Pleasantly surprised for our one night stay here for a hockey game. The room was pretty spacious and very clean. The bed was comfortable. The view wasn't great but we didn't really care since we were only staying over night. What did suck was the noisy super early morning trash day, with the huge dumpsters below in the construction zone! (Way before 6am is not cool) Parking was $20 bucks a day but was located inside a gated garage. It was awesome that the the garage elevator went directly to the floors of the rooms. Overall it was a nice stay for the price we paid. We would probably stay here again next time we're in Seattle for a hockey game!

Pleasantly surprised by our last minute booking for a 2 night stay here. Hotel is located on a quiet cul de sac with views of the Space Needle from some of the rooms. Space Needle is only a 12 minute walk from the hotel. Rooms were spacious and clean. Bed/pillows were comfortable. House keeping is only offered every other day. Staff responded to my request for more towels on the Bonvoy app within 15 minutes. Parking: $20/day located inside a gated garage. I liked that the the garage elevator went directly to the floors of the rooms. Overall, nice accommodation for the price we paid. Will stay here again next time we're in Seattle!

Decent place to stay but a lot of construction all around...early morning wake up to Jack hammers etc great friendly staff! Not one was dismissive or rude. Very accommodating! You can catch a shuttle to the pier at various time for about $11 a person!

This review is complicated so I'll just get right to the facts. Pros: -The Service and staff is great! Everyone is very friendly and accommodating! - The Bed is sooooooo comfortable! It was great! - The room and the hotel in general are very clean. - $5 voucher if you skip housekeeping service is a plus! - There's a bar and a restaurant at the hotel. Cons: - $20 A DAY PARKING FOR HOTEL GUESTS!!!!!!!!! Are you [expletive] kidding me?! I get that parking in downtown Seattle is at a premium, but jeez louise! That was beyond ridiculous! I felt silly paying that but what other alternative did I have for my rental car? *sigh* - The WORST hotel room view I have ever had in my entire life! My hotel room literally looked out onto a giant scaffold, an alley with garbage and a broken couch, and a dilapidated building. Good grief! My window curtain stayed closed the entire time I was there. I have never seen some mess like that! - The walls are SUPER DUPER THIN! I was so glad that no one was on either side of my room it seemed, and because I was on the third floor, I didn't hear anyone above me either. However, the last two nights that I stayed here (I stayed a total of 3 nights during MLK weekend), I was awakened in the wee hours of the morning (1am - 3am) to the sound of people down the hallway talking, and banging/knocking on the wall/doors. It was astonishing to me, and also creepy AF. - There was no bathtub in the room, only a walk-in shower. I typically only take showers, however I was sore after a full day of sight-seeing and was in desperate need of a soak, and sadly couldn't have one because there was no tub in the room. Don't get me wrong, the shower is very nice and spacious but still, I my need was not met. - Outlet on the desk did not work! Ugh, there were hardly any convenient outlets in my room. There was one outlet that literally was covered up by an outlet cover. So surely, why the hell would the outlet bay that you have on top of the desk not work?! That left me with only being able to use the outlet bay on top of the left side nightstand. I slept on the right side of the king of the bed, so it made for much inconvenience having my phone charged and not near me while in the bed. There were no outlets near the other side of the bed. - Because of the lack of outlets in the place, I literally had to move the coffeemaker and its contents to the other side of the room on the already crowded nightstand to make my coffee in the morning. Again, there were no other outlets in the place by a surface. SMDH There it is in a nutshell folks. I couldn't believe when I found this place that it was as reasonable as it was (still not cheap but less expensive than most places in downtown Seattle), and I definitely know the reason why now. I'm sure that there are worse places to stay at in downtown Seattle than this, but this one could have been better, especially for a Sheraton Four Points brand hotel.

Housekeeping rules that are not maintained.

Beware of very poor management and housekeeping practices!!! First, the location is approximately 15 minutes walking distance to most Google and Amazon offices, and surrounding sights/attraction. Having said that, the unacceptable: 1) TERRIBLE CHECKIN - I was there just before 3pm and had waited over 3 hours to have a room ready. The reason was housekeeping had not finished cleaning the room... at 6PM?! Who knows whether the source of the issue is mismanagement of late checkouts or incapable housekeeping. The latter most likely as my second issue surfaced. 2) NO HOUSEKEEPING - on the 3rd day and 7th day of any stay, housekeeping is supposed to service the rooms. They did not! Ironically, as I was waiting over 3 hours, I overheard the managers repeatedly Comping Pts to patrons that had their rooms skipped by the housekeeping staff. When I went to the front desk, the Night Auditor could only tell me Sorry and here's some sheets and towels for you to clean up yourself. Wow. 3) WEED AROMA INSIDE - management onsite has no security or willingness to tell patrons not to smoke inside the public areas or elevators. While the renovation job looks great, the management team and staff haven't done the property justice. Executive management needs to step in and make huge personnel changes to make patrons feel like the chain has some cleanliness standards. The discounted price at this site is for you to be the housekeeping staff during the stay.

This place was adequate. Nothing special but it was clean, the breakfast was reasonable and we liked how we were treated by the staff. The location also wasn't terrible. It was about a mile from town but we enjoyed the walk and found it to be quite "walkable". The building next door is vacant and condemned which is a bit odd... doesn't give the warm and fuzzy at the hotel. That being said, the hotel had scaffolding in sections so they're clearly trying to upgrade the exterior. I learned while there it used to be a comfort inn and it shows. The carpet? guys, really, that carpet's got to go. Not attractive. Also the corridors just feel so long and drab. Brighten it up with some lighter paint. Although I didn't eat at the breakfast, I did review the menu and it was extremely reasonable. I was very impressed with the pricing. I also spoke with a guest in the elevator who confirmed it was a good value for the price. That being said, if you want something more "authentic" to the hipster Seattle experience, Citizen is maybe 2 blocks which is not only convenient but good. Think crepes, great coffee & some egg dishes. Open all day. We were upgraded upon arrival. Our biggest issues was the weird lighting in the room. We had a room that had a living room and a bedroom but only 1 light turned on with any of the switches. It was inadequate for the space. Additionally the outlets were really problematic. Some wouldn't charge our phones or did so painfully slow. We tested a bunch of different outlets to see which had the most power. It was pretty bizarre but something to be mindful of. I opted for a bathroom outlet while my husband found a wall outlet that worked. The outlets on the desktop and tabletops didn't work well- there was an extreme delay in charging. Overall we'd stay here again if it was a good value. IF. The price would need to be right or the points would need to be appropriately deemed. The housekeeping did a good job, the upgrade was nice but the increasingly screeching elevator was disconcerting to say the least. I will say though my husband ordered the chocolate ganache lava cake from room service and he loved it. It's a very average hotel but doesn't exactly meet the expectations of a Four Points by Sheraton.... yet

This is our "Go-to" Downtown Seattle hotel. Located across Mercer from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and only a couple of blocks from Seattle Center, the hotel is easy to reach off Aurora (U.S. 99) or Mercer and offers easy access to South Lake Union's tech community, the Opera, Seattle Rep, Pacific Science Center and, of course, the Space Needle. Seattle's shopping mecca (Nordstrom's main store, The Bon (now Macy's), Westlake Center, Convention Center and downtown specialty shops, as well as, Pike Place Market and the waterfront are only a short taxi, Uber, Lyft or (my preference) Monorail ride away. Parking here is typically $20/night for guests and while it's not the Olympic, Westin, Sheraton, Hilton or Washington Athletic Club, the people are nice and the rooms are comfortable and far more reasonable priced.

4 stars because housekeeping is loud and rude. Otherwise it would be a solid 5! We checked in at 230 on the 4th of July. The guy at the front desk was super friendly and accommodating. When we got to the 3rd floor, housekeeping was cleaning rooms. Checkout is at noon, so understandable. Fast forward to 9am on the 5th of July. Housekeeping is knocking on our door! We say come back later and they go away. At least away from our door. They're making all kinds of racket down the hall! We leave 3 hours later and they're STILL in our hall! One lady glared as I walked by, smiled and said good morning. Ok or not! Thankfully front desk staff makeup for their lousy cleanup crew. Other than that, our room was beautiful and the hotel wasn't too far that we couldn't get around on foot or via cheap uber.

This hotel looks questionable from the outside -- so much so that you fear what the inside (and the rooms) look like. Once you get inside, it's decently nice, but very dimly lit. The kitchen/dining area looks dark and dead, and it's not very welcoming. We were told we had the biggest room -- two queens and a sofa bed. We get to the room, and we actually have a pretty small room with two double beds and a sofa bed (we were told afterwards that they don't have queen beds...). The room was FREEZING and very dark when we walked in. We tried to turn on the lights and open our window and we ended up with very dim lighting, and a not-so-great view. The heat goes from 0 to 100 -- it's either freezing cold air or scorching heat. The walls are kind of dinged, there are some cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and it just doesn't feel homey at all. I felt like I was going to catch a cold from staying in that room.. I will give it one thing: the bathroom is very nice. I usually judge the cleanliness of the place based on how the bathroom looks, and it was a very nice looking one. If you're as critical as me when it comes to where you stay -- regardless of how long -- you'll hopefully appreciate my review.

Four Points Sheraton is a product everyone who travels for work knows well-- it's a bare bones product, simple, a nice bed, a shower. It's probably one of the cheaper hotel products anywhere. A Gold or Platinum SPG/Marriott status gives one an upgrade with views of the Space Needle and much larger rooms. It is not a posh or high end business hotel in that you get what you pay for. Check out the photos. I stayed here to checkout the property and I have to report that it's completely fine, in a safe neighborhood, a BBQ joint across the street, as grocery at the next corner and coffee. Parking is $15, unheard of in Seattle, usually it's over $30 per diem. My free upgrade was totally fine and I wouldn't mind staying here again, it's close for client meetings and the staff is perfectly helpful and smiles all the way around. Verdict: Loved it for the price and accomodations were fine. Coming back. Visits: 1 . Tip: They give you a free cocktail or 500 SPG points if you don't want a cocktail. It's legal in Seattle......there were guests on my floor who were uhmmm, toking a J. Next morning a card was slipped under my door mentioning a $200 charge if smoke was detected in my room. Not mine dude LOL.

I tried to explain that people were right behind us and it wasn't safe to block egress but the people at the front desk said that it wasn't a problem. My husband just needed to block traffic and unload our things then wait for a valet driver to appear. I asked if we could upgrade our room to a club level but was informed that they have no ability to do so at the front desk and haven't for some time. I was very disappointed at this. It would have been one thing if they were booked but just flat out denial just because felt somehow personal (even if it wasn't actually). I went back out to the entrance to see if I could spot my husband and made him stop. Soon after a valet arrived and said he should park the car perpendicular to the other cars so he would have somewhere to park. This would have effectively blocked both the valet cars and the through traffic lanes. He then asked if we were going to do valet parking. I told him "not any more!" This hotel charges $69 a night for valet and the self parking isn't worlds cheaper but it definitely felt worth it to have our car placed carefully by us and not left in the care of the person who felt perpendicular/blocking through traffic was a good idea. Meanwhile I found our room that has a persistent sound of whistling when the heating is on and I found that the bathroom, while beautiful had a rather unappealing quality. When you use the toilet you are looking directly into a rather large mirror. When taken all together it makes for a rather disappointing experience. I don't think I will stay at any Hyatt again. There are other options that are pleasant and clean and well thought out nearby.

I booked it partly because it's part of Hilton's Tapestry Collection, so I could earn and redeem Hilton Honors points. That was a huge plus since I was visiting during the World Cup and hotel prices were absolutely wild: close to $800 a night if I had paid out of pocket! The service was excellent from the moment we arrived. There was a bellman opening the door, everyone we interacted with was friendly and accommodating, and it was always easy to grab an Uber right outside the hotel. One feature I really liked was the little pantry in the lobby. It's basically a self-service convenience store stocked with local candy, snacks, wine, beer, and other treats. You scan everything yourself and can charge it directly to your room, which was super convenient. We used our HHonors stay credit to buy a small bottle of Washington State wine and some local chocolates. The hotel has a really fun music theme throughout, and the design is modern with a Scandinavian-inspired feel. As a Gen Xer, I thought the vibe was just plain cool without trying too hard. Our standard King room had huge windows, a spacious sitting area, and clean, minimalist European-style décor that felt fresh and comfortable. The hotel itself was also surprisingly quiet despite being located in an urban area, so we slept really well. The only disappointment was our view. It wasn't much to look at. I was secretly hoping for an upgrade, but no luck. Not a deal breaker, just a minor letdown considering one side of the hotel affords perfect views of the Space Needle. The location is excellent for sightseeing on foot. We walked to Pike Place Market in about 10 minutes, and the Space Needle was also around a 10 minute walk in the opposite direction. Just be prepared for Seattle's hills! They're no joke, and you'll be going up and down some very, very steep streets to get to the waterfront. There are also plenty of great restaurants, bars, shops, and coffee shops within easy walking distance. One thing I'd mention is that while we felt comfortable during the day, after dinner around 10:45 p.m. we decided to take an Uber back from the Pike Place Market area instead of walking back to the hotel because parts of the area felt a little sketchy at night. Seattle has a very serious problem with drug users and unhoused folks, and they can get a little scary. I feel so badly for them, but I also felt a lot safer in an Uber than trying to walk back in the downtown area that late at night. The Sound is a stylish, comfortable hotel with excellent service, a great location, and a fun personality. If you're a Hilton Honors member, it's an especially solid choice when Seattle hotel prices are high.

The window area settee was the perfect place for a snack and using my laptop to prepare for the next day. The closet has more than just two hangers, which I appreciated being able to hang the clothes that needed to be hung and steamed later. The bed was soft, but not overly so and the charging options on the nightstand helped me keep some of my electronics packed and neat. Being in Downtown Seattle, I really didn't feel like I needed a car. The Sound is situated in a great place to just walk where I needed to go. Less than five minutes away from Westlake where I could catch either the monorail or Link, was very convenient for me. The greeters always opened the door for me, the check-in desk staff were courteous and always had a smile, and the checkout process was also quick and ended with an invitation to return to the property the next time I'm in Seattle. As soon as I stepped out of my Uber upon initial arrival, a staff member walked up to open my door and asked if I needed help with my bags. My room was comfortable in every aspect. The temperature controls worked great, the bed was very comfortable and had an adequate number of pillows, the bathroom was well-appointed, and everything was very clean. The bath towels were large, soft, and plush. The frosted door to the water closet was a nice touch for the sake of privacy if you were sharing the space with someone. The shower was not huge but it was more than adequately spacious for me. There were 2 robes hung in the bathroom (though I didn't use them). The small table and chairs near the window were convenient and comfortable to work from. The view from my room was very nice, especially during clear days when you can see the water and the mountains in the distance. The room was always well maintained after the typical morning cleaning as well as during turn down service. I appreciated the staff placing slippers by the bed and how they always nicely arranged my toiletries in the bathroom, replaced used towels with fresh ones, and even placed things on the table in the bedroom (like my charger, earbud case, eyeglass case, and so on) neatly for when I returned. The bar area at the back of the restaurant was a nice little area and had a table large enough for our group of around 8-10 to comfortably sit at while enjoying a nightcap. My breakfast the day I checked out was also high quality and my server Nathan was pleasant, timely, and honest about prep time of some items I wanted to order but was constricted due to a time crunch. In general, every staff member I encountered was pleasant, eager to help, and always smiled and made eye contact when speaking with me. All in all, I had a wonderful experience and have no complaints. This property is one of the top 2-3 Four Seasons hotels I have stayed at over the past several years. I would wholeheartedly stay here again!
