We have been looking for a reliable local nail place for quite some time. We were very happy to finally find somewhere good. I called ahead of time to schedule and asked for my mother and I to be seen at the same time. For whatever reason, we weren't able to get other places to see us simultaneously, even when they told us we would. This place was very efficient, saw us at the same time (at the scheduled time), and I very much enjoyed myself. Worst nail experience ever! I decided to give them another try after previous poor experiences. Big mistake. Didn't listen to what I wanted. Quick and abrupt. Asked her to even them out and she filed them even shorter and still uneven and a completely different shape. The guy doing the pedicure scrubbed the side of my feet without any calluses and it felt like he was taking skin off. They seemed distracted the whole time only talking to each other in their own language. Didn't even tell me when they were done and just walked off. I could go on... $73 for what? Never going back. Scheduled an appointment the day before, they were able to get me in. I came in the next morning, then had me wash my hands and pick my colors. It wasn't crowded and very quiet and peaceful (just what I needed). I got the spa pedicure and a shellac manicure. The water for my pedicure was on the cold side, when I told the woman, she tried to adjust but adding more water but added more cold water... oh well. It took about an hour. I loved the hot stones for my pedicure! Pricing is fair- $28 for spa pedicure and $30 for shellac manicure. They also have other options in the "menu". I am from out of state and went in with my sister for a pedicure. I was not happy with my technician at all. First she got very annoyed because we couldnt make out what she was saying. She was yelling about something and pointing to my feet, I dont know if she was asking or telling me something. I can see why that would be frustrating but we were trying our best to understand her and her raising her voice didnt help. I dont know why she didnt just have one of the other technicians translate. I think that pissed her off, but I was honestly trying to best to understand her. I kept apologizing, but she was just really angry, and I think she took it out on me with her service. She pointed again at my toes and asked a question and I heard color, she was asking if I wanted the same color so she could just paint over what I had. It had been a long time since I painted my toes and the color was more than half way grown out. I told her I wanted the new color I had handed her. She sighed in annoyance and was aggressively gathering her things and forcefully putting them down. I asked her to trim my nail which she did very sloppily. She missed the corner or my pinky toe and left a weird spike on the end. I asked her to fix it and she rolled her eyes and cut it shorter but left the weird spike. I had to bend down and point to it because she wasnt getting it. She was like "oh" and fixed it. She got out a drill to sand off the out polish. But first she used cuticle cutters to lift the edge of the polish on all my nails and rip off the polish. She tried to do that with my big toe but it wasnt working and thank goodness cause i was horrified. Then she turned on the file drill and pushed it onto my big toe. I have had hundreds of pedicures and I have never experienced pain like that! I flinched back and look and shes using a very deeply studded drill bit! I was shocked! I have never seen anyone use that on nails!!! I started panicking but stayed quiet but my heart was beating hard. At first she was barely touching the surface and it was ok. But i was so scared and I could feel her going too hard and it started hurting and i pulled away and told her it hurt. She got mad and grabbed my toe and started sanding very aggressively. It hurt and I could see the dips in my toe nail where she pressed too hard. She didnt even trim the sides of my nails and barely touched the cuticles. She kept pushing in my cuticles under the sides instead of trimming them. I just wanted to run out of there screaming. It was awful. Later when I got home after about an hour my toe really started hurting. I had some errands to run and by the time I got back my toe had a heart beat and was very painful. I couldnt stand to touch it. She had damaged my nail beds to the point where they were extremely sore and painful and since she didnt cut the sides and used her nails to push my cuticle under instead of trimming, she had my slightly ingrown toe nail much worse and painful. I had to use a home kit to trim the side and get the ingrown out. And by them it was starting to get infected already and oozing. I poured alcohol all over it and iced it and took some motrin. By morning it was much better, although my nail beds were still sore. Even if I lived here I would not go here again or recommend it to anyone. My sister wasnt happy with how her technician rubbed a glob of lotion into her wedding ring without warning or pause. My sister flinched back and sighed is disappointment and the technician acted clueless and didnt see the problem or didnt care. She has to go get her ring cleaned now, which could have been avoided if the tech just asked her to remove it or worked around it. read more

During my manicure, the manicurist cut one of my cuticles so deeply, I didn't stop bleeding, I kid you not, for 2 days. She did not apologize, and she blamed it on my BLOOD for being too thin. Will not be recommending anyone go here. I understand if she made a mistake, but for her not to apologize and for her to blame it on my (blood!) is inexcusable. I called at the end of the day on Friday at around 7 p.m. I spoke with Steven inquiring as to the first available appointment for a fill. To my surprise, I believe? he said he had 730 available! I truly thought I had heard him incorrectly. After verifying the time was for that same evening, I immediately said yes!!! Of course, Steven did an amazing job, as he always does. What stood out for me was the professionalism of the Entire staff at 7:30 on a Friday evening, even though it was 92° outside at that moment and I am quite sure that they all had families waiting for them at home, waiting to eat dinner, waiting to have a barbecue, waiting to maybe go out with friends and /or family for a nice, warm Friday evening in July. The entire staff at Four Seasons Nails treated me that Friday evening as if I was the only person they were concerned about, they were there just to take care of my needs and to treat me to a very pleasant spa experience. They asked me if I would like a pedicure, polish change for my toes, or eyebrow wax. (Services I usually request as well). During the fill, Steven also replaced several of my artificial nail tips, general maintenance which he could have postponed until my next appointment and it would never have been noticed. This should again remind us that some people and some businesses are truly special for all the little things that they don't have to do, but CHOOSE to do. They are in a class that 95% of the people out in the workforce only wish they were in, however, are too lazy to put forth the effort. I am so disappointed about my service. My regular place was busy so I tried out this salon. I got a pedicure and a manicure. They did my pedicure and was left with leftover mask on the backs of my legs, they were dry because they wipe off all the lotion with a steaming hot towel and did a hot stone massage over sugar scrub. It was so painful! I have very short fingernails. I wanted them to clean up my cuticles. I could have done a better job myself. The gal did basically nothing to my nails. She literally dipped them in water and that was it. No cutical remover, didn't take any time at all. They look awful. I asked for clear polish and got a matte clear painted over lotion so I have white dots on almost all my nails. I will not be back! read more

Gosh, this was a hard review for me. Being a licensed Cosmetologist, my safety and sanitation expectations are set high. I had to follow strict rules and regulations when in school, was tested on them at state level and am required to follow these laws as a licensed individual. I wish EVERYONE had the same standards and that shops had to up their cleanliness to stay within regulation, it would make things better for everyone. The good: The pedicure itself was great, no complaints! The staff was friendly. The location was convenient. My toes look good, they take debit/credit, the price was right, I didn't walk away with a fungus, the chairs were comfy, etc. The bad: My toes were worked on by THREE different technicians. This part didn't actually bother me as I was chatting away with my friend and didn't really care who was taking care of me. What bothered me is how the staff rotated between clients without washing their hands as they moved around. The paraffin dip... what a delightful treat as part of the spa pedicure... until I saw that they kept leaving the lid of the dip on the floor. Sanitizing the foot spas. Wow. After I walked away from my foot spa, they literally sprayed something in the bowl and wiped it down and filled it back up for the next person. It is a known fact that bacteria lives within the pipes and tubing of the jets and it is incredibly important to run the sanitizer through the system before refilling for the next person. General cleanliness - it just wasn't there. The place needed a good scrub. Why did I give them 3 stars? Well.............. it's really hard to find a good place to get a pedicure anymore. Time and time again I either have a technician using a razor on the bottom of my foot (illegal by the way) or the technician is unlicensed or the shop is dirty, etc. I feel that this place fell right in the middle for me. I've been seeing Lisa and her sister Kim at this salon for almost four years. Every once in a blue moon I wind up going somewhere else for one stupid reason or other, and every single time I regret it. Lisa is a whiz with Acrylic and Gel nails of all types, and I'm always very happy with the time she takes, the quality of the work, the way they look when she's done, and the price is right. I also have Lisa wax my brows fairly regularly, and I've never had any unpleasant experiences. Kim is simply the best pedicurist I've ever seen. Not only do my feet look and feel great, but the leg and foot massage included with the spa pedi in the massage chair are just to die for. Don't go in a hurry for a mani-pedi, it usually takes about 90 mins - 2 hours for back to back (I have acrylic gel nails, so they can't be filled at the same time), but every minute is worth it. I'm a die-hard nail girl, and I'm very particular. I've had these on and off for over 15 years, and I've never been so consistently happy with anyone ever. read more

I don't recall the lady's name who helped me, but she was super nice and tried to not cause my face or eyebrows too much pain :) I'm uber-pale and although I did show some red botches afterwards, they quickly went away and my face didn't hurt or sting as much as other places have done, that's a plus. Eyebrows, chin, and upper lip waxed for $30 including tip. Overall the session was quick and not as painful as I anticipated, and I was very surprised & happy they were open on a Sunday!! read more

I've been going to Lisa for almost 2 years now! I love her! I've never been exclusive with a nail place or a nail technician until I found her. She is a perfectionist - and as a severe nail biter - I know I can go in there with heinous looking nubs, and come out with long, natural looking beauties!!! She is pretty fast, but not TOOOO fast to where your nails look like someone did them while driving on a cobblestone road. It is $25 for a full set - $30 for a full set of white tips... $17 for a fill. They have 4 spa pedicure stations, and the shop is clean and spacious. I got a shellac and she got the polish all over the edges of my fingers (which is a big no-no for shellac because it'll peel faster if it's hanging off the edge of your nail). My cuticles look awful & jagged. My husband and sister (both of whom don't ever notice things like my nails) commented on how bad they look. :( I would have said something, but they were closing when they finished my nails & I was in a rush.
