High quality for the price you pay, and very minimalist environment in a beautiful space. The bakery items are always fresh, they have a variety of GF, DF and V options to choose from. I have no dietary restrictions, but the fact that it can taste THAT good without diary or gluten is impressive to me. Their kombucha on tap is fantastic, along with their lemongrass hot tea which is goof for allergy season. Their tea comes with a little plate and saucer and it allows your tea to cool faster so that you can enjoy it sooner. My favorite bakery item is their GFchocolate zucchini muffin. Get it every time! Update: I came here the other day and ordered (what I thought was a much bigger!) iced latte. 8 oz for $7? That a hard pill to swallow. This space is located by the aloft hotel on chapel hill road..sort of a random area but still nice to have in the area. Beautiful interior--VERY busy on a late Saturday morning! We ordered our drinks to go because there was no seating left.. We sat on the big steps to the left as we waited for our drinks and noticed that the stadium-style steps allows for people to sit on a step above you and their shoes (and all the nasty stuff on them) could be right next to where you place your coffee and plate of food! So unlike some of the customers I saw enjoying their food that way, I strongly recommend eating and drinking at an actual table and not the steps. The coffee was pretty good. After moving here 6 months ago I FINALLY found an amazing coffee house! Their coffee beans taste fresh and have full body. I could literally taste the care and time placed in my lattes. Been wanting to try Fount Coffee + Kitchen for a while, and finally got a chance to a couple Saturday's ago. The service is super nice without the pretension synonymous with a "hipster" coffee place. The space is pretty cool, open and airy. The fact that the big doors were open and the inside and outside were combined definitely added to the experience. I don't think I would have enjoyed my time there as much if I wasn't sitting outside on a beautiful morning. We got two mochas a spinach and mushroom stack with chicken, and an avocado toast. The toasts were both quite soggy but taste-wise were good. Coffees were also good, if not smaller than expected. The menu here is overpriced for what it is. read more

I'm so glad there is a coffee shop like this in Morrisville! I haven't tried the food enough to speak on it's quality but their coffee is great. I've tried the vanilla latte and their chai latte - both were excellent. I do feel it is a bit pricy for the amount you receive compared to other coffee places I've been to in the area - but otherwise, the quality of the espresso is excellent. This is my new favorite coffee shop in the Triangle area. Hands down. Every food item, from their smoothie bowls, the breakfast stack, to their small plates, have been incredible. Even though fount claims to be for everyone, the vibe is heavily hipster, college-aged, crunchy folks. And yet, even though it is very hipster, when I asked if they had matcha latte rather than say no they don't offer it the cashier went into a long, drawn-out monologue about how matcha doesn't fit their vibe. I'm sorry, what?? It's a tea. How can a tea not 'fit your vibe'? Last I checked you were a coffeeshop/teashop? Not sure what you're gaining by completely avoiding to provide it. Also this coffee was horrible- 2.75 for a large which is tiny . Wish I had gotten an espresso drink, maybe they know what they're doing there, or the batch of coffee was just bad the day i tried. Also- i was expecting the avocado smash to be on a nice thick slice of grilled artesian bread. It was instead on a paltry tiny soggy slice of multigrain store bought basic bread, that tasted very stale. Otherwise would have been a great dish. This is almost a 5-star review, based on atmosphere, comfort, delicious food and quiet space. The coffee is thisclose too. I had a vanilla oat milk latte. It was light, and flavorful. Not as rich as other oat milk lattes I've had- but still nice and hot. It was easy to find a seat, individual spots at the bar, a large communal table and single 1-2 people tables. At one point, the line was almost out the door but it moved quickly. I had one of their "stacks"- the scramble with added avocado. Very good! The toast was nice and crispy, the eggs hot! I work from home full-time, so usually I venture out a couple times a week to break up the monotony. I'm so glad I finally tried this place! The WiFi is fast and the coffee is tasty. There's several tables within outlet-distance in case you're the type to stick around a while. The cashier was super friendly, and they deliver your food to you which is great if you need to hop on calls after you order. There is a huge community table and quite a few bar stools around the counter, so finding a seat shouldn't be a problem. Obviously the noise level is that of a typical coffee shop, but I was able to talk on the phone and hear just fine. I will definitely be back soon! read more

The woman at the register was nice but I seriously didn't like the food or drink. No fault to them but it was gross. I got the avocado toast which is there best seller from what I was told. The avocado was warm, bland, with some kind of seeds or nuts mixed in with red pepper flakes on top. It was layered thick on a small piece of regular wheat toast. I also ordered a cold brew with caramel syrup but that was also gross with the caramel bits of syrup. Again, no fault to the business but I did NOT enjoy anything. Oh my! I found this piece of heaven last week and I've been back four times since then. I'm not even sure where to begin with how impressed I have been in my every encounter with this splendid place. I suppose I'll start with the people. When you walk in you are greeted with cheery faces of people who clearly are genuinely happy to be interacting with you and serving you. No matter how busy it gets, the service is spectacular. The people there seem to care about you and how your day is going which makes you feel immediately like you're in a warm and welcoming environment. Next you see their GORGEOUS espresso machine, and you know they mean business! The lattes at Fount are probably some of the best in Raleigh. I have been nothing short of impressed each time. Then we move onto the food. Ah. The glorious, organic, gluten-free food. I've been gluten free for a while and it's great that more restaurants are offering gluten-free options, but to have a an entire menu that is gluten-free just makes my heart soar! In giving up gluten, they certainly have not compromised taste. I've enjoyed many stacks there and I would particularly recommend the spinach-mushroom or avocado smash. Also today I tried the roasted root salad and it was simply divine! Once again I am impressed! Here you can enjoy a guilt free, delectable meal as you study or meet with a friend. All of these wonderful things are topped off by a calming, pure aesthetic in an environment that promotes community and love. You leave Fount feeling that the world is a better place. After an 8 mile hike at Umstead State Park we were looking for a cool lunch spot and we found it at Fount! We were greeted by Katie, one of the owners, who made us feel very welcome. We both had the Avocado Stack and the Roasted Broccoli. My friend had a cappuccino and I had a decaf pour over with oat milk. The Stack was amazing however the broccoli was unexpectedly spicy(we missed the cayenne pepper on the ingredient list). Katie was quick to offer another menu item when we commented the broccoli was too spicy, and she brought us a bowl of the popcorn, an amazing mix of local honey and sea salt! Personal favorites of mine are the spinach stack (add bacon for a little extra), the chicken skewers, and the homemade pop tarts. The whole kitchen is gluten-free, so if you have allergen issues it's a dream! It does get a little loud inside when it's full, but that's an acoustics issue and not really a detractor if you have good earbuds/headphones! Staff is super friendly and kind too. Their bowls and stacks are so fresh and tasty and also such a great size - you are paying a certain price for the level of ingredients they use but for the quantity you get I think it's more than fair :) The space is so cool and everyone who works there is so friendly.
