I arrive at the store and a girl with black hair told me she cannot make my juice because they turned off the juicers. At this time, I was disappointed, but not mad. I simply asked if they'll refund me then. That girl said yes. Days later, I've called multiple times and spoken to the store. I have my receipt on the app as proof. I feel as if the lady taking my order was annoyed with my questions, but I genuinely didn't know how their topping system worked. She seemed bothered by any question or small request like asking for more napkins. All of that would have been whatever, but I get into my car and I'm the first spoonful.. I find a hair. :( and not only that, but I wish she would have explained to me that the topping to smoothie ratio was so weird because I feel like I got skimped completely on my toppings and now I have all this yogurt with literally nothing to eat it with. Used to be a really good juice it up but they hired a new lady who doesn't make the smoothies very well (very watery and not much flavor). She is also not very friendly and can be rude especially when I asked her to remake the smoothie (because it had no taste). Grabbed a juice and blue bowl yogurt to go before long drive back to OC. In the middle of eating the blue bowl on the freeway. Saw a curly black hair a few bites in, and called the store. They insisted it wasn't a hair, that it was just a seed. It was not a seed; look at the photo below, pulled it out onto the napkin for better inspection. I asked for a refund on the blue bowl and they hung up on me. First time with a bad experience at a Juice It Up. Bad enough that there was a hair in my partially eaten yogurt, but the customer service is atrocious too. Update: Juice It Up Headquarters in Irvine reached out to help resolve this issue. While they asked the actual store to contact me multiple times, the store owners did not. I'm giving headquarters 3 stars because they tried to make things right. My sister and I were out and about and she felt like a smoothie so we made a stop at Juice it Up. I wish it was a little closer to my house I would come here more often. They have a really good variety of smoothies, fruit and veggie blends, and fresh juices. My sister got the immuniser for the largest cup it was about $10 which seems a little steep but it was 16 ounces of freshly pressed fruits and vegetables. I got the lava flow which was really good as well. It was pineapple, coconut, and yogurt. It was refreshing and not too sugary. The service here is spot on. There's never a long line and if it does get crowded they still have your juice ready for you in no time. They have a good selections of snacks as well I like their blueberry muffins. read more
