My wife and I like going to breweries and as part of our Dodgers weekend to Milwaukee I surprised my wife and booked a few nights at the Brewhouse Inn. I'm not posting pictures because everyone else has given you all you needed shots of the hotel. The staff has been great. The room, very nice. Here's the warning, if you have a car, don't park on the street unless you go on line and get the overnight pass. The parking police here are sneaky and as soon as that meter runs out they're there. Talk to the valet, he can give you the best options for parking. I'm paying more in parking tickets than what I paid for the car. Even with that, this place is worth stopping in and having a PBR. read more

**1 STAR -- BED BUGS, NO ACCOUNTABILITY, AND ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE** **DO NOT STAY HERE!** I have stayed in plenty of hotels over the years, and this was easily one of the worst experiences I have ever had. Not because of a bad breakfast, an uncomfortable pillow, or a rude front-desk employee **I GOT BED BUGS.** During my stay in August, I discovered my room was infested with bed bugs. I had to deal with the disgusting reality of potentially bringing bed bugs home, deal with the enormous inconvenience and expense of cleaning and replacing personal belongings, and ultimately **pay for another hotel because I could no longer stay here.** You would think that reporting something this serious would result in an immediate response from hotel management. You'd be wrong. I have contacted this hotel **every single day for nearly a month.** I have left messages. I have spoken with employees. I have explained the situation repeatedly. I have asked to speak with someone who could actually resolve the issue. **NOT ONE PERSON FROM MANAGEMENT HAS BOTHERED TO CONTACT ME.** Think about that for a minute. A paying guest reports BED BUGS, incurs significant additional expenses, repeatedly calls the hotel for nearly a month, and the hotel's response is essentially **crickets.** I expected the hotel to do the bare minimum: refund my stay and reimburse me for the additional hotel expense and reasonable costs associated with dealing with the infestation, including cleaning and replacing clothing, luggage, and other belongings that were exposed. Instead, I've been completely **IGNORED.** The bed bugs were disgusting, but honestly, **the hotel's response, or complete lack of one, is what makes this experience truly outrageous.** Mistakes happen. Problems happen. Even serious problems happen. What separates a reputable hotel from a terrible one is how they handle those problems. This hotel chose to handle mine by **IGNORING ME.** Nearly a month of phone calls and messages without a single meaningful attempt by management to contact me or resolve the situation is beyond poor customer service. It demonstrates an astonishing lack of concern for guests and an equally astonishing lack of accountability. I paid this hotel to provide me with a clean and safe room. Instead, I got bed bugs, additional expenses, a massive headache, and absolutely no support afterward. **I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone--not even someone I don't like.** If you decide to stay here, I would suggest checking the mattress, box spring, bed frame, furniture, and every other possible hiding spot for bed bugs before unpacking your luggage. As for me, **this hotel has permanently lost my business.** **BED BUGS + NEARLY A MONTH OF BEING IGNORED = ONE STAR.** And frankly, **one star feels generous.** read more

You'll be hard-pressed to find better customer service than I experienced here. The staff here clearly takes pride in their friendly hospitality, and it's the kind of place I'd look forward to returning to. I stayed here for a work event, coincidentally hosted at this hotel, and the room was top tier. Having arrived late, I made my way into a gigantic room with two TVs and it's own kitchenette. Bed was really comfortable and room was great to get a little work done in as well. Had breakfast there the next day, then walked over to a nearby coffeeshop that was great to have around. The hotel is in a good location close to downtown, even though I didn't venture out on this particular trip. Watching the staff interact at the party, and with me as a customer was reaffirming across the board. They were friendly and helpful with everyone, and really had that energy of going above and beyond. All in all a great spot! read more

I once again, foolishly, gave this place the benefit of the doubt and waited an entire week for the phone call we were supposed to receive from the hotel's manager to discuss our extremely disappointing experience. No surprise to me, the call did not come, so here is the written review; When we arrived Sunday the 19th, it took the receptionist almost 30 minutes to get us our room. She could not find the room for the couple ahead of us in line. Eventually they stepped aside and allowed us to get our key. She had no idea what she was doing, told us she was new, and no one was around to help her. When we arrived at our room, although we booked a queen, it was a full sized bed. There was a dirty band-aid on the nightstand. Unfortunately since my husband and I were in the service industry for over a decade combined, we often give people the benefit of the doubt and ample opportunities to make things right. The TV was very small and only cable, which often cut to "no service" before reviving itself. The water pressure in the shower was abysmal. My husband bought the Brewhouse Gameday Package because it was our honeymoon. Again, the blonde girl at the front desk had no idea what was happening, no idea what the listing for the package was on the website, and no information. She directed us to the employees of On Tap, who stated "well this just looks like a screenshot from our website" ...which it was. We paid for the package, the receptionist knew nothing of it, and the staff at On Tap knew nothing about why the receptionist knew nothing. Over and over, excuses were made because "she's really new here". We were eventually given our 2 free drinks and our $40 comp for the restaurant, probably just because we wouldn't let it go. Come the end of the Brewers game, we wait where we were directed to. No shuttle comes. My husband calls the hotel, and they say they just made their last run and will not be coming back for us. Again, the brand new, know-nothing receptionist. We were specifically told by the shuttle driver that he would make runs for up to an hour after the game, or until everyone was collected. We took the shuttle there; he knew we were supposed to be on the one back to the hotel as well. Overall, it is pretty gross business to advertise so falsely and to do nothing to rectify unacceptable failures when your guests repeatedly come to you with needs. Had this been a $150 hotel, I wouldn't be writing this. I would chalk it up to "you get what you pay for" but to pay $1000 for 2 nights + the Gameday Package that let us down in almost every direction? I am honestly shocked. The morning of our check-out, we explained to a more veteraned pair of receptionists everything that had disappointed us and let us down during our stay. We were told the hotel manager was on a call; they took down my husband's name and phone number and said he would be called in a couple of days, and apologized. Finally, someone seemed to at least pretend to care. Anyway, to the hotel manager, Christopher - seriously? What could possibly be the excuse? Train your staff. At least a little. Is this just so commonplace at the Brewhouse Inn you just don't bother calling to make things right? Our friends and family will know each and every detail of our frustrating, lame stay at the Brewhouse Inn, I can tell you that much. I hope business for the rest of the season is what you deserve it to be. read more

This place is so awesome. Brewhouse Inn is the perfect place to stay in Milwaukee if you want the true brew city experience! The hotel was originally the Pabst brewery and still holds so much charm and history from that. The huge copper kettles are still a major focal point on the second floor landing and a great photo op. The rooms are really special! I love the variety. We saw suites that were two stories, some with a living room and multiple bedrooms, and many with full kitchens! All were unique, but held the charm that we saw in the rest of the hotel throughout the space. The entire staff I interacted with was phenomenal and seemed genuinely happy to be there, but I have to give a shout out to the Front Desk manager Jason. What an awesome and hospitable guy -- Brewhouse is lucky to have him! Can't recommend Brewhouse Inn enough. If you've got a trip to Milwaukee planned, this is the place to stay. read more

Very cool place to stay in Milwaukee - especially if you're a beer nerd - even if you don't drink PBR on the regular. The historic building is beautiful, the old brew kettles are a fun touch, the decor is minimalist but upscale, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The immediate area around the hotel has a few things to walk to (including a great craft brewery). I wouldn't necessarily call it "easily" walkable to the main downtown area, but it's a short trip by car or bike. The service at the front desk was very friendly. We would stay here again. read more

While I have not had a stay in the hotel, I got to do an in-depth tour and see inside this beautiful hotel. I seriously had no idea we had such a hidden gem in Milwaukee. Each room is distinct, and many of the rooms I saw had beautiful views of Milwaukee. It's a gorgeous blend of new and old, rustic and comfortable. I'm kinda sad that I live less than 20 minutes from here, so don't really need to stay here lol. I really don't have much more to say, since I only toured and didn't actually stay here. Beautiful, historic hotel. Came here for a one night stay for the Brewers game. The hotel has a lot of charm as a converted brewery. Our room was incredibly spacious with tall ceilings, a large living room space with kitchenette with full sized fridge, and separate bedroom. Rodney at the front desk was very helpful while checking in. Daniel with valet provided speedy and great service. On Tap restaurant attached had a nice lunch- the French fries were so good and had a cute outdoor patio. Coffee and pastries in the morning was a nice touch. The Pabst Best Place Brewery was right around the corner for a fun tour. Docking off a star for housekeeping- the room was out of shower gel, a bottle of VO5 shampoo was left on the counter, and a pint of mostly eaten ice cream in the fridge. Would stay again! read more

They worked out to remodel and and build out a full hotel inside, they even kept some of the old fermentation tanks as part of the decor! Well done1 PROS -HUGE GIGANTIC ROOMS! It's an entire separate bedroom, kitchenette, and living room. Clean, modern, chic. -Premises were also clean and chic. -Kitchenette clean and well stocked. -Friendly service all around. Staff happily updated our reservation from 1 bed 1 fold out sofa bed room to a 2 queen beds room, which ended being $50 cheaper a night(it was my and a guy friend, not my wife!). Price went from $480 for nights to $388 for nights, thank you!!! -On Tap attached restaurant/bar is pretty good if you're feeling lazy. -Walking distance Clear Waters Brewing, Best Place Pabst Brewery Tour and Bar, Pilot Project Brewing...all great spots CONS -Not located closer to the downtown area, but a $8-12 Uber/Lyft ride. read more

One of the prettiest hotels in the Milwaukee area. We really enjoyed the location. Close to the Pabst tour, Fiserv, and restaurants/bars. We enjoyed exploring the hotel while we sipped our complimentary "welcome beers." Valet is fairly steep ($40) and so was the room ($260) but we were splurging for my bday weekend. It's also nice to be able to grab a drink and app while you watch the game at the attached restaurant - On Tap. Removing a star because a few items in our room were broken and I thought the lighting in our room was way too dark, but we still enjoyed ourselves and I would recommend to others! read more

The Brewhouse and Beer hunt event was such a great night out. We walked down 10th Street & we were greeted by the Weiner Mobile parked out front. Walking into the historic old Pabst brewery was magical from the copper ceilings, grand lobby, chandelier, and welcoming staff. The ambiance is truly Milwaukee and beautiful. During the scavenger hunt, we got to explore many hotel rooms/options and the mezzanine. My favorite two rooms were the Loft and the two bedroom, two bathroom suite with a game table and bar. All the local beers were fun to taste and try a sample of each and talk to local representatives. Our fav beers were the 1840 fest and pb/jelly, very unique. We saved the nostalgic PBR for last, the classic. Dinner was at the pub next door, and I can't say enough about the PBR breaded cheese curds. The restaurant couldn't keep up with the demand. The sliders were delish, too, and had many toppings to choose from. I would love a stay-cation at the hotel in one of the beautiful rooms and would recommend both spots to locals & tourists. This hotel is serviceable and that's about it. We stayed in room 322 and the front desk forgot to tell us that we could not access the room by an elevator. We had to get to the second floor, take a flight of metal stairs (with our luggage) to the side of the building. We had to figure this out on are own and it took a bit of scrambling. Front desk also immediately denied our request for a one hour late check out (from 11am to 12pm) on Monday, unconvincingly telling us that they had a large group coming in...on a Monday night...in Milwaukee. Ok, sure. The charm and history of the building does not make up for the lack of comfortable accommodations and care for the guest experience. Bed not comfortable, headboard was wood planks on the wall, and the bathroom was way too large and empty feeling. We came in Sunday 3/09 and they forgot to change the clocks to an hour ahead due to the time change the night before. read more

Did a tour of the hotel--including several rooms. First, it was gorgeous. The refresh they did was such a quality job. They highlighted the history, while ensuring it has modern conveniences and a high clean feel. The rooms are amazing. Each has high quality appliances and a great kitchen space and bathrooms. The furniture and other furnishings are also giving the whole space an elegant feel. The best part, however, is how the room is retrofitted. Each is unique and has some quirky charm. That awesome feature is, actually, the only real downside. Some rooms are better than others. I'm not suggesting there are "bad" rooms. Rather, it could be quite easy to get buyer's remorse. You get a nice two-bedroom and the notice when you're onsite that for the same price you could have gotten some whose decorations or layout suits your fancy more. First World Problem, to be sure, but it means it's worth calling the desk and chatting with someone onsite who knows the space when you make your reservation. Tell them your preference and see if they can find a perfect match. Regardless of your room, the general space is incredible. I went with people who aren't history buffs--and even they got drawn into the historic nature of the space. read more

We stayed at the Brewhouse Inn & Suites over our wedding weekend, and hosted our rehearsal dinner in their event space. The hotel was beautiful, really nice rooms and it all made for great pictures. However, the management left a lot to be desired. It seems there has been a lot of employee turnover so room reservations were lost or forgotten, and attention to detail on behalf of the staff was lacking due to other hiccups. We had a scheduled food/room service drop off that was over 1.5 hours late on the day of our wedding, making an already hectic day more stressful. If looking for a pretty hotel in Milwaukee, this may be a good option for you. We trusted this group to help make our wedding day special and were ultimately let down. read more

This hotel, in the original Pabst Blue Ribbon brewery, is wonderful. From the "upscale industrial" design that incorporates reclaimed factory features, to the friendly desk staff and valet, to the well-appointed rooms, this was a 5 star stay. It's located in the historical brewery district, which is in walking distance of the Deer District if you are a Bucks fan, and is a quick Uber to American Family Field if you are a Brewers fan! The only downside? We visited on a Monday so the adjoining restaurant was closed, and very few other choices in the neighborhood were open. Perhaps plan your trip for the weekend if sightseeing and dining is a desire. Our room did have a kitchenette with a full sized refrigerator, and they have a snack shop as well as continental breakfast. read more

We shared a large suite with friends for a wedding that we were attending. It is cheaper to split a room with friends rather than have a room to yourself, so this was the best option for us. The room that was up in the lofted area was great, but ran very hot which made us keep the A/C at 60. My husband and I planned a weekend trip to Milwaukee. We were on the search for hotels and found the Brewhouse Inn. After making our reservation, we counted the days to our trip and made the 1.5 hour drive to pay a visit to our neighboring state up north. As you approach the intersections of W. Juneau and N 10th, you pull up to a charming hotel with cobblestone driveways. I appreciate how the hotel repurposed the old Pabst brewery and kept a few of the furnishings to remind guests of what this place once was. We got the Studio Queen Suite which includes free wifi and breakfast. We also sprung a little extra for valet ($30) because it's convenient. You could opt to self-park at the nearby parking garage but it's a bit of a walk from the parking structure to the hotel. Another perk with using hotel valet is that you get unlimited in and out privileges'. Breakfast wasn't much to rave about. Their breakfast is pretty simple and consists of fruit, bagels, cereal, milk, coffee and hard boiled eggs. The eggs unfortunately were not fresh and were prepackaged. They were edible but over boiled. Our Queen Suite is the smallest of all room classes but for us it was perfect. At a little over 300 sq ft. it may appear smallish but the high loft ceilings made it feel spacious. Our room was relatively quiet during our stay. We had a decent sized bathroom complete with a soothing Kohler rain shower head. Our stay checked off all the amenities we need. It was also nice to discover we had a fridge. The fridge is on the small but it's definitely not a mini fridge. We did takeout most of the time and as we accumulated takeout boxes, cheese and sausage souvenirs we appreciated the extra refrigerator space. There was an ample amount of garbage cans too. Our total bill for the night, including valet, was around $220. Since these suites were built extended stay I was really hoping they would have dishwashing soap, spoons and hand towels in their kitchenette. With these items lacking, I had to improvise. Also, there is only one ice machine we knew of in the hotel. Usually you'll have an ice machine on every floor. There's a small gift shop, bar and a small office space at ground level near the lobby. They even have a neat conference room on the second floor which faces the brewery kettles if you need it for business meetings. In and around there's a few places within walking distance like Bottle House 42 (restaurant and sports bar) and Best Place (Gift shop and Tavern). Staff is friendly and although check-in is normally 4pm, I called a few days ahead and asked to see if we could have an earlier check-in. I was told to call the morning of and they were able to accommodate our request. Overall, a solid and pleasant stay. read more

Rooms are ok and history of this hotel is amazing! Unfortunately the amenities are lackluster. We did enjoy having a full kitchenette. Pillows and bed weren't very comfy. There's no dresser or closet to put clothes. Wait I take that back there is a small dresser that can hang 1-2 coats. That is it. I was in town for business and had several outfits I wanted to be able to unpack and hang nicely. Nowhere to do that. And the continental breakfast is a joke-they should just call it coffee because that's all there is, unless you count a pitiful selection of mini pastries. Bite size. No juice. No toast. No cereal. Not even tea. I've had better at 2 star chains. For the price it's not worth the stay here once you have gotten to enjoy the cool history. read more

I absolutely adored the weekend that we spent here! From walking into the place, it's just such a cool building. The desk folks were super helpful, and we got to our room pretty quickly. The room we got was absolutely massive. It had a full kitchen, a separate sitting room, and then the bedroom that looked towards the city. I loved all the open spacing and tall ceilings and fixtures, and I especially liked the French doors that looked like beer glasses. On one of the lower floors, you can see the old brewing equipment and stained glass, and it's so pretty. I also really appreciated that there's a little store in the lobby that has snacks and food, things you might have forgotten to pack (deodorant, etc), and themed gifts. It was very appreciated when we got back late after our concert to just grab drinks and snacks from here. We noticed they didn't have pain killers, so we asked if they had any to buy and they very kindly just gave us a packet. Their kindness was very sweet! It's very close to an adorable coffee shop in one of the old pabst buildings with a few bars nearby too. It's within walking distance to the Bucks stadium as well as places like Mader's. I loved my time here, and I really hope I get the chance to go back. read more

Alright how did I not know this awesome Inn was here? I suppose I don't stay in hotels in my own city that often but this is a heck of a spot. I finally had a chance to stay for my friends wedding, in which she had the bridesmaids get ready/stay here. It's tucked up in The Brewery District, housed in the original Pabst brewery, which in itself just sounds cool. Upon entering, you get an immediate feel of vintage charm. Cream city brick makes up most of the brewhouse walls, and you'll find so many reclaimed uses of old factory features. The two-bedroom suite we were in had very high ceilings and large windows, exposed beams, and those classic brick walls. It was stylishly decorated and equipped with full kitchen facilities (minus an oven). I also thought highly of the hallways and common areas - all very clean and offering a nice atmosphere. The floor we were on overlooked the massive, copper brew tanks; no longer in service of course but such a cool added/restored part of the brewhouse. I can't speak much to the amenities since we didn't get to use them during our short visit, but sounds like they have plenty. Plus, this hotel is walkable to so much of downtown including the Fiserv Forum/Deer District, Water Street, Wisconsin Center, and more. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to travelers coming to visit our great city. read more

It's hard to say where to begin this review. I will start by saying that I absolutely LOVED Milwaukee! I would move here in a heart beat if the winters weren't so dang cold. The people were amazing and there were so many breweries and beer themed everything! I really felt like these were "my people"... We decided to stay in this hotel because well... It's awesome! The entire area and our hotel were all part of the Pabst brewing company. This hotel was a repurposed part of the brewery. There was a ton to see and I wish we were able to stay longer. The hotel staff was pretty friendly. As you can see from the pics there was a lot of really fabulous photo opportunities. The room:. Ok. It was small. The bed was small. It had a full sized kitchen which was a bit confusing. They chose a kitchen over a closet... The bathroom was huge but a lot of wasted space. There was a free ... It wasn't a continental breakfast but premade pre packed food was offered for breakfast along with coffee. I'm sure this was a covid decision. There was an attached restaurant but it was not open when we were there. Overall we had a very nice stay. But was it worth the price... I would say to stay there for my first ever to Milwaukee, most definitely. I was immersed in the culture and think this was an important stay. Would I pay that much a second time? No. I would stay somewhere more reasonably priced. Do I recommend it? Hell yes. What a great location! Walking distance to local breweries. Rich history... Etc. So if you don't valet your vehicle it will get robbed. Staff was essentially clueless. Valet on the evening shift smelled like alcohol. Morning staff was great. Bed & pillows sucked. We were on the third floor, woke up to blaring music from the tv outside our door at 4am on the second floor area. Probably wouldn't stay again. read more

The Hotel is beautiful and full of history. Upon arrival you are offered a beer (or soda) which was nice. The valet was a little pricey at $40.00 as well as was the room. The staff super friendly. That being said, We got to our room, very nice. However one of the glasses in the cabinet was chipped and cracked, I am glad I noticed it before drinking. The refrigerator was not cold at all and the freezer was not working (our candy bar actually melted) The shower gel empty, conditioner almost empty. The hot water in the shower was not very hot. The bed not the most comfortable (but I guess that is per each persons preference) We went down to the restaurant to eat and the service was less than desirable. We had to wait for drinks and order for awhile, she did not check back so we sat without drinks. We are Pabst collectors so it was a nice experience but probably not go back again. read more
