Service was quick, a nice variety of donuts and savory croissants, clean, seems family friendly with mini arcade games. Seating is fairly plentiful, however, I'm on the husky side, and it the seating was a snug squeeze. Will definitely recommend a dozen donuts to go! read more

At the opposite end of the same strip mall where the amazing Flavor Factory is, I noticed this donut shop on our way to finding the other. Of course, me always being on the lookout for donut places for my hubby, I immediately looked this place up to find that it had a 4.5 star rating. Naturally, it became "necessary" to see what all the hype was about esp. since we were right there. Since cronuts are the only donutty item I'll eat, he bought 2 maple cronuts. While they were a bit smaller in size than the cronuts we've had in SoCal, these were tastier, flakier, and more fresh than any others we've had. Absolutely wonderful !! My husband was VERY upset he hadn't bought more, but honestly, we already had a plethora of sweets we purchased on our little road trip, so it was fine. I was grateful for what we had, and it was such a nice surprise that we had stumbled onto. read more

I am really not a super big donut fan, but I could seriously sit and eat a dozen maple bars from Dolly's!!! OMG!! So light and fresh with a little more maple frosting than the usual maple bar. My husband loves the apple fritters and cinnamon rolls. A must stop for us while in Morro Bay. read more

What a great choice my wife made! We spent the night Friday and figured most breakfast spots in town would be busy with tourists on Saturday. This shop had locals, a few tourists and moms buying donuts for kids baseball games. We knew we were on the right spot. The donuts were so fresh & good! Really?? 4 stars?? These are the worst donuts on the central coast. Taste of Coconut oil OR never changed oil is disgusting. Couple this with a day after stale. It's the only donut shop in Morro Bay. Coming from out of town (San Diego) for a few nights. My 4 year old was wanting donuts for breakfast this morning. Googled nearest place and Dolly's popped up. Gave it a shot and didn't disappoint. Donuts were fresh, flavorful and perfect. Also got a ham and cheese croissant, and a sausage eggs cheese one. Very delicious. They heated it up for for me, and bringing it back to the hotel 10 mins away it was still warm and very delicious. The lady and gentleman running it were super friendly and helpful. There was a line when I got there about 8 am, but it was moving really quickly. I highly recommend! Probably swing back by on my last day here and pick up some more donuts for the road read more

Dolly's has been a must stop visit whenever I am at the coast since I was a kid. The place hasn't changed in over 30 years and that just the way I like it. Every time I step inside the shop I just smile thinking of all the delicious happy memories I have eating here. The donuts are very tasty and the service is great. If you are visiting the central coast Dolly's is a place you need to stop and try. read more

We were at Morro bay from Thursday and check out Saturday. My husband and I want to try something outside Embarcadero strip where you get all of the touristy eateries. I saw this place on Yelp where the locals go. We ordered Ham and Cheese croissant, cinnamon bun and bacon cronuts and small coffee totaling $19. The Ham and cheese was average, the cronuts would have been better if the bacons pieces were crispy vs the chewy. I enjoyed the cinnamon bun...soft and right amount of glazed and cinnamon. I missed the hazelnut coffee with 100% Arabica and it was smooth...great coffee! read more

Love starting my day off like this! For just under $6 I got a small milk, a maple cruller and a warm ham & cheese croissant! Doesn't get much better! I love donut shops that also offer savory goodies like croissants and if you don't arrive first thing in the morning they will always heat them up for you. The store is very small and retro but has a wide selection of goodies and it's cheap! By far the best value in town as everything is expensive near the ocean.
