This place is my go to for pedicures and nails! Hannah is my girl she does an amazing job every time. She knows I'm really picky, and she never disappoints. Has been my favorite location for their service, cleanliness, and relaxation. However, the last time I went to get my acrylic pedicure retouched, the technician did not fill them like I wanted. When I asked about the skipped step, she brushed over it and said they didn't need a fill despite there being significant growth since my last appointment. Seemed a bit like she was trying to cut corners and rush me out. The pedicure came out nice but I'm concerned about the longevity since I didn't receive a fill like I requested. read more

I got my natural nails shaped into a soft oval and covered with gel polish. I specifically asked to keep the length shorter so it would be more comfortable for me to work on the keyboard, and I really appreciate that the tech took that into account. The application looks very neat and smooth. It was only 40 dollars and the service was quick. The tech listened carefully to what I wanted in terms of shape and also recommended the best gel for natural nails based on my request. I am very happy with the result. Highly recommend. I've been coming to Rose Nail Spa for two years. All the employees are very nice. They do an excellent job. The business is very clean which is important to me. All the instruments they use for pedi's and mani's are all very clean. Prices are comparable to other salons but the atmosphere and cleanliness and great staff is definitely a 5 star rating/review. read more

I visited a new nail salon for a gel manicure and regular pedicure on Thursday, 3/13. By Saturday, one of my nails had already chipped. I called the salon, and they offered to fix it the same day, which I appreciated. However, the repair was poorly done--the polish was bumpy, had a visible ridge, and I could move the polish trying to flatten it. A few days later, the "fixed" polish peeled off, revealing a sticky underside. Additionally, another nail on my other hand chipped. Considering that gel polish is expected to last up to two weeks, I would have been satisfied with at least a full week of wear, but this barely lasted five days. The repair only made things worse. While my pedicure turned out fine, the overall experience was disappointing. I paid $76 (not including tip), and based on this experience, I would not recommend this salon. read more

This has been my go-to spot as of late, and I will tell you why. The cleanliness, good service and calm atmosphere makes it a lovely place to get your nails done. The salon owner is so friendly and remembered my name. She also gave a recommendation on nail shape to make my fingers appear more elongated, which I really appreciate. The only thing is, be prepared to spend a little extra time here because they spend a little more time in perfecting the polish, rather than rushing the process. read more

Love this place! First of all, I found this place because I admired pedicures that my friend and her mom had, and she told me where they went. I came here with a friend (I was treating her out for her birthday.) I called the day of (Friday) and they had room for two!! We were seated next to each other, as well. The place was nice and clean. Their seats are super comfortable--- way more comfortable than others. The pedicure I was give was amazing- the man was gentle and did a fabulous job. So I was looking for a place for my regular gel manicure, and I found this place, I called and asked if they had time, they gave me an appointment, they were busy. The lady who did my manicure looked like she was in a hurry! And to be honest I picked this place because had wonderful reviews, they are polite, friendly. The worst nails I've ever gotten. I asked for skinny square and walked out looking like this. I also asked her to fix it while in the store and she "fixed it" and then as I was checking out I noticed there was no polish on the sides of my nail from her "fixing it" and I brought it up and she goes "yeah because I filed it" and I proceeded to ask if she would fix that and then she did. But why do I even need to be almost out of the door for you to fix what you obviously noticed?? Waste of my time and money unfortunately. read more

Went to see Hannah after all the rave! She did okay. She left the nails too short, and different lengths, but I can live with it. I'm giving a one star rating because of Henry (think that's his name) when I was telling Hanah what I wanted and how she cut one side of nail too narrow, he told me they couldn't help me anymore. He was basically telling me to leave. He wasn't the one doing my nails, he isn't the owner. He was just rude. I even told Hanah that if I'm paying for a service, I should get what I want! I may or may not go back. I'm discouraged because of how rude Henry was! I ONLY went there because they are one of the few salons in Antioch/Brentwood area that do hybrid gel and gel x. I should've driven to Concord where I get exactly what I ask for and I'm not refused service for asking that my nails be done how I like them, which is basically what he did, refused service. Nails aren't cheap, there are salons EVERYWHERE, many have left nails salons for press ons, which I've been wearing but today I wanted nails extensions. Don't know why when I can get perfect nails for $20. With that being said, these workers need to be super nice! People are losing their jobs which means less and less will go to get their nails done, so the few that do go, BE NICE TO! Although I'm not 100% satisfied with my nails. Hanah was super nice! I just didn't want to keep telling her to fix my nails 1/30 UPDATE. I called to ask for owner so I can complain about Henry. Henry answered the phone and refused to give me the owners information or when they would be in. He asked what did I need from them and when I told him I want to complain about him being so rude. he hung up on me. Def not a place I want to spend my $ at. read more

I've been coming here for about 6 months now and overall the service has been amazing. However, on Memorial Day weekend I went in for my usual gel mani and pedi. I felt like my service was rushed and I received a sloppy mani. Mind you I paid about $120 not including tip. So today after two weeks I had to back because the gel was lifting and cracked off my nails. I got a gel nail color change and 2 designs $40. I got uneven filed nails, nail polish missing off the sides, and rushed to make a decision on my nail design because another customer comes walking in the door. ‍ I spend too much money for me to come home unsatisfied with sloppy nails . Called in the morning to get a pedicure, they were able to get me in same day. Very cute and cozy salon. But let me tell you about this pedicure. Wow. I feel bad saying this, because this is not my normal salon, BUT THIS WAS THE BEST pedicure !! She did such a great job on every part. I was long over due but she put in the work and I'm so grateful! Hot stone, wax, hot towel, fancy lotions, gel polish $75. There are cheaper pedicures there, but I went all out because I needed it!! Definitely recommend! read more

I love Rose nails the entire staff are very professional and kind. The salon itself is very clean and welcoming. My daughter loves to come here she has special needs and is non-verbal but that doesn't matter they treat her like a queen. My 82 year old mom and 91 year old dad loves Rose nails too. Very respectful and cheerful staff. I really recommend the special organic pedicure it takes longer but the massage and towel wrap are amazing. Nails no problem they are artist! I tell everyone go to Rose nails. They do get busy on weekends but instead of making someone wait a long time, they will schedule you for a specific time. Great people awesome service. read more

I made an appointment for 5:30pm and when I arrived the only two nail techs there were both assisting other customers. They had me pick a color and then soak my nails but it was another 25 minutes before they got started on me. By this time I was feeling annoyed but I know this is pretty common at a nail salon so I waited patiently and I'm glad I did. The nail tech did such a great job on my gel manicure. She really took her time and did not do a rushed/sloppy job. It seems like she takes a lot of pride in her work and wanted them to be perfect. She cleaned them up very nicely around the edges. Even though I had to wait longer than I would've liked, she deserves a 5-star rating. read more

Went in for pedicure asked for ingrown toe nails & dead skin to be clipped and removed she was unable to do so. Did not clean the cuticles then my toes were all uneven. Asked her prior to polishing to even them she said she couldn't because I wanted them short. She was upset with me I left without my pedicure complete. They didn't charge me but I have been going to here for years will never be back. read more

Had made an appointment but still had to wait ~20 minutes as the tech was not even at the salon yet. I received a gel pedicure which they did a great job, I was really happy with it. I also got a new acrylic set, but overall wasn't impressed with the attention to detail. I left the salon with my finger tips covered in acrylic residue and gel polish. The underside of the nails just look poorly done but the tech couldn't fix it without cutting my skin. Salon was nice but a little run down and unkept. Floor could use a good cleaning. Would go back if I was in a pinch, but only for a pedicure. read more

I wish I could give this salon more stars but they just can't seem to hold onto their top employees. I had been continuing to go to Rose Nails for the past year because of my favorite nail tech, Joey. He is 5/5 and truly the hardest worker! I always left very satisfied and happy with my nails. I found out he recently left and I'm beginning to think it has to do with their owners. Before Joey started at the nail spa, they had a younger female who I saw, who was excellent and also left suddenly. Henry, the male owner is very friendly but his wife, Hannah is quite the opposite. She is rude, always scowling and constantly making scheduling mistakes without taking accountability. Now that Joey is no longer at the salon, I will not be back. Two great nail techs who left in the same year. This seems like a management issue. read more

It took a while but I finally found my regular place Update...my gel nails and younger daughters gel nails peeled off in less than one week. My older daughter's nails (full set) fell off within two weeks. Disappointed that they didn't last longer. read more

I was seated immediately and was getting my pedicure/manicure service. After 15 minutes I realized that the woman working on my hands didn't really know what she was doing, she kept shaking as she was cutting my cuticle, and sprayed my hands with alcohol twice within a 5 minutes span. I thought she would have moved on with applying nail polish. I was wrong. She proceeded to apply hand lotion right after applying the gel base. At this point I had to stop her and my pedicure was finished and was confused and nervous- not a feeling you want after leaving a nail salon. They were going to shift me over to a table to finish my gel application and I said I would pay for my services and leave. I was then asked to pay for my full service for a clean-up as my manicure. My only regret was not pushing back on that $20 charge, but I won't be returning back.

They try to make it a very special and relaxing time while you're in. Make sure to come 10 minutes early to pick color. There are so many colors and hard to pick from. They are a bit pricey but a basic nail set will stay on at least a month. For designs on nails the skill is a bit above moderate. They are not full on artist nail techs but they deff are pro nail sets. Very nice and kind people I wouldn't mind giving my money to though:) It's best to call before the appointment and ask to text the design before coming in. That way they can grab material so you're out quicker or tell you if it's a possibility. Anything simple they can most definitely do above & beyond quality.

First, she was rough and was cutting my skin and poking me and causing me to bleed on many of my toes and nails! Especially my left pinky toe nail which she also used a cheese grater to remove callouses. I usually go for the deluxe treatment which they didn't use the grater on me at other places but this time I just ordered the callous treatment which was 38. so 20. cheaper. But the grater took off some of my skin not only callouses. Especially since the pinky toe area is sensitive. When she cut my nails I was wondering why she was cutting it so short and part of my skin as well. Then she proceeded to poke and prod and file the short nail down even more. After I kept getting hurt and saying ouch numerous times, I was debating maybe I should have got up and just left! But I am such a ninny, and polite that I stayed and thought it can't get much worse, it will be ok. It became a comedy of errors. It looked like a 3rd grader painted my nails and she kept fixing one nail but then accidentally touched the other nail on the other foot ruining the polish and had to keep going back and forth fixing it. You would think you would learn after 1 or 2 of these accidents, but she did it over and over I just started laughing bc it was comical! She was laughing too and saying sorry! Normally, when the polish comes off accidentally it was bc of me, not the nail salon person! Then I asked bc this was the first time I had a black border on the top and bottom edges and some side edges? I thought maybe it was bc I picked a light blush pink color and I never had that as usually I got French manicures which are even lighter in color! I didn't have my reading glasses so I couldn't see well, but she painted the edges more. Later when I got home I was looking over the black edges wondering why they were black? It was because of dried blood!!! She cut it too short causing it to bleed and poked and prodded further making it bleed. I guess it was underneath. Then that pinky on the left was red and inflamed and painful. So I don't know if it was hurting from irritation, or if it got infected!? Two days later it is still red and hurts. The cheese grater she took out didn't come out of any solution I was thinking I hope they sterilized it!? Anyway, this was closer to my house so I went there since it was the weekend and less busy there than my usual place. But definitely avoiding this place next time! Oh and another thing she had long, sharp nails as well and she would dig her nails into the edges as well. Just not a good experience all the way around. I still gave her a good tip( although I really was thinking I shouldn't but I think I'm just conditioned to do it now and thought well she did the work at least) and she lol looked surprised too! I hate to say this, I would avoid going here with all of these red flags and painful bleeding experience- I just never had that. I may have one or two ouches with an aggressive technician and I have a high pain tolerance, but this was the entire pedicure! I was thinking what a WASTE of my money and it didn't even look good like a little kid painted my nails!

I'm really disappointed to be writing this review, as this has been my go-to spot for nails over the past year. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was a huge letdown. The nail tech was rushed, didn't clean around my cuticles, was rough with my hands, cut me twice, and left my nails looking messy. I came in for a fill and asked for the same white tips I had previously. The technician working on me didn't know how to do them, so I requested Maylee, who had done my nails before, to finish. While she completed the job, she never cleaned off the white residue from my nails, even after I pointed it out, and told me she was done. To top it off, the fill was $55, just $10 less than the full set I previously had for $65. After this experience, I won't be returning. read more

I had a great experience here. I got a mani-pedi done, and the quality was amazing. My nails looked perfect and lasted for weeks. The staff was friendly and professional, and they even allowed my friend to sit and hang out while I got my nails done, which was a nice touch. I highly recommend calling ahead to make an appointment, as they can get busy. One thing to note is that the front door can be a bit tricky. It sticks, and I actually thought they were closed at first! But once I gave it a little extra strength, the door opened just fine. The vibe inside is trendy with an Instagram-worthy wall.
