Service was really great - everyone working there was so sweet and cheerful in the midst of hustle and bustle at 8am in the morning. My coffee was ready relatively fast given the amount of people there, and they bring it to you instead of calling the number for you to get yourself. I did not try their food, and my coffee was alright. I was not woahed, but it was also not bad. They do have seasonal drinks which is nice to try! It has a beautiful open space and cute outdoor seating area. But it is not a good place to do work. I came here on a Wed morning hoping to do work here but the noise level was unexpected :( People were yelling in order to hear each other like at live music bars!! Everything we got was great! I really liked our sparkling blueberry lemonade, it def tasted like they made it in-house without artificial sweeteners and ingredients. I ended up visiting the Fount at the beginning of May after a particularly stressful moving day, and it turned out to be a place that truly turned my day around. I was first greeted at the cash register by a tall guy with glasses and a beard. He took the time to chat with me about my recent move to Raleigh, offering genuine conversation and was just SO nice. Important review of the food - I had a salad with chicken and a coffee cake and both were delicious!!! I can't wait to get both again! There were other good looking options on the menu as well. Also, what I loved about this place was seeing the employees interact with one another - they seemed like they all enjoyed being around each other and it was very cool to see! Always a great experience at fount. Tried the seasonal peanut butter latte and it was perfect. Not too sweet and presentation was amazing. Their toasts are also all delicious and done on fresh bread. We loved It here so much we came back 4 days later. The avocado smash with a fried egg on it is one of my favorite avocado toasts ever. My son is gluten free and thought the bread was the best he's had...he took a loaf on the plane back to Detroit! Super pleasant counter service. Busy so you have to watch for a table. We ate outside the first day and were lucky to get an indoor table the second day. It still was pretty packed and busy but we decided to give it a shot. Service was friendly and we were able to get a table. Super loud in the restaurant due to all the people. This was the second time I came here for breakfast on my way to work one morning, to grab some food to go, and I was NOT disappointed. Wow is it a busy lil cafe! There's not a ton of food items on the menu but that's OK in my book because they've mastered what they've got. This time I ordered the pumpkin spice latte as well as the morning scramble which came with scrambled eggs, bacon, and mozzarella. You can taste the freshness with every bite! I always pass by this coffee shop and finally stopped by this morning. I can't believe I've been missing out on this place for so many years but glad to finally try it! I needed a place to work for a few hours on a Saturday morning and am so happy I chose it. First off, the customer service is top-notch. The environment is very open, bright, and friendly, and they have outdoor seating as well, which is great for when the weather is nice. Service: You order your food at the front counter and help yourself to a table. The service has always been super friendly, and our food and drinks always come out in a timely manner. Food: We've tried several of Fount's menu items. For drinks, we've tried their Iced Coffee, Batch Brew, and Hot Vanilla Latte. The Iced Coffee is refreshing and well caffeinated. Their Batch Brew is also very solid and reasonably priced, especially for the ambiance. The Vanilla Latte is perfectly sweet with notes of strong espresso still coming through. For food, we've tried their Avocado Smash Stack, Morning Scramble Stack, and Honey Nut Pear Stack with added Prosciutto. None of the stacks have disappointed! All of the ingredients have been fresh, perfectly assembled, and presented beautifully! Overall: Fount is one of our favorite coffee shops in the Triangle! Last week I stayed at the hotel behind Fount for work and came across this place without looking at any Yelp reviews. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and spacious it was inside, as well as with the gluten-free and vegan friendly options available. The first morning I ordered the Avocado Smash Stack with a fried egg and an iced Americano with vanilla syrup and almond milk. Everything tasted fresh and was delicious. The second morning I ordered the Banana Nut Butter Smash with the same drink, and oh my GOSH was it delicious! I can't stop talking about this place. This is such a nice, modern coffee and breakfast spot! I'm so glad I stopped by and hope to return. I opted for a cacao smoothie bowl. You're able to customize the toppings for bowls on their menu, or completely customize your smoothie bowl. It honestly tastes like a healthy dessert instead of breakfast. The ingredients are fresh. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite and was sad when it was gone. The iced latte is strong and creamy. The servers are so pleasant and energetic. Our order came out pretty quickly despite the busy morning. The space is a bit larger than your regular coffee shop. It's also well lit with bright lights and with natural light. My neighbor and I came out for coffee and breakfast. Fount was packed on a Friday morning; there were hardly any tables! We sat on the risers after ordering and got a table after someone else packed up their work. I enjoy the atmosphere here. Come to meet your friends and colleagues, and come to chill and grind out work. I got the Paradise smoothie bowl. It is topped with coconut flakes, blueberries, bananas, and chia seeds. I love these bowls since they are full of healthy nutrients! My neighbor got an Avocado Smash and later got the same thing I had. I must have caught his attention. One of my friends suggested I get a latte with salted caramel syrup. I appreciate the recommendation; the drink was excellent! I have heard about Fount for so long and never made the time to go. One morning my husband and I had some time after an event right down the road. We were hungry and drove right past it-then made a U-turn to try it out. FINALLY! Boy we are so glad we did. The place was hopping! It was full of people-some working, but most socializing. Everyone was cheerful and the workers all seemed to get along so well with each other. They were the epitome of what TEAM means. We found a quiet table outside. It was slightly chilly, but I love crisp, fall mornings. They brought out our food and it was SO GOOD! The coffee was too! While we were there, our daughter called us and we invited her to join us after her practice down the road. Same thing for her-she raved over what she chose. The refreshing thing about it all was the fact that every employee (and I watch) had a smile on their face, pep in their step and they worked together like a well-oiled machine.
