A dozen delicious donuts for right around $12. They had an awesome selection and their donuts tasted great! My favorite was the glazed coconut. The donuts were massive too. They were much larger than what were used too so that was pretty sweet. Reading past reviews I noticed people had things to say about the service and quality of donuts. The service here is really disrespectful. The Asian owner had asked me how much longer was I planning to stay and eat at their one and only table. He gave two reasons: he needed to sweep and the the chair was unsafe. After I finished eating I told him that he had lost a costumer and that he was very disrespectful. I took a picture of the chair and him and he got really furious. He blocked the door and would not let me leave until I told him that he was kidnapping me and I told SIRI on my phone to call the police. He let go of the door handle so I left. Once outside, I was thinking about what to do and told him that he had committed two violations including not letting a handicap person stay to sit down and eat his meal. He would not listen and told me that I was stupid and that I needed to leave his store. I was already outside and there was no point in talking to him Because he was ranting and throwing offensive words. I will not be coming back to his place and I will think about holding me against my will in his store. If he has cameras, then he would not be a able to deny that he blocked the door. read more

Totally not oversold! Pretty good variety of donuts! Two cases full, and some beautiful sugar cookies any kid would love. I got a chocolate cake donut with chocolate icing...and chocolate chips. Update! Decided to add one star to my previous rating. Although, I have not actually been back to this location in awhile. I have been eating their donuts somewhere else. Turns out that their donuts are available at the place my car gets serviced. I'll have one donut each time I'm there in the morning. They've tasted good each time. I've been coming here since I was a kid and have been here several times in the past few months and I have to say they have some of the best donuts in town. Not only is it not "Krispy Kreme," it's also a local business that delivers some tasty donuts!! The sugar and glazed donuts are by far my favorite as they are so flavorful and not overly sweet, unlike some other places. Their chocolate sprinkle donuts are also fantastic as well as their maple bars! Their prices are reasonable as I usually get a half dozen donuts at a time and pay about $7 total-- can't beat that! The employees are usually pretty friendly and glad to help once you walk in! Oh, and did I mention they are open 24 hours??? YES!!!!! Man working the cashier was so rude to my boyfriend. My boyfriend asked for certain donuts in his dozen, and then cashier asked if he "could read" and pointed to a sign that my boyfriend didn't notice. This place is always packed in the morning, but the employees are very fast. My husband and I like to come here for bagels and coffee in the morning. They always have a good selection of different kinds of bagels. I really liked the spinach bagel and the jalapeño bagel. The garlic bagel was my husbands favorite. Every once and a while we will bring the kiddos for some donuts. They also have some cut decorated cookies and those yummy sprinkled thumbprint cookies. The employees are always very friendly. The donuts are really good! The ones I have tried, even the double chocolate ones were not too sweet! I also saw muffins, bagels, themed cookies and a big cooler of cold drinks behind the counter. Love that this place is open 24/7. That is quite the plus. It gets very busy and lined up the door so I feel 2 people should be working the front all the time as it gets backed up. It is very small inside with just 2 tables, no washroom. It seemed clean throughout the little shop and selection for 9pm on a weekend was decent. Our donuts were fresh. I grew up that coffee shops served donuts secondarily, coffee being the star. Here, I think you can get a coffee but it is from a machine and I did not see one person ordering one. California definitely loves their donuts all by themselves! Lots of parking available and many other businesses nearby to check out. Alas. Once again I sally forth in an attempt to acquire the elusive desert flower donut Unfortunately this trip, too, has come to naught; but hope springs eternal so I will be back. I hear the tales told by those more victorious in their quest than I and my mouth waters as I steel my resolve. Let me tell you about the desert flower donut at Foster's Donuts. I had not actually eaten one yet when I started this review, but friends have regaled me with tales of it's magnificence and it is now the star of many of my dreams. Twice now, employees have offered to "make me one" since they always seem to be out of the original when I arrive. "Making me one" starts with a huge cinnamon roll and involves copious amounts of toppings and a sprinkling of what I'm pretty sure was ground nuts. This is not a treat for the diabetic, sugar sensitive, or dieters, and I have yet to finish even half of one of these monolithic treats at one sitting. The good news is that it keeps well in the refrigerator so you can continue to enjoy one "doggie bag" style. The other big attraction is that this is one of the few donut shops open 24 hours a day. It's nowhere near my house, yet my friends and I keep gravitating here in the wee hours of the morning to recharge our batteries! read more
