This is the worst Chinese food I have ever had. The fried shrimp appetizer was over cooked to point the batter was black and shrimp was tough with an old greasy flavor. The pepper beef had tough meat and weird flavor. The combination lo mein also had an off flavor but the chicken and beef were both so dry it was difficult to eat. Horrible! The delivery charged $10 more than the quote. There has to be better options in Douglas than this gross mess. I spent $50 and still have to cook dinner. I called and provided feedback to the restaurant and they said they had no complaints that the shrimp was overcooked. Wrong answer. What I got delivered was not edible. I am a truck driver traveling the United States just passing through and just so happened to like Chinese so I got me the orange chicken dinner and it is great. I would recommend getting the sauce on the side so it doesn't get all steamy and watery in the box. read more

Not great. Not great at all. Call in an order for pickup. Took 2 hours after I had to call and ask about it. Picked it up when it was my children's bedtime. The food was absolutely gross and scary looking. The eggrolls had black stuff in it. Don't know what it was. The lo mein had spaghetti noodles that were not cooked all of the way. The sesame chicken was like a soup. Only a quarter of the container was sesame chicken, the rest was huge pieces of broccoli and it was so soupy. Weird. The wontons were gross. The white rice looked and tasted like minute rice. We ended up throwing all of that $60 order in the trash and ordered dominos instead. Which took a whole 15 minutes to get. If you want good Chinese food go to Casper. read more

I don't have the highest expectations for Chinese food in small towns, but usually it's at least edible. I got the sweet and sour chicken to go. None of it felt very safe to eat. The chicken seemed old and had a white discoloration on the outside of the breading. Vegetables were mushy, also seemed old and likely frozen for months. The sauce was bland and watery, wasn't tossed or mixed well with the chicken, and sat like a soup covering the entire bottom half of the container which was a sticky mess. For $13, I basically ate white rice with bad sauce to avoid getting sick. It's extremely rare for me to write a bad review, but I felt this one was necessary. read more

I went here a couple of weeks ago for lunch, since I was craving some Chinese food that was local and also not a big chain deal. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it was absolutely delicious! I got an egg roll and the sweet and sour chicken. Safe to say, it was amazing. Everything is hand made and the staff is so kind. The egg rolls were so deliciou, I couldn't stop eating them! As for the sewer and sour chicken, it came with a large pile of rice and lots of delicious vegetables. The handmade food was better than any Chinese food I have ever had! It was (obviously) better than Panda Express. Everything was so prefect, no gross bits like I'm used to finding in restaurants chicken! DON'T DO IT. Worst ever. How do you screw up egg drop soup? They did. Mixed vegetables was chopped onion and celery with a tiny bit of green pepper and carrot cooked soft in a disgusting sauce that was horrible. Sweet and sour chicken container was 1/3 chopped onion rather than chicken. Sweet and sour sauce was NOT good. They charged $3 for delivery. Worst offence... 4 fortune cookies loose in bag. Not individualy wrapped or covered at all, just thrown loose into the bag. Wonder how many hands touched those? I understand this town is short on delivery choices, but seriously folks, you will be happier with a package of Ramen Noodles than the garbage this place puts out. This restaurant certainly surprised me with their quality dishes. The atmosphere is welcoming due to the husband (host) and wife (chef) team. They even include a wedding photo and family pictures throughout the restaurant. I ordered the egg drop soup as an appetizer and it was wonderful with the unexpected additions of water chestnuts and chopped mushrooms. The soup was a deep yellow color and no artificial dyes were used to enhance the visual appeal of the soup. I ordered a spicy chicken stir fry for the entree and was not disappointed. Fresh vegetables and generous portions of chicken with steamed rice. Although, I must add, my grandmother ordered the fried rice and it was amazing!! Food quality was decent, I asked what is the restaurant known for and the man waiting the tables replayed sesame chicken. The restaurant itself was decent, had nice paintings on the wall ( most of which were for sale). For a family owned restaurant (from what I can tell) it is very comfortable, my only and main concern is the drinks, I ordered a soda and got 1 can, which isn't refillable and was charged 2$ for it, for reference the local supermarket in town sells cans for 36 for 9.99$. You can do the math. Over all will eat here again but just for takeout. read more

We stopped in for lunch and couldn't have been more pleased! This is the BEST Chinese food I've ever had. Everything is handmade and cooked to order. First, try the hot and sour soup. It's not that gummy brown pre-made stuff. This is authentic soup with a lot of flavor and punch. I then had the traditional chicken chow mien. Superb!! To top things off, the homemade egg roll is simply perfect. I'm jealous of the the people in Douglas that get to experience this all the time. I just hope I can make it back one day. read more

A unique Chinese food experience!!! The atmosphere was atypical, the staff was atypical, the recipes were atypical, and the building was odd. All that being said it was clean, friendly, and most importantly the food was good. I'll go back if I'm ever in Douglas again. read more

The moral of the story is: don't judge a book by its cover. From the outside, the restaurant looks not so promising but once you step inside you feel the oriental vibe and get a warm welcome. The food was incredibly delicious! The Wonton soup was great, small portion but exactly what you need to calm your appetite a bit. I highly recommend the Sweet and Sour Chicken. It was amazing and so fresh as the chicken was so tender. Also, the Moo Shoo Beef was a great choice. The sauce was better than at other restaurants that I've tried. (Home made perhaps?) Lastly, if you have watched Gossip Girl, then you have to pay this place a visit! The server ( who I believe is also the owner) talks exactly like Cyrus Rose (Blair's stepdad) which made our dinner even more enjoyable!! Surprising place, amazing food, and great people. read more

Me and my significant other drive the hour from our hometown to eat here on date night. It's set in what may seem on odd location, a little ways back from the road, and next to Hardware Hanks and along that road. However don't be deceived by appearances! It is excellent food. Mike is the owner but he serves you himself and always does so with a smile. The food is exceptional and is cooked with true heart. Your order comes up quickly and the food is fantastic. They have some rare options as well, you don't often see around Wyoming, such as the blackened duck. Which is fantastic. Every meal comes with a cup of soup. I prefer the wonton. My husband loves the eggdrop. And the skilled cook wants to assure no one leaves hungry so there is certainly enough to share with your children if you wish. We've never had anything that wasn't perfectly cooked and delightfully savory. Stop in and tell them hi! Enjoy the homey atmosphere, some friendly service, and some hearty food. I travel for work often and when I'm in a new town I like to try new restaurants. Last week I went there on a tuesday and it wasn't even busy but SOMEHOW I waited over 40 minutes for a plate of "beef and mixed vegetables" I used the quotation marks because it should have been called mixed vegetables that would of been a bit more appropriate. This is a very clean place but thats the best part. The service sucked, which is par for the course in wyoming. The food used fish broth in everything making everything taste like clam chouder. I ate here on 5/17/14 with my family. We ordered 5 different dishes to share & they were ALL excellent. Lemon Chicken, Broccoli Beef, Curry Shrimp, Cashew Chicken, & a spicy shrimp dish w/ red sauce (that I can't remember the name of). OMGosh - EVERY SINGLE DISH WAS SO TASTY & the ingredients fresh. This is a locally owned restaurant where the owner does ALL the cooking herself & SOMEtimes even takes the orders. worst ever, my son and i have been all over this country and i would say this takes the cake on the worst food and service we had ever seen! we waited for a hour for are food first of all, then,one of the locals said it was good so we waited , i thought i would give the place the benefit of the doubt! No way; should have known, better by the way the place looked. they microwaved are food we got, and burnt the rest in the fryer! I have been coming to this restaurant since they were located in Casper. I am not sure why they have an adverse review because I do know personally this place is always immaculate and is deep cleaned from ceiling to floorboard every week. Honestly, if I could give this place negative stars, I would. My husband and I debated going because of the negative reviews, but the positive ones were SO positive, we thought we'd take a chance. Big mistake! The fact that the staff drinks water bottles and doesn't drink their own water should tell you something. The egg roll was battered and deep fried, and they didn't offer a vegetarian option. We ordered broccoli and chicken. It came in a weird thin white sauce, not the brown sauce we thought. The chicken was grey and rubbery, the broccoli was soggy and yet somehow undercooked. Even my husband, who I call the human garbage disposal, wouldn't touch it. Don't make the same mistake we did.
