The first time was around 1pm on a Wednesday and they were out of the ham&cheese croissants we wanted and the donut shelves were looking meek. Good for them! I applaud a business that can run low on same day made baked goodies near closing time. They know their customers. This time we arrived at 8am and jumped in the line. 2 croissant sammies, 2 donuts, 2 milk and a coffee later and we were back in the car at 8:03! With 3 friendly, fast working sets of hands helping the crowd, the line went very quickly. No need for me to taste test a donut hole at Dolly's since they proudly display a "100% vegetable oil used" sign. NO NASTY SOY TASTE!!! The croissant was soft and slightly chewy, the cheese perfectly melted and the ham seemed to be Danola brand, not a thin Buddig variety. The donuts offered included the traditional, can't go wrong variety Hubs likes, but I was feeling a bit more adventurous and chose a pineapple upside down old fashioned. YUM!
