Fine place for brunch, nothing spectacular. The hot honey ricotta toast was super good, as well as home fries that came with my eggs. Service was attentive and they seated us right away with reservations.

The food here was sooooo delicious!! We stumbled upon this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. We intended to have lunch at Katz's deli but didn't have a lot of time and the line was too long. Walked a short ways looking for another option and found Fossetta. The inside is very cute, nice friendly vibe, service was lovely. I ordered the mezze platter which was phenomenal!!! The marinated mushrooms were so flavorful, the bread and dips were divine!! I can't wait to try this restaurant again.

Best brunch I've had in a while! Absolutely loved Fossetta. Their bread is fresh baked and fat! The ricotta cheese and hot honey was delicious. I didn't think it would be that filling! The portion of my grilled cheese was insane! Delicious, the bread, béchamel sauce and side mustard paired so well. Server was very kind. Food takes a bit of time to prepare since all of it is extremely fresh! Location is nice, clean, and cute! Would suggest 5/5

Came here for their weekend brunch. We got the ricotta & hot honey focaccia, pancake, and grilled cheese. Everything was so delicious and worth it. The focaccia and pancake both came out warm and were so so fluffy. The grilled cheese was pretty heavy, but that's to be expected. We ate a lot of carbs, so we were super full by the end of the meal. Definitely see myself coming back again. The pancake and focaccia were the highlights of this meal.

Ambiance: They have a really cute intimate set up. I love the big window doors that open when it's nice out. Feels very much like an Italian restaurant. Food: Food was okay. They didn't have too many vegetarian options and what they had felt a bit basic. The bread was delicious but the pasta felt under seasoned and average at best. Service: Everyone there was really nice and tried their best to help us find items we could eat. Price: I think the food was pricey based on what you're getting. Portion sizes were good but the taste just wasn't worth the price.

Came here for a birthday brunch, and I loved how open the space was and how the light came in through the garage door walls. The staff was really sweet and let me and my friends stay at the table for a pretty long time both when deciding what to order as well as staying for a time after we finished eating. I picked this place because of the pancake, but honestly it wasn't the star. It was good enough, but definitely more of a cake/cornbread/muffin texture rather than a typical pancake. I liked the apple butter on top though! This was sharable, and all 5 of us were able to share one. The STAR of Fossetta is that foccacia. I loved both the ricotta and hot honey one that we ordered for appetizer as well as the foccacia that came with the two eggs. It's crunchy but soft and has some kind of butter on it maybe? I don't know, but not questioning it because it was so good. Otherwise, I liked the home fries. There is a definite oil that coats all the food, though. I think there was a slightly heavier mouth feel on everything-- the eggs, the sausage, the fries, and the bread. So it was hard to find a bit of reprieve from that. That said, it was still an enjoyable meal.

Super cute little spot! Almost felt like it should have been in Brooklyn vs Manhattan - very cool vibes. Nomz: Started with the focaccia with olive oil and sea salt. Note: it was toasted so on the crunchy side - I like my focaccia nice and soft so wouldn't get again. Also tried the Caesar salad - which was a pretty big portion - was good. The highlight for me were the two eggs any style - added bacon and sausage. The eggs were super well seasoned - for someone who doesn't fangirl over eggs - I reallyyy enjoyed them! Also the potatoes was sooo yummy, perfect crispy to softness ratio with lots of flavor. The bread was the cherry on top, soft and delicious! Drinks: Had a mimosa - it had a splash of orange juice. Service: Was good, relaxed - like a neighborhood spot. Ambiance: I lovedddd how much natural lighting there was, sooo nice! It was minimalistic but with very cool decor and had lots of plants which was very nice. Nope or Dope: Dope! Can't wait to go back and also try the pastas for dinner!

I finally made it to Fossetta on Saturday after having it bookmarked forever, and I'm so glad I did. They've got an awesome happy hour with both great drinks and food. I went with the Lot's Wife cocktail, the meze platter, and the meatballs, and everything was delicious.  The service was great; they quickly accommodated me as a walk-in for HH. This place is definitely going to be one of my regular spots in the LES. I cannot wait to go back and work my way through the rest of the menu!

Come get loaded foccacias ‍ They're fluffy with a light crunch and the topping!! Hot honey so yum ‍ The other items are pretty good too but not as exciting. Vibes are good too, it's a natural wine bar that's both spacious and easy to reserve! Very hard to find now days. ricotta & hot honey focaccia $13* tinned scallops in vieira sauce $18 bucatini all'amatriciana $25 토핑 잔뜩 올려진 포카치아 먹으러 가는곳 종류도 다양하고 무엇보다 빵 식감이 너무 좋다. 다른 디쉬들도 낫 배드. 뉴욕에서 자리도 넓고 예약도 쉬운 네추럴 와인바 흔치 않아요오.

Beautiful restaurant in the LES with tons of natural lighting! Went in for brunch right when they opened and the restaurant was empty. The pancake was delicious and one of the best I've had. It had a soft interior with a chewy crust and the apple sauce added the perfect sweetness. Really enjoyed the rigatoni too. I was disappointed by the focaccia, the ricotta was too salty for me and the focaccia itself was too hard and difficult to cut. Overall I loved the ambiance and the servers were extremely welcoming as well!

    marinated mushrooms

Nice not too loud atmosphere! Great service. Loved the pepperoni focaccia and marinated mushrooms.

    Fossetta Pancake

Food was insanely good and exceeded my expectations! The pancakes are soft, yet had the perfect crunch. The staff was so kind and our server Syd was the best! Service was so fast and I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for good grub!

Wow East Village! You have yourself a gem with Rake Wine Bar! We were waiting for our dinner…read morereservations and decided to stop in here for a pre-dinner drink and bite. I am SO glad we did. The vibe drew us in, they had great music bumpin from the outside, it looked lively and welcoming. Let me tell you- I would have skipped dinner and just stayed here all evening if it was my choice! But alas, my husband wanted a bit more to eat. But let me tell you- their knowledge of wine is PRISTINE! I can't tell you what white wine we had but they captured our tastes perfectly. We also shared a bruschetta and it was deliciouso! I love how friendly the staff was here and how unpretentious it all was. Next time we are in NYC- we will definitely make a point to come visit Rake!

First I'll start with the wine - we ended up trying all three happy hour wines (HH until 7), which the tables favorites were the white and we ended up getting a bottle to split once HH ended (but I really enjoyed the other vino verde option). It was incredibly refreshing and paired well with the many tinned fish options. As you'd expect - it's a pretty massive selection and there is bound to be a varietal and glass for any palate. It's also attached to a wine store - so it's fine to see all the bottles when peaking over. Food-wise - this is where it was hit or miss, they have a pretty extensive menu (with a whole tinned fish section!) and we ended up ordering the buratta on focaccia (buratta was excellent, focaccia was too dense for my tastes), mushroom truffle crostini (way too salty), the flatbread with sliced kielbasa (was fine), halloume (table favorite ), tinned sardines in lemon oil (delicious), tinned smoked trout (my favorite). Overall the four of us were very full at the end of the meal! The space itself felt very relaxing and rustic, and definitely got busier as the night went on (we got there at 6:50 and left around 9). The service was also fast and attentive - even for the amount of tables they were serving. Overall - I'd definitely go back again, and maybe just focus on the wine and another tinned fish selection!

The ssam lettuce wraps were good, though they read a little more like Jewish brisket with a spicy bean sauce than what I expected from a Korean lettuce wrap. Still tasty, just a different vibe. Honestly, this would've been a 5-star meal if I didn't leave with three mosquito bites. Great food, great service, great wine -- just maybe bring bug spray.

Make reservations for peak dining times in the evenings and on weekends. Many people walked in without reservations and were seated right away on Saturday evenings. Highly recommend trying their original cocktails ($18). We tried the flower child and the harvest moon. Both were tasty. I would get harvest moon again and again. Perfect balance of Tart, sweet refreshing and strong. Menu items change seasonally so it's delightful to try something new every time you visit. $21 potato croquettes were highly disappointing. Everyone recommended them highly, but I could not understand why. For such price, three tiny balls of fried potato should've been mind blowing, but they were underwhelming and forgettable at best. Skip. $24 giant ricotta stuffed raviolo was delightful. Such soothing comfort food. If I could eat just this, I would be happy. $26 fresh crudo was refreshing and light. Wish the portion was a bit bigger, especially the sides. $38 duck confit was highly advertised, however, it was underwhelming and the least stand out dish. It was solid, but nothing that I would order again or recommend. The duck was on the dry side. Definitely not enough sauce. The cabbage and the cabbage salad were good. Crispy and refreshing. The duck was not the star of this dish. $13 chocolate mousse with strawberry coulis was surprisingly delightful. So light and balanced. Not sweet, but just right to finish a meal. I could eat this dessert every day after every single meal. So simple, yet it hit the spot. Service is very fast and efficient. One of our readers was superb and provided stellar recommendations. Another waiter (young and inexperienced) was very shy and his energy felt very stifling.
