It was a Saturday afternoon and I guess I was feeling spontaneous because as I was driving home, I noticed some new-looking buildings to my right that I had never noticed before. I took a quick glance and saw that Fount was in the plaza and immediately decided to make a pitstop! I had been wanting to try Fount Coffee + Kitchen for a while now so I was super happy to have seen it on my way home. I decided to park in front of the building and order my drink for curbside pickup online, since they seemed fairly busy. I ordered an iced pumpkin spice latte with oat milk but stopped myself there because everything else looked just as good. The drink came out at around a little less than $7 after tax + tip. It was an average wait (less than 15 mins) and once it was ready, I called them to pick up my order. A man greeted me by name when he brought my drink out to my car, masked and gloved up, and I was on my way. The drink itself was really good but still comparable to other coffee bars around town. Also, I don't remember now, but I'm fairly confident the latte was smaller than 20oz because I noticed the cup seemed a little bit short to me. I caught a glimpse of the inside when I was picking up my order and it looked really fun and modern. I can't wait to come back again to do some work by myself or with a friend and get to experience the space. The shop is bright and welcoming. They seem to really cater to those who may need to get work done. Plenty of outlets to plug up laptops. I went on a Saturday morning and all of the outdoor seating was taken. There were a few spots open inside though. The lady who took my order was very nice and friendly. Very short wait time for my coffee and food. I got a flat white which was (almost) too pretty to drink and the Morning Scramble to eat. Absolutely fantastic coffee and snacks. Well made coffee, we ordered 2 seasonal lattes, the burnt orange clove. It's just as good as it sounds. I'm really happy to have found this spot as there are not many lite breakfast options. We ordered a cacao smoothie bowl, spinach mushroom toast with avo and a green salad with avo and cilantro lime dressing. It all hit the spot, and the gluten free bread was especially flavorful and reminded me of sourdough. The salad dressing was great and went well with everything! read more

There are too many fabulous things I could say about this coffee shop. But I'm going to start off by talking about their phenomenal customer service which they have provided pre and during this crazy pandemic. COVID has been such a weird time, and top of that I was pregnant and just had my first baby. Their curbside was a savior to me while I was pregnant. I love their curry chicken honey yogurt skewers, broccoli and cold brew coffee. Every time I picked up an order (I went so often they knew me by name and my order) they were always upbeat, and never took too long to come out with my order. My food was always fresh and warm and delicious. You could tell it didn't just sit there. While I was pregnant I was addicted to their yogurt sauce and would eat it on everything. It wasn't available on their online ordering menu, but I was able to call to get extra, and they were able to charge it as an extra salad dressing side. That sauce it lit! On top of their customer service, the coffee shop is aesthetically pleasing and beautiful. I used to come here on my "work from home" days to work in shop and just chill. This place is phenomenal! The first time I discovered fount I was absolutely blown away by the staff, the ambience, and the quality! I keep coming back and experience the same quality of service and products every time. Everything at fount is made fresh and made to order. Their coffee is incredible and very addicting. Whatever you get coffee flavor wise you won't be disappointed. This time when I went, I was determined to try their breakfast. I was delighted that everything I ordered was still made with fresh ingredients. The only thing I would critique is that they give and or have bigger slices of bread. This is such a beautiful coffee shop tucked away in RTP. The ambiance incredibly trendy and cool. This was my first time here, and I tried a pumpkin spice latte. The latte was very tasty. I believe they use counter culture coffee, so the drinks are definitely high quality! In addition to coffee they serve food like acai bowls and breakfast foods. In terms of price, this is on the higher end of coffee shops. Expect to easily pay over $5 for a smaller size handcrafted drink. However, in my opinion the price fits the quality and experience you are getting. My only complaint is that a lot of other people like this coffee shop, too. IT does get really busy on the weekends. While they do have a few outdoor tables with umbrellas, it can be a little bit hard to get a table away from the crowds. read more

I came in today to try this place and it wasn't what I was expecting. I thought it'd be a low key coffee shop with assorted pastries and a nice environment for working. Instead, I discovered it's better suited for a coffee and a brunch/lunch date, considering the layout, sound levels, and busyness. Not a "knock" on this place, just something to plan accordingly for. I came in Saturday morning and the place was packed. Clearly a popular spot! There were a few people on computers but most were there just sharing a bite or a coffee with someone else. I got an almond milk latte and the cinnamon coffee cake. The cake was decadent and delicious -- lots of cinnamon, which I loved. The latte was also top quality. The service was very friendly and courteous. There was one odd moment when a seemingly unhappy female barista slammed down a table number quite forcefully right in front of me (when I was at the register and she was returning the number to the stack). Otherwise everyone was super friendly. Now that I know what this place is like, I'll likely be back to try one of their food menu items plus moooore coffee. read more

I loveeee this coffee shop so much! One of my favorite things about it is that they are very allergy friendly. They have a great selection of dairy free/vegan items and that is not entirely common in the area. Dairy free and vegan are called out and easy to identify on their menu, which gives me a peace of mind. I have tried a couple of their "stacks" - the Avocado Smash and the Banana Nut Butter. I really like how crispy the toast is and it really stands up to the ingredients on top and doesn't get soggy. The Avocado Smash is a great savory option, but my favorite was the Banana Nut Butter. I have also had a few different muffins - chocolate zucchini, blueberry streussel, and an apple cinnamon. The blueberry one was my ABSOLUTE favorite and I am craving another one right now. Their coffees are also really good. My go-to drink is the vanilla latte with oat milk. But my co-workers raved about the mocha and some of the other flavored lattes. It is also just a great space in general. The decor is very simple but trendy and there is so much natural light. I thought it would be expensive due to the high quality of the food, but it wasn't bad (and I'm very frugal)-- 6.5 for the morning stack, 3.5 for iced coffee, and 10 for big açaí bowl. The place was packed, but there's a bunch of seating in and outside to accommodate the foot traffic. You take a number, take a seat, and they bring the food to you when it's ready. Stopped by during one of their pop up markets. The line to get in was out the door, but everyone was social distancing, which was great. They had a lot of great offerings, but we went with the Açaí bowl, Bacon Stack with Avocado, and a Cappucino. I liked that we could scan the menu, and look while in line. I liked that the tables had cards on them for patrons to flip over once finished, stating that the tables were dirty, please wait for someone to clean them etc. The decor was minimal, but tasteful. Overall: great place to get some work done; enough seating but always lots of people; service is really nice; coffee is solid; food could be better Came here in between some doctors appointments to get some work done. It's a great place to meet up with friends or to do work from home with people. It is not that great of a place to do lectures or to do work that requires a lot of concentration because it is super loud. The original design of the coffee shop really includes enough seats but they may not have expected so many people to come here during the day - there were probably no less than 50 people in the cafe at any given time. They have a variety of seating - small tables, larger tables, large U shaped bar seating, and long table seating. There is also "overflow" bleacher seating as well. There may be a lot of people but with the variety of seating options, you can always find a seat. There are plenty of outlets as well and fast wifi. I got a regular drip coffee which was pretty standard, an açaí bowl and some chicken skewers. The açaí bowl was great and reasonably priced. The chicken skewers were also reasonably priced but they were pretty dry. I don't think I would recommend them in the future. The service is really nice and even though its more of a coffee shop vibe compared to a cafe vibe, they still have people going around picking up plates and mugs very frequently. The location is slightly separated from more lively areas. Overall would recommend again for meeting up with friends or getting some causal work done but not for the food or for times when you really need to concentrate. read more

Stopped in on a Sunday morning on way to our daughters soccer tournament. It was actually quite busy which is a good thing as it means that they are doing something right. I had a pumpkin spice latte and the mushroom and spinach toast and my hubbie had the nutmeg latte and avocado toast. Both of the toast were extremely delicious however they were a tad on the small serving side. I didn't mind it but if your hungry I recommend you order something else to accompany it. Third visit to Fount. Love this place. Everything is always delicious. Great lattes. Their cinnamon coffee cake is amazing, I dream of this coffee cake. Chicken skewers are so good and taste better mixed in the kale cauliflower salad. We also got an açaí bowl this time, which was yummy. The menu had the perfect selection of light breakfast foods, snacks, and lunch items to get you through the workday. I got the Greek salad with grilled chicken. Sounds pretty basic, but it was the best, most unique Greek salad I've ever had. The goat cheese literally made it the goat (greatest of all time) of all Greek salads. And I couldn't stop raving about the chicken. I almost considered ordering another. My vanilla latte was presented beautifully. The taste mirrored its complex, yet delicate design. The buttery aroma paired well with the sweet notes and light body for a well-balanced coffee. The only draw-back is the little space that doesn't fit it's popularity. It can get a bit noisy, so if you have meetings that require you to speak, I don't recommend. However, this makes for an excellent place for a coffee break or to grab a bite with your colleagues. We came on a Sunday morning around 9:30 AM and it was busy but not crazy busy, more like a relaxing coffee spot vibe. The smoothie bowl was a great bang for your buck and tasted amazing. One of the best, if not THE best, bowls I've had. That's definitely going to be something I crave from them. The toasts had such delicious and fresh ingredients but my husband did wish that there was an option to do something along the lines of one toast for $6 or two toasts for $10 because he was still hungry after just one. The "cold coffee on tap" was a good cold brew but I do wish you could choose sizes, I felt like it was a little small but I also didn't want to order an entire second coffee. Great service, beautiful interior, and great food. We drove to Fount on a Sunday morning and easily found parking in the designated parking lot. The interior was clean, spacious and beautifully decorated with an open kitchen feel. We got a morning scramble, almond butter/blueberry/banana on toast, a cortado, and a chocolate zucchini muffin. The cortado was super strong and bitter but there was sugar and milk available next to the complimentary water. As the bread is gluten free, it was a bit more on the cracker texture but both our meals were delicious. The service was definitely 5 stars as everyone was super friendly and accommodating. The entire menu is gluten-free and they have also labeled their dairy-free and vegetarian options very clearly! I got a roasted root vegetable salad and I loved it. It was so fresh and hearty, with the right notes of seasonings. However, my favorite was the coffee-cinnamon cake. It had a coco nutty flavor to it but, you could not tell it was gluten-free. I am guessing they have used coconut flour as an alternative. Their staffs were very friendly and welcoming.
