I used to come here all the time before I experienced a job layoff and 1 year of unemployment. I came in today after more than 6 months to fix a broken nail and a cuticle cleaning, which is listed on their website. The owner wouldn't allow the technician to do a cuticle cleaning and wanted to charge me $25 for a manicure. I said I didnt want nor can I afford a full manicure. I got the broken nail fixed and left without a cuticle cleaning. That was the poorest decision by a salon owner I've ever experienced. If you dont offer the service at all, take it off your website. What a horrible woman. I will never come to this salon ever again. What a terrible way to treat a customer. Shame on you! read more

Had a gel manicure. 4 days later my nails were breaking off and gel polish chipping terribly - should not happen with gel. The service was not good for the most part. Went in with a friend and paid for a Luxury pedicure. Was left with cold towels on my legs for 25 minutes so she could start working on 3 new people walking in with no appointments. The two women working there were working on pedicures in an assembly line. Except they forgot to come back and work on us. Took 2.5 hours for 2 of us to get a pedicure. It was ridiculous. Then to top it off none of them knew how to paint a flower on a toenail. The owner said oh wait about 20 minutes and I will do it. We waited another 25 minutes and when she got done it looked like a white blob. A 6 year old could paint a flower better than her. It looked terrible and embarrassing. Also with a Luxury pedicure you are supposed to get wax to get dry skin off your feet. She forgot to do that because they were working on so many people at once. I had to ask for it. She said oh sorry I forgot. I wouldn't waste your time or money here. They just try to squeeze in as many people as possible for the money. I can't be positive enough on my recent visit to here. I saw Hannah and as always, first class, A+ service. This is a new location for me (Hannah was at a different location prior to this one) and what stood out after the great service and care Hannah gave me was how comfortable the chairs are. The message from it was nice. Sometimes those kind of chairs get to be uncomfortable, not these. I didn't find myself fidgeting at all. I had a horrible experience three months ago. Went in for a Mother's Day manicure and the technician not only was unable to communicate with me but injured my cuticle twice. I'm still dealing with paronchitis of the nail and its just awful being unable to use my right thumb. The skin peeled leaving the thumb raw and so tender. Went to Stellar nails to have a full set of nails done. I let them know that I cannot have my fingers soaked in acetone and for the past nine years my nail person just takes off my old nails by lifting them off. Anybody who knows how to do Nails knows how to do this. I sat down and they cut all my fingernails off and then said that there's no way to do this without the acetone. That's insane. I've been to four places who have done this, so now they've cut all my nails off when I told them in advance, she just said oh I'm sorry you go somewhere else. This is ridiculous. super disappointing. I was here for almost two hours to get a regular pedicure and a dip manicure. first, they removed my previous (shellac) manicure with a dremel, no manual scraping at all, and Tammy definitely drilled too deep a few times, which should've been my first red flag. but I stuck with it and got the full manicure. in making my polish selection, I asked if I could get a design with dip and they said yes. I then proceeded to show pictures and was told, no, no, no. basically I could get a flower but nothing else. ok so... how about some glitter? ok yes. but only clear glitter, no colors, not even silver. so... I couldn't even really get what I wanted, AND it came out badly. in the end, my nails are super thick, the surface is uneven, the edges are crooked, my cuticles got nicked in several places (thanks, dremel!) and I have some of the polish stuck to the skin of my fingers. (I'd pick it off, but the polish is so thick that I can't... ). I made an appointment at another nail place to have this disaster removed and get them redone. I won't be returning. read more

Horrible! Horrible Service! The only way they are even getting one star is because Yelp forces reviewers to give at least one star! When they get irritated with you because you simple forgot the number of the shellac color you picked out during your 35 min wait when you were told that the wait would be 20 min and then you get your feet put in luke warm-cold water.... and are afraid to speak up just based on the way they refused to give us an idea of the Massage time frame per pedicure price differences ranging from a $28 "classic massage" to an $80 "Shellac Natural Cider Pedi"... (big difference there!). Finally we got an answer from the owner informed us 2-3 Min massage and we can buy more at $1 a min. When I couldn't remember the shellac number I wanted I had to ask for to look at The book again at least three times while She continued to suggest a color I didn't want. Then when I said "it's okay, I'll go get the book, "Trina" who was taking to all of her co-peers while trying to convince me of getting the wrong color applied Finally agreed to getting the other shellac color books for me to view.... she got up up, went over and brought all The books to me including the cats eye polish which you don't Normally get on your toes AND piled them all into my lap nearly up to my neck AND dumped the color book I had already viewed and DID NOT want on the top of the pile! I call that being rude (aka a smart *ss) and horrible customer service! After fink g the correct color she proceed push and shove your feet in and out of the water between pedi steps... My 2 friends and I made appointments for 3 full sets and 2 pedicures. We were there for 3.5 hours... unacceptable. We witnessed the staff accept walk in appointments and assist them before us. Keep in mind we're 19 and many of the customers were in their 40's or older. I felt that they catered to this older demographic because they are more likely to "tip more". At one point my friend was sitting in the chair waiting for an HOUR while 2 employees were giving a walk in patient a manicure and pedicure simultaneously. She hadn't even received a top coat on her toes and was given one in a chair at the manicure desk. Additionally, the prices on the website are outdated and they are not willing to fix them or create a new website. It states they offer a discount to first-time customers but this was not honored due to the fact that the website was outdated. Never going back!! We have gone to many nail salons and whole this might not have been the worst experience, it wasn't one of our better ones either. First, I had my reusable tumbler full of iced tea on the side table of the chair I was getting my pedicure at and the tech was trying to do something next to it and knocked it off the table, shattering a hole in it. It's replaceable, at double the cost I paid for it on Amazon now at $78. I let it go, it was an accident but one that shouldn't have happened. Next, whatever she was doing as she clipped my toenails was painful. I've never had a tech so rough before and I kept flinching because it hurt despite me telling her so it continued. The massage that was part of the pedicure was a hot stone massage where all she did was rub the stones up and down my legs - worst massage ever. My daughter had a dip manicure and didnt get any type of massage that generally accompanies a manicure. She spoke to her nail twch before choosing to do the dip and was told it would kast 3 weeks. One of the nails peeled in less than a week and another chipped. We aren't in Woodinville very often so on our trip here today we stopped by the salon to have the one nail fixed. They wanted me to come back, but after an already bad experience they needed to fix it on my schedule not theirs. I paid for both the manicure and pedicure at the original appointment, and was never offered any type of discount for my broken cup. I didn't ask them to pay for it since she didn't mean to break it, but I definitely expected better service. We will not be back and will not recommend this place. read more

I LOVE this nail salon so much. I have probably been to 40 different nail salons in my life and this one just had me blown away. The service is amazing , the owner is so sweet, and the staff are super respectful . I always just get a French gel mani and pedi, and it lasts me a solid two weeks. Last time I was in they did my toes and fingers at the same time and served me tea and gave me a pillow. The owner walked by a few times to make sure I was happy with the service and put an additional top coat on my toes herself. Their lobby has a leather couch and they also give hot stone massages. I've been to a couple nail salons here in WA. None have stood out like Stellar... Why? Because Peach the owner.. She cares about her customers. How do I know? Well because I had a problem with my nails a couple weeks ago, she reached out and made it right.. That for me is amazing, it shows that she cares about her customers and business.. I always bring my daughter with me.. On Mother's Day my daughter wanted to get her nails painted, now normally I pay just so someone will paint her finger and toe nails while she sits on a regular chair.. At Stellar I absolutely loved that they sat my daughter in a massage chair, soaked her feet in water and pampered her.. This won me over big time. My daughter had a smile on her face, she turned on the massage chair and drank her cup of water.. Now she wants to come get her nails done all the time.. I mean sure her finger nails might last her 2-3 days but just seeing her happy getting pampered with great service makes me want to bring her back. My nails are great.. I got a full set and pedi done on Mother's Day since the acrylic nails I had on before were on for over a month.. I get a lot of compliments by women.. I have been coming to this salon for about 2.5 months now and won't go anywhere else! Everyone is very friendly and will make sure you get what you need. I used to get shellac here but recently they had me try the SNS dipping powders. It last so long and makes my nails extremely strong so breaking them is very hard. She was very friendly and helped me customize one of the colors so it would be exactly what I wanted. Tried out this local nail salon with my daughter and friend today as they got us in for 3 last min appts at our preferred time. The adults got classic pedis which were pretty nice and included extras- sugar scrub, hot rocks- for $26. My friend introduced me to Stellar Nails and Spa! I've been in a few times and today I received a pedicure from Seth. Peach helped me the last time when my daughter and I came in, she is also very good! Just the classic pedicure which is $26! They really take their time to pamper your feet here and I don't ever feel rushed! They are amazing! They have plenty of chairs but they are always busy so I would call ahead and schedule an appointment. Everyone is very kind and helpful. Update: Shellac removal prices are all over the place. I was seeing Trina for a long time and she didn't charge anything for removing the shellac, then I saw Tammy and she charged $5 for shellac removal. Last weekend I went back to remove my shellac fully because I didn't have time to get them done and they charged $10 when it costs $25 to get a full shellac manicure. What a rip off. read more

This spa is the worst nail salon I've ever been to. Despite the mediocre reviews on here, I decided to give it a shot with my friend who had been there before, and loved it. Upon getting there, I was asked to wait for an acrylic fill, and sat for maybe 15 Minuets at the least. The woman who filled my acrylics did an okay job, but half the nails are bumpy around the edges. Many customers were offered water tea or another beverage but I was not offered anything. I was also neglected of the hand care service. My cuticles were not trimmed, I did not get a hot towel or hand massage, which is included in my package. A different woman came over to paint my acrylics, and did such a shockingly slobby job I almost considered asking for a refund. The nails are still not dry, two hours later. They are streaky and bubbly. I want to warn you, this place is a disaster. Not at all worth the $30 fill. read more

Let me start by saying I was VERY impressed with the service and the salon. The salon was clean and my shellac nails are wonderful. It was only my second time in, and I was hoping to make it my regular salon. However, when I went to pay with my gift card, I was rudely told that my gift card would not work because it was a new owner. THAT IS NOT MY FAULT. She refused to let me use it unless I had the receipt. I knew it had $20-$25 on it but I did not have the receipt because it was a GIFT. She ended up giving me the previous owners phone number, which is ridiculous. And $4 off my nails. So now I am stuck with a gift card and will not be returning. I will never return to this place again. The lady Kim who did my feet, checked me in. When I told her it was my first time, she said you get 20%off. As I was getting my nails done, I asked the lady, if it is $5 more to get my cuticles cleaned up as I always to at other shops. When I get ready to pay, the woman said it was $102.50. I asked why it was so high. She said, my pedicure is $45, and my dip nails were $45 which I agree. Then she procede to tell me it is $12 for my cuticles. I explained, I asked the lady, who did my nails, would it be an extra $5 for my cuticles, she said yes. I then to asked about my 20% discount that Kim mentioned. Of course she asked bith ladies in their native language and both women of course denied what they said to me. The lady who did my nails, said she told me she didn't know the price. If you don't know the price of a service you provide, then you need to find out and not lie about it. I am calling straight BS on that. I will never go back to this establishment. It absolutely absurd what just. happened. Every shop I have been to, it is an extra $5 for them to trim the cuticles, that is why I asked. It is not about how much I paid, it is about customer service. So basically both of your workers called me a liar and you didn't do anything to fix the situation. I will make sure I let my friends and Facebook friends know not to visit your place of business. I am a good customer to establishments and visit frequently and also tell my frinds about good customer service. You can bet you last dollar, I will them to turn away and run in the opposite direction. read more
