Pumpkin cookie butter latte and lemon blueberry scone and pop tart

Such a cute little coffee shop, I didn't know that press coffee had a second location. The worker was sweet and so helpful on what to order. The coffee was really good and tasted like coffee not just sweetener. The pastries are from bakery Lorraine and they were great as always. I would definitely be back!

Such a cute spot tucked away on West Ave. The coffee is just as great as the Broadway location. All the pastries cooked amazing behind the glass. It was pretty busy many groups hanging out around 10 on a Saturday.Service was quick and I was on my way. But I look forward to hanging out next time!

I've always heard great things about Press Coffee so I was excited to finally give it a try. This location is beautiful and has a cozy vibe perfect for getting some work done with a few tables and even a couch. The barista recommended the strawberry matcha which was good but leaned more like a strawberry milk drink than a true matcha. The matcha flavor wasn't very strong so I'd probably try something different next time. That said the service was quick and super friendly and I'll definitely be back to try their coffee and spend some time working here.

    Iced Matcha Latte

Delicious matcha and chill vibes! Former coffee shop and specialty tea shop barista here! I visited Press last week for the first time and was delighted with my experience there. This café has such a chill atmosphere, one half harboring a cozy vibe with an eclectic feel, while the other half had more of an office or work space elegance. It was so neat to see! There are lots of prepackaged snacks to buy as soon as you walk in opposite a large self serve bar, but everything in the pastry counter next to the register looked even more delicious. I believe I may have chatted with the owner at the register after she took my order, and she was the absolute sweetest person ever. I ordered an Iced Matcha Latte and it was super delicious! It was crafted excellently with a smooth but not too creamy consistency, and was sweetened with their made-in-house Vanilla. The Vanilla itself was so tasty and gave the Latte an oversized good flavor balance of earthy and sweet. My one minor gripe is that there was a little too much ice in the drink. The ice chips melted faster and watered down the drink closer to the end, so I'd recommend asking for light ice to avoid the problem altogether. I'd highly recommend Press for café goers. I expect that you'll have just as good an experience as mine. Just be sure to bring a jacket if you decide not to sit out on their patio as the café is a little chilly!

Pumpkin spice latte (decaf) delicious!!! 10/10

Drink I tried the pumpkin spice latte (decaf) since its that time of the year and also I am not an avid coffee connoisseur. However I was looking for a place with relaxing vibes and quiet. This place offered that and more! The drink was full of pumpkin spice which made each sip addicting! They also sell various baked goods (breads) that seemed delicious! Service Able to ask the employer of my decaf needs with ease! Very friendly service. Ambiance By far, my favorite! The music was not too loud in my opinion. I would say groovy music and it was enjoyable for sure. Around the place there are various decorations such as jewelry, plants, and knick knacks to look at. They have abundant seating inside and outside which makes this perfect for studying or relaxing with friends or even solo! I enjoyed my time here and will be back!

Lemon glazed muffin and pumpkin spice latte

Service was great. Great atmosphere. It wasn't quiet though. It is pricey. For a sweet and a seasonal drink, it was $12. I never go to coffee shops so I expected to pay a lot. The lemon glaze muffin was moist, not too sweet, not too lemony. Pumpkin spice latte was with whole milk and 2 espresso shots. It felt too milky, but I don't drink much lattes so it's probably just me. Would come back for ambiance and choose either a drink or a sweet :)

Lucky 600th review goes to Press Coffee's Castle Hills location. Castle Hills is blessed with many coffee shops in the area, but for some reason, I hadn't made my way to Press's spot here. I've been a fan of the Broadway location, and I hoped this one evoked the same otherworldly feeling the ole greenhouse provided. It doesn't. But it still has its own charm, and it also seems to have more space - something the Broadway location lacks. The same delicious selection of baked goods line their small pastry case, as does the selection of beans for sale. Walking in kinda reminded me of another cafe I haven't been to in a while, mainly how there's a middle wall/shelf dividing two seating areas. One side seemed more lounge-y and the other seemed more cafe-y. The folks working behind the counter were very nice and had great taste in music. The one who took my order was patient with me as I rattled off a list of items (all for me!!) - the bacon frittata, a cortado, and a white chocolate latte. She said it'd be 5 minutes for the frittata, which I didn't mind at all, but I appreciated the heads up all the same. She also asked if whole milk was ok for both drinks. I sat in the cafe-y side of the.. cafe. There were people outside on their patio, and a dog. Next time I'll need to bring Bucky! The cortado was alright, but the white chocolate latte is where they really shined. It was velvety, smooth, and delightful. The barista had mentioned it was one of her favorites; I can see why. The frittata was warmed up perfectly and was a very light and satisfying breakfast. Before I left I ordered a pecan bar to go. I took one more look around to soak up the atmosphere. Overall, I was very very pleased with this location. While it may not be as whimsical as their Broadway spot, it's still a must-visit. It's cozy, inviting, and a great location to bring friends.

I love this coffee shop! Our first time here and I'm impressed. Plenty of seating, cozy with tables and comfy seating options. There are lots of plants and natural light, which I love! There were a lot of food options that are in packages (not made there) and service was good. The baristas were busy when we got there but they let us know they would be with us soon and were friendly when we ordered. Prices were good and my peppermint mocha latte and my husband's vanilla latte were both delicious! Can't wait to go back. They also have free WiFi, so I'll probably go back to work.

Love this place! The vibes are so peaceful and live coming here to study and read. The coffee is absolutely delicious! Love the snack area always comes in clutch!!

    Darian C.

Very cute inside and lots of outlets for studying! The music was kind of loud when I went though and the chairs that I sat in were a bit uncomfortable after a while (I stayed for 6 hours, it started getting uncomfortable around hour 3 so it might not be applicable). The latte I got was good and not too sweet!

    Roxann G.

This place is very relaxing and calm. The employees are very friendly and the quick with the service. My nephew had a bacon egg and cheese sandwich as I just had meat and cheese snack. They have WIFI as well as outdoor seating. The decorations are unique and the location is great. We will be coming back.

    Heidi R.

The coffee was great, I got a 20oz caramel latte with vanilla cold foam and it came out very quickly and exactly how I would've wanted it. The environment of the store is so cute as well, I saw children with their parents, a teenager reading a book, and somebody working on a computer; so it proves to be a solid coffee shop climate. The service was fine, nothing of notice just the basic back and forth of ordering and then I got my coffee relatively fast. Overall a little expensive and not too noteworthy but a very good coffee shop nonetheless.

Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing, which is why I'm giving 3 stars. I ordered the veal Schnitzel with mushroom gravy (Jägerschnitzel) and red cabbage. The red cabbage was also very undercooked and completely lacked flavor. Overall, I personally did not find the food authentic or representative of true German cooking. What truly saved this experience was the outstanding customer service. Our server, Joseph, was attentive, professional, and genuinely kind throughout the meal.
