Cacio e Pepe, but with fettuccine.
    Nathan W.

I have to first start off with I was afraid when I asked for chicken Alfredo, then was told they don't serve chicken Alfredo. I was offered Cacio e Pepe, but with fettuccine and I was amazed! The flavor was so good! I have a new favorite go to! The sound level was above average just because of the close quarters but I was still able to have a conversation with my friends without an issue, just a raised voice. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone that is craving some pasta or some other Italian food as the food is a blast of flavor!

We stopped in for a drink and the owner was beyond hospitable. The drinks were so good, we went back for a late lunch and the food was amazing. Highly recommend this cozy restaurant if you're in the lower east side!

I was SO pleasantly surprised by this spot. An unassuming Italian spot in LES with great staff and delicious food. We came for valentine's day - frankly, it was not hard to get a reservation so I wasn't expecting much but I was blown away by how amazing the flavors were. I believe the chef won chopped here, and it was definitely well earned. 1. Calamari: SO SO good! Lightly breaded, not too oily and the perfect amount of salt. 2: Pappardelle: I am not exaggerating when I say this was the best mushroom pappardelle I've ever had in new york. The fried onions and smoked ricotta gave it so much umami that at one point I thought there was bacon in this dish. 10/10 no notes. If there's one thing you order, the pappardelle is it! 3: Scallop with fennel This was a special on their valentines menu. It was one giant scallop, but a delicious scallop at that. Super fresh and even the fennel was well sauced. 4: Lamb Shank This is the chefs signature dish! It was fall of the bone and a good amount for 2 people. We enjoyed it thoroughly. 5: Carrot Cake A bit sweet, but definitely unique and tasty. It has bits of ferrero/hazelnut that I really liked. Overall, Taverna Di Bacco was delicious. I ordered 2 cocktails and my date had a glass of wine. The total came to about 200$ without tip or tax, which we found really reasonable especially on Valentine's day. We will definitely return!

Overall rating: 4.1 Price: $85 w/ tax & tip I came here last minute with a group of friends, not knowing what to expect. Very uppidy and I already felt out of place. I ordered the below: - chocolate martini: 3/5 $20 do not get and not worth it. It basically tastes like straight vodka chocolate flavored. I thought there would be more umph. But it was hard to drink not going to lie. - Bacco Burget $26 2/5 the prices were a lot higher than expecting so I didn't want pasta. But the burger is only bread, meat, onion, and cheese. It took years to get ketchup & idk for $26 I guess I was expecting a banger meat with lettuce, tomatoes, or any other toppings to elevate it. - Rose $18 4/5 no complaints I saw a lot of people come during the dinner rush but this place isn't for me. Service was just okay.

Great little place.. Amazing Orchard Old Fashioned.. fabulous ambiance. Friendly service. Cute quaint location around the corner from Katz deli. I wrote this review before I received my food. The best burger of my life! I ordered Medium. The fries were the most perfect crunchy outside and cloudy inside. I am so glad we walked into this little gem.

This place is legit. If you're looking for some pretty authentic, tasty, and well presented Italian food.. go to taverna Di bacco. Never had a problem getting a last minute reservation.

Ambiance: This place has a nice ambiance, definitely very "New York" -- dark (you can't see how dirty the floor is) and loud music (maybe too loud). We sat upstairs (we had a reservation) and of all the people on the top there was a party of 4 (us), a party of 8 (all dudes celebrating something) and the rest of the tables were on a DATE - which I thought was funny. Service: We were served by Ann-Marie who was so delightful. She was kind, super nice, and took the time to speak to us (which is basically how we figured out she wasn't a native New York City person). She gave us good food suggestions and we were very happy with our selection. Food: Here is what we ordered * Steak Frites: My two boys got the steak frites and I have to say the steak was awesome! I had a bite of each of theirs and they each ordered it differently (one Medium Rare/Medium and one Medium) and they both were prepared PERFECTLY. The fries were overflowing. * Caeser Salad with Salmon: My wife got the salad with Salmon (they only have a few salad options) and she enjoyed it. * Prawn and Crab Risotto: I got this and I have to say it was VERY bland. I wouldn't get this if you are looking for taste. I had to put salt and pepper on it to make it have any semblance of taste. Value/Price: I would say this is not over priced but it is not cheap either...bill is attached. I would recommend it to folks who are looking for a good place to either go out on a date or a family type meal.

Service was good. We had the fried chicken Benedict and the crab cake Benedict. I was a bit confused when I saw that each Benedict dish only had one poached egg - shouldn't it always be two? I guess that's shrinkflation (plus inflation) for you. That bent said, the crab cake was actually really big and filling. The side of potatoes were really delicious. Would I come back for brunch again? Very unlikely. But, it does seem like a pretty "safe choice" if you need a last minute reservation for a group.
