This is one of my family's favorite local places for donuts. They are always fresh and delicious. I have been going to this location since I was a child (I will not give away my age my telling you how long ago that was but I will say I remember when this shopping center was built ). One of my favorite things about this shop is the fact that the round iced donuts are also glazed which makes for a rich and extra sweet donut. The cake donuts are always yummy and perfect with coffee. My husband is partial to the fritters and jelly filled and loves the choices. My kids of course love all things with sprinkles which they always have plenty of. One of the perks is that this location is always open, even on the holidays with special hours, I can get great donuts. Only suggestion, if you plan on getting a couple dozen or more and want certain ones call the day before and place an order so you are guaranteed all your favorites! read more

I frequent this place as it is right around the corner from my house. They have the best donuts! ALWAYS fresh and so tasty. The lemon blueberry is delicious! You can't go wrong with a classic sugar round, and I have to admit that I indulge in the occasional pink sprinkle. They have really good blended iced drinks such as vanilla, heath mocha, and an amazing matcha green tea smoothie. I was feenin' for donuts and my go-to establishment was closed so I made the trek to Fosters. I got their glaze donut, donut holes, a maple donut, and a sugar cookie. Eeks. The cookie was tasteless, the donuts were heavy, and denser dough than what I'm used to. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't good. The people that give this place 5 stars need to try mom's donuts, Rosedale donuts, and angel donuts. Any of the aforementioned places will blow this place away and you'll never look at standard donuts the same way. Next time, I'll just wait to go to my usual place l, at least I won't be disappointed. read more

We've been here many many times and there donuts are usually fresh; however, tonight was a whole nother story! First off, the large Hispanic man that helped us was so rude and had his headphones on the whole time we were ordering. Then, he proceeds to tell me that the donuts were made that morning (mind you, it's 9 at night!). I ask for fresh ones and he says it'll be about an hour. This has literally never happened before so I was in shock. I purchased a carton of milk took a donut home with me because I had the biggest sweet tooth. Once I got home, I opened the milk and it was completely old, and the donut was dry as ever (as I figured it may be). Hopefully management reads this and makes some changes in there staff for being so rude, and lazy with not wanting to do anything. I hope know else has an experience like mine! read more

Amazing donuts! My favorite are the glazed chocolate sprinkled. The chocolate pudding filled ones are popular at my house too. They are fresh and delicious. Close to my house so its always a quick trip in the morning. I'm interested in trying their coffees as well. Best part is that they are open 24/7! read more

The girl working there today 3/21/2019 at 11:35am is very rude. Bad attitude not polite to her customers. She is very short with them doesn't greet with a smile seems like she hates her job. I can get donuts at one of the other 50 locations in Bakersfield this place is convenient but not anymore with people like that working there. Smile at your customers and when they ask a question don't cut them off abruptly if you're out of something be polite it's not a big deal but it is when you're rude to people. Then the little old lady after me got the same short greeting "what can I get you" not a hello how are you and then a nice what can I get for you. Just poor customer service. Find another job if you have people so much go work in a job where you aren't dealing with customer service. read more

Honestly they have some of the best donuts I've tasted. The donuts are nice & fluffy & they don't have a greasy taste after you eat them so that's a plus. Only bad part is Everytime I get helped by the staff they always talk to me with a bad attitude & they always seem in a bad mood. Foster's Donuts is probably the only donut shop I would choose unless you don't mind the drive to Krispy Kreme. They are 24 hours which is great because you can make a midnight food run. Its a nice little shop that has relatively fresh donuts and great service. read more

I typically have no issue with this place; however, this morning's customer service was deplorable, due to one of the employees, by the name of Patty! I walked in, and was immediately hit with the rantings of her personal life, from where she stood in the back. It's one thing to vent to your fellow colleagues; yet, another thing to do so loudly, while cursing, and in a way that makes the customers uncomfortable. We all stood there staring at each other. It also made the girl helping us very uncomfortable. When I finally asked to speak with the manager, the girl helping me told me the manager wasn't in, so I asked for the owner's number. She then proceeded to ask that very same girl for the number, which in turn incited here further. She then started projecting her voice toward me and yelled, "Our conversations back here have nothing to do with her, but if she wants the number, give it to her!" She was so rude! i have gone to this fosters location on several occasions, coming and going to church. the afternoon girl is very rude. i ordered 12 donuts, she piled them into a small box, by the time i got home they were melted from being packed into small box. on other visits she has been in back room and had to wait as long as 5 minutes for her to come out. will not being this location again. i spent ober $15.00 for melted choclate bars and etc. i will therefore go to the ming avenue location for great service. read more

The BEST donuts ever! Not kidding. I drive 45 minutes to purchase their donuts. The raised donut are outstanding. Soft, large, glazed and then white or chocolate glaze on top with sprinkles. Kids at school look forward to them twice a year in my class. Hubby is in law endowment in LA and says "their's not a donut shop in LA that holds a candle to those donuts" He likes the chocolate covered buttermilk...Better then RB&B you LA folks will know what establishment he's talking about! read more

Don't get me wrong, foster donuts are pretty delicious but the last two times I went there, I have seen several flies landing on the donuts. It's pretty disgusting. It gave me a really bad tummy ache. I wish they had doors for the donut display or something to keep the flies away from landing on the donuts. read more
