My go to coffee for about 2 years now! I go 3x a week for my fix lol. The baristas are so cool and sweet theyre the best! I love that they're quick yet their coffee/drinks are consistently great! I havent been back to starbucks since i found them 2 years ago and i even make a slight detour to get the protein shaken espresso or when its the fall season the muddy chai. Cute little cube of a coffee stop but not my fav. Service is good but again not my fav probably because of the time of day I stopped. The espresso tastes more like burnt coffee and the oat milk was so thin it reminded me of cows milk, which I had. So I'll have to pass on this establishment. read more

Recipes have changed since the new owner took over. Been twice and they did not have fruit slinger ingredients. The flavorings for the mudslinger have been cut in half. The new staff aren't properly trained in making drinks and take short cuts. Sometimes I'm sucking the chocolate syrup from the bottom of the cup because it wasn't thoroughly mixed. At least twice I didn't get my points. No response to emails from the app or on X. What a shame. read more

The #1 thing I love about this place is that it's delicious coffee FAST. On our way to an early morning event, we stopped by Mudslingers and I ordered the Mudslinger and my husband ordered the cinnamon sugar mini donuts. Both we're delicious! What a fun little find. Locally brews coffees and treats. The syrup options are almost endless. A fun drive through coffee option off Thousand Oaks by the elementary school. I grabbed the mini donuts, salted caramel (my favorite) cinnamon sugar, and spiced apple cider. My drink selection was even better. German chocolate cake with a splash of cookie butter. Dreamy!!!! Finally got to try mudslingers. I had the Malibu macchiato with soy milk and it was so amazing and I also tried the green apple Italian cream soda and it was very delicious. I think next time I'm going to try the pineapple cream soda. If you haven't been to mudslingers, I highly suggest it . I can ever find a coffee shop that can make my drink exactly the way I want it and mudslingers was able to do that without me giving them any instructions so I left extremely happy with my drink. read more

I walk here from my apartment, most days with my corgi because we love the coffee and need the exercise. I love their cappuccino. This is a drive-thru or walk up establishment, so it is truly a "grab and go." They have a nice rewards system and always give my boy a pup cup with whipped cream and a treat. This is the best place hands down that I've gotten coffee from. It's way cheaper than Starbucks and I feel they treat you like one of their own. When I go I get the German chocolate blended coffee it's amazing. The staff there is amazing and they are polite and courteous. They also have donuts and other good treats. Love the nut n honey latte! Always ask for it half sweet. The staff is also very friendly and plays along with me when they give my 4 year old an iced "coffee" (chocolate milk)! They make sure to say it's a coffee when handing it over. Love this place and the punch card reward system. The new location now has a walk up window. Okay, so I recently moved into the area and I've always been curious about this adorable little drive-thru coffee spot. First and foremost, the crew working here is incredibly sweet! It genuinely makes a huge difference when the person making your morning pick-me-up is kind and caring. I'm super indecisive (I know, it's annoying), but they never make me feel like I'm a bother. They always offer their input and suggestions on what I should order. I want to make sure everyone understands: this coffee will seriously wake you up! It's exactly what I want and need. Have been wanting to try this place and I finally had the chance to try to last week. I got a medium Cinnamon Bunn Avalanche with almond milk blended, I can definitely say that I had made the right choice it was good I got the prefect blend of cinnamon and sugar it was really like a cinnamon bun in a cup 10/10 will definitely go back. This little hidden gym in the parking lot of Parkwood Place is a God send. I come here alot for their cinnamon bun avalanche with an extra shot and it is heaven! The ladies here are very friendly and you can tell they enjoy what they do. Each time I've been, they've taken the time to ask about my day and chit chat. Their system is great for handling volumes of cars, and they get your order while you are waiting in line so when you get to the front it's pretty much ready to go and you can cash out and be on your way. They also have a card towards earning free drinks after so many punches. I can't wait to get back and try some of their other drinks in the future! read more

This place is fabulous! I've been looking for a great local coffee place and this is it! The hubby and I shared a large coffee, the mudslinger. It was super sweet so if you're not about that, then try something else. I am, however, a big fan of the occasional sweet coffee. We also shared the mini donuts which we weren't big fans of. Just not our jam. The caramel ones were much better than the cinnamon ones in my opinion. The baristas were very friendly and quick! We were there around 3ish and there was only one other car ahead of us. I'd imagine it gets pretty busy because this place is delish! read more

I ordered a green apple lightening bolt and the last two times it hasn't been made right so I called to request a refund and whoever was on the phone wasn't willing to give me it so I'll just be making my own drinks at home. When I moved to S from Austin, I literally cried as I drove away from Austin Java for the last time, for the foreseeable future back in July. I found Mudslingers after a few weeks of canvassing for a new coffee shop that meets my needs for different-but-the-same coffee drinks, and with multiple alternatives to milk. I've been impressed every time I've been here over the last few months, every time the people are exuberant with excellent customer service skills. This morning I saw they had seasonal drinks, I usually get their "muddy chai" extra shot, oat milk, macadamia nut syrup iced or hot, it's what I drink most often and discovered at Austin Java. So this morning, I'm like "can I somehow mix the eggnog with oat milk and muddy chai? And they did it! I got it hot, but it's SOOO good. There's something about a good dirty chai that reminds me that everything is gonna be ok, and as silly as it seems, I find a lot of my happiness if coffee on my hardest days, so they have not disappointed! We ordered the cappuccino and the regular drip on our recent visit to Mudslingers. The wait in line was not terrible, even with two cars ahead of us on a Sunday afternoon. We didn't care much for the coffee here though; the drip coffee and espresso in the cappuccino were both pretty weak and the cream and sweetener overtook the flavor of the drinks. This may be fine for some palates, but I prefer to fully enjoy the rich nuances of distinct coffee flavors without heavy syrups or overabundant creamers detracting from the true quality and enjoyment of the brewed coffee or espresso taste. We also ordered a dozen of the small donuts. They're perfect snack size for a treat on-the-go. The cinnamon sugar were pretty good, but skip the salted caramel flavor--these were on the 'really' salty side for a sweet treat. Would probably not return, even for the adorable little donuts. read more

Was on this side of town and heard hype about this place. Did not disappoint. Menu was extensive and I couldn't choose, all sounded really delicious. I ended up with a caramel macchiato iced because I'm basic and that's my go to. Was as delicious as they described. Customer service was great and they were super fast! I LOVE this drive through coffee kiosk. They have the best service. We're always served with a smile and time permitting, they may offer up a chat to personalize the experience. Service is quick and beverages are great. This is my go to, definitely prefer this place to Starbucks when it comes to the coffee. Of course, one can't lounge around but it's their main purpose and model. One other thing I like about this neighborhood coffee drive thru is their rewards program. It's a tiny little shack in the parking lot, so keep your eyes peeled. ***IT'S SO WORTH IT!*** Yes, this is the fru fru coffee you've been looking for! Wendy and Thomas Andrews took over ownership from Wendy's mom, Sandy in the spring of 2022. Our goal is to provide the most enjoyable drive through coffee experience while still valuing our neighbors' time. When they're not at the shop, Wendy is a speech pathologist and Thomas is a public high school teacher.

The Catalina Avocado Toast had fresh mozzarella, ripe tomato sliced, and delicious avocado atop multigrain toast. Tasty! Last but not least was the Mediterranean Pizza. Cauliflower crust was crispy and tasty. Fresh arugula, kale, mushrooms, and zucchini did not make the crust soggy like lots of vegetables in pizza tends to do. Decent serving size for $12 (we added chicken for a few more dollars). LifeCafe has a menu with variety, plus rotating daily specials. For something even quicker, they have premade meals that you can take to-go or they will microwave it for you. And they make those all in-house as well, so freshness should not be a problem! My fiancé and I picked up a couple of drinks this morning from On The Grind, and our stomachs are royally paying for it. I'd like to start out by saying that the baristas were super delightful and cheerful despite having just opened up while it was still dark outside at 5 am. They were great, I just wish I could say the same about the drinks. We ordered the Sandlot, blended with 'the works,' and an iced Grasshopper alongside a Blueberry Muffin Top. The Sandlot was supposed to be a s'mores beverage, but the flavors were too muddled to identify anything resembling a s'more. The syrup was too sweet and chemically and did NOT work well with the chocolate. It felt like they were at odds against one another in the drink, there was absolutely no marshmallow taste, and to top it all off the espresso was burnt. We had to really mix the chocolate up from the bottom to try to cut said burnt espresso taste, but that just made the clashing of flavors even worse. The Grasshopper was sour. I initially thought it might be the creme de menthe battling with the white chocolate as the flavors once again did not balance with each other in the slightest, but no, the drink was sour. This drink was not mixed well, the burnt espresso growing more offensive with each sip. We'd hoped the Blueberry Muffin Top would help get rid of the downright foul and lingering taste of these drinks from our tastebuds, but it just added to the chaos tasting like a slightly more upscale Little Debbie mini muffin, chemicals and everything. It was too sweet and needed something more bitter to pair with it, but the coffees were far too nasty and bitter to warrant consumption. My fiancé and I will typically finish drinks that we've purchased, even if we're not fans of them, since we consider it a waste of money not to. We put these beverages down after we consumed a little less than a quarter of each one because they were legitimately undrinkable. Between the burnt espresso, sour liquid, and disgusting syrups, we had to tap out. We couldn't even make it through half of the Muffin Top. I'm thankful that we didn't force ourselves to eat or drink more of these because we are in wicked physical pain right now. If I wasn't so ill I would be more livid as an ex-barista that they thought it was okay to serve these to customers. I'd leave a one star for the garbage quality and food poisoning alone but the baristas genuinely were so kind to us, so it gets two.
