I forgot that Randy's Donut shop isn't here anymore! Went here the other day only to find that they are now called Stockdale Donuts. Storefront still looks terrific. Inside of the shop was clean and tidy as well. Service was excellent. There was a good selection of donuts. Unfortunately, they had already sold out of Chocolate French Crullers. Bought a Maple Buttermilk Bar and a Boston Creme donut. Both tasted fine. Those Boston Creme (Custard filed Chocolate donuts) are what I always like to purchase whenever I visit a donut shop for the first time. Their version tasted better than most of the competition. That being the case, the chances of me returning is very good. Stockdale Donuts is a fine addition to the donut shop scene in Bakersfield. read more

I got an early morning dozen donuts. They have a large selection band let you chose them if you want. It was $17 a dozen . The donuts are large and could be slept in half. They are some of the freshest yummiest fluffiest donuts I've had. They also offer numerous breakfast items and smoothies available all day. read more

This place deserves 10 stars. I am from Los Angeles and I have been eating donuts for 35 years. Stockdale Donuts are hands down, the best donuts I have ever tasted. Not overly sweet, dough is perfect, and you can tell they fry them in clean grease. Super fresh and tasty. Love this place, and the people are super friendly and kind. This Stockdale donut location is so convenient for me on the way to work. Clean and small. The donuts are always fresh and delicious it's MY personal favorite donut shop. On one occasion I dropped an envelope of money and I called them to ask if the envelope was possibly in front of the donut case. And it wasn't. But what the employee did next I am forever grateful. She went outside in the parking lot and found I had dropped the envelope where I had parked. Thank you Stockdale donut! BTW my daughter loves the specialty donuts. read more

We suddenly had a donut attack and I heard another donut shop recently moved in. I didn't know how good they were and I am happy to report that the donuts are excellent. The stand out donut for me was the bear claw. It was amazing. It was soft and squishy and crispy on the outside. We got a dozen under $20.00 which worked perfect for us. I do recommend the donuts for being fresh and the employees very friendly. read more

I was excited to try this spot as I had heard great things about the donuts and the service from friends. It's not nearby at all but I figured it was worth making the drive. It was early afternoon but I figured since they were open until 8 pm that the selection would still be good. Upon arriving we found a very scarce selection to choose from. I asked if they would be making more since they were open for at least five more hours and the girl said no. Reluctantly, we picked up a few donuts anyway just to try them out since we had come out this way. They were definitely nothing to write home about. Doughnuts, oh my, ohhhh my, best doughnut's in town no cap, but they hot chocolate do need some work, when they gave me regular hot chocolate instead of the french vanilla hot chocolate. Please please please get the ham and cheese jalepeno croissant. It is amazing. It is moist and buttery and just the perfect breakfast food. we've been trying donut shops all over CA and this one / wow! not a huge selection but good enough and the donuts were unbelievably perfect. we particularly compare glazed and crumb cake donuts, these are so far the best we have had. The "special" halloween donut also fantastic. this place is on par with the famous LA donut shops just not as big...
