We read about this tavern on yelp, where it had 4.5 stars. Accurate id say, but their app of Spin Dip was to die for. The cheese pull alone was worth of this yelp review. Delicious. The place was pretty quiet and so we got great service and the food came out quickly. My sandwich, the fried chicken was probably the worse thing we ordered and it was still ok. I love fried chicken, but not cheese and I forgot to ask the server for no cheese. My bad not theirs. The meatball sup and steak and cheese were delicious and the toasted bread added a real nice touch. We had the apple egg rolls for dessert, and the concept is great, but the taste wasn't quite there. Local packed tavern! I love it. I'm sure come warmer weather it's packed with out of state tourists but for now, it's perfect. Live music was also very impressive. Ordered Thai Chili wings (delicious) & the pickle pizza with Hamburg added to it. AMAZING! Highly recommend. I don't even like pickles and thought it was scrumptious. My other half loves to get Bloody Mary's, he said the best one he has ever had was here. Overall experience was great. This is only a 30min drive for us, so we will definitely be returning. read more

It was one of the best pizzas I've had. It's was a weird combo, but it works really well. I haven't seen the pizza at other restaurants, so it's worth going if your interested in this pizza in the area. read more

10 of us visited Fosters tavern on 1-12-25 after a local hike. They set us up in a great spot and were very quick at getting us drinks. I got the blackberry jalapeño margarita and it was soo good! Spicy and boozy! Everyone's food was really good and ranged from, turkey clubs, burgers, amazing salads and pizza. One of the pizzas was a loaded backed potato. Sounds strange but was pretty amazing! It's pretty hard to please 10 people but Fosters had no problem pulling it off. I know my wife and I will be going back and I sure our friends will as well. read more

Located on the sharp curve of Main St (NH 11) and Rand Hill Rd, Foster's Tavern is a local restaurant and bar which took over the former Freshwater Cafe and JP China building. The layout is similar to before, the bar lounge in the front with seating up at the bar and high top tables and the dining room in the back room with table seating. In the bar, there are several flatscreen TVs, Keno, and a TouchTunes digital jukebox, a great place to catch the game with food and drinks. They serve up a variety of cocktails and 8 beers on tap at the bar. The food menu offers typical pub fare including appetizers, wings, sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, chili, salads, pizzas, and a few desserts. I stopped by Foster's Tavern to catch Sunday football on the TVs and to grab some food. I sat myself at a high top table in front of one of TVs to catch my game which had the sound on, awesome! It took a few moments for the server to arrive to take my order. I started out with Calamari ($13 plus tax), which was a plate of deep fried breaded rings & tentacles served with marinara sauce for dipping. The server also brought over creamy wasabi dressing dip too. The breading was very crispy and the calamari was tender, not too chewy. After I finished the calamari, I placed an order for an Eggplant Pizza ($19 plus tax). The bar was fairly busy with more customers arriving here. It took about 25 minutes for my hot pizza to arrive as I was watching my game. The 14" Eggplant Pizza was loaded with ricotta cheese, fried eggplant slices, red sauce and melted mozzarella cheese on top on a thin soft doughy crust, a very good tasting pizza. I ate one slice of pizza and I was already stuffed from the calamari and an earlier meal. The server brought over a pizza box and more ice water. The check was presented which was $34.73 with tax and before tip. I settled up on the check, but I stayed in my seat to finish watching my game. read more
