There is no yelp page for just founders park/playground, so here are the pics of the playground. Its a brand new playground with the crazy new playground builds they do nowadays that I am not the biggest fan of for little kids because of how dangerous they make these playgrounds now. But its a nice playground. Has parking on both sides. Has restrooms. Baseball field, skatepark, basketball court. Plenty of ramadas and tables and benches. The playground has cool features on the ground for littles, but the big playground is hard to get up and down since one way up and its a weird ramp thing and the play structure is narrow for so many kids. There are 2 dog parks next to the playground. The splash pad is where its at though- so nice!!!! All gated it and enclosed- lots of seating in shade and also grass areas! So I would come back for the splash pad for sure!!! There is also a cool you and baby swing here too. read more

Parents!!! Have you been with your kiddos?!?! We drove by this park and splash pad many times. But never stopped in. Not sure what I was thinking! But I finally decided to stop in this summer. Plenty tables and chairs that are shaded around the splash pad. No matter where you sit you can enjoy your lunch and watch your little one enjoy the splash pad. read more

Great splash pad area, I especially like how it's fully gated so my toddler doesn't run away. The water is pretty cold but there's a lot of areas to play and places to sit as well. Each of the tables are under a shaded area so you can put your stuff down and watch your kids while sitting down too. It was a little busy but that's to be expected in the summer. Easy to find and lots of parking. We went right when it opened at 9am and there were still quite a bit of people. read more

What a great place to take the little ones. First, it's free. Second, it's a great way to cool down during those hot Arizona summer months. I'd say the average age range of kids is 1-12. Some adults will get in there to be with the smaller kids. There's plenty of shaded seats for the adults to relax under. There are monitors on duty to make sure all kids are following the basic etiquette rules. We've been a few times and our daughter loves the place. She always tends to partner up with other kids her age and they all have a blast moving from one splash area to another. Make sure to bring bottled water or juice boxes during breaks. Even around all the water kids can still get dehydrated in the heat. Oh yeah bring sun block too. And towels. Be ready to have fun. There's a skate park within walking distance from the splash pad so the older kids can shred while their younger siblings splash around. There's a public restroom nearby with water fountains in case you forgot the water. read more

We always have so much fun here! It's clean, lots of space to run and I love that it's gated off! We had my son's second birthday here a year ago and he LOVED it! we frequent this place often. My grandson loves this splash pad. I like that it has a gate around it. It'd be nice if the benches had a mister system or something.

Really great place to take the kids to run around and get wet. Not a lot of stuff but definitely enough fun for kids to tire themselves out for. There is lots of places to sit with shade, parking isn't too bad, there are some spots really close to the park. There is also a jungle gym park right next to the splash pad if you want to let your kids dry off. Also a skate park nearby if you have bigger kids. There really is a lot to do in this little area. read more

Still open during COVID. One of the best parks I've been too. Kids loved the splash pad.

This is a nice place to bring kids. It has several water features such as a tower that dumps a large amount of water in timed durations. It has several other smaller elevated water buckets that also drop water. A plus for parents is it has four covered sitting areas, so they can be sheltered from the sun as they watch the kids. Next to the spray park, there is a small playground as well as a skate park with a decent-sized ramp. I would come back here again with the kids. read more

I'm surprised there are no reviews of Founders Park! This is one of my favorite places to take my son and best of all it's free. There's a big soccer field, a playground, a few pergolas with picnic tables, a baseball field, basketball courts, a small skate park and of course the SPLASH PAD! Excellent for all ages and something for everyone. I throw a football in the trunk along with a lawn chair, a swimsuit, and a scooter or bike and boom! Your whole afternoon is set!! Right across the parking lot is a Mexican restaurant that we run to for chips and salsa or drinks if we're thirsty. This park is a perfect place to spend a few hours and let off some steam. Very relaxing, nicely landscaped, green grass and lots of trees.....we really love it.....and so does everybody else as it can get quite busy :) so lawn chairs or a blanket is a must. read more

Great splash pads for the kids. There are so many fun fountains for the kids to run around in. That said, beware of going if you have cuts on your body. My husband got a severe bacterial infection on his knee after kneeling down in the water in this place. It took 2 weeks and some killer antibiotics to get him back to normal. After that incident we haven't taken our kids back. We're too afraid of getting them sick there. read more

This is a well designed and fun water pad and there is a nice shady area for parents. We have been there about 3 times before and it is one of my kids' favorites. However, today they had some sort hall monitor lady there who walked around yelling at the kids for RUNNING! Really? At a splash pad? Of course they are running. It's a water park! There were very few people there - just our group really and we were watching the kids as we always do. But little boys are gonna run and yell and splash. After an hour, this uptight lady's shift was over and a replacement sat at the table and didn't mind this childish behavior! Our kids were relieved. But come on! Take the J out of joy, why don't you? read more
