely sunk! I will never return to this place especially for the high paying price of bad and unprofessional customer service.
