Our sever was excellent and very friendly. The food came out pretty fast and everything was prepared perfectly. We did not have dessert because we were to full to even look at any more food. OK I've put them on probation a few times but my absolute last visit was last Monday my birthday. And we actually went there to give them 1 more chance. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak skillet and asked the waitress to tell them to cook the peppers and onions well because I don't like raw / white onions. Used to love going into this place but after having items missing for order for delivery and being told only way to get it is to pick it up. I have to say stay away. Went for the first time tonight. I was craving a corned beef and pastrami sandwich and no delis were open in the area past 8pm. I have to say that they did an excellent job with it. While it wasn't quite The Stage, The Carnegie, Katz's or even Harold's my sandwich was juicy and flavorful. I would go back again for it. My wife had a gyro, which she enjoyed quite a lot. She ordered a coffee with dessert and it wasn't fresh. She mentioned this to the waiter and he brought her a tea as a replacement (per her request) promptly. I was in this past Monday, 6.8.15....I'd never been before but it was close to the beach so we tried it. So happy we did! I had the AMAZING cinnabun pancakes w scrambled eggs/cheese on the side and my friend had an omelet w meat/veggies. First, the waitress (who's name I forgot and I feel so bad!) was super sweet and helpful since we'd never been there we did ask a couple of questions. Second, those cinnabun pancakes were to die for....seriously--so good! Fast, hot, tasty food with friendly service....I was very pleased. The outside is clearly an old Wawa but the inside is lovely, decorated well, visually clean upon entering and had clean table tops and clean silverware. For a diner we had the most amazing Linguine with RED Clam Sauce rivaling most Italian restaurants in the area !! A dozed clams in the shell surrounded the dish and the sauce was spot on simply delicious!! Great ........their Cob salad in a taco bowl was awesome also. That NY mineral drinking water that's why. Good food. If you are against blue cheese make sure your dressing is right before you smear it all over your salad. First time visit to this diner. I had the french toast (and pork roll side) and it was the best I have ever had in my life. The owner, a very amiable guy, is out on the "front lines" taking care of business, not hiding away in some back office. I spoke with the owner very briefly and told him about the french toast and I could tell right away that he takes great pride in his establishment and the satisfaction of his customers regarding the quality of food and service he provides. The diner itself is very clean, modern, and well decorated. The food and beverages are very reasonably priced, in my opinion. I wish I lived closer to this restaurant. read more

There are so many diners in New Jersey. It takes a lot to really stand out. One thing that's different about Four Seasons is that it's an Italian diner, instead of Greek like most of the ones I go to. You can tell by looking at the pastry case when you walk in - less baklava and elephant ears, more Italian cookies and cannolis. Where the difference really stands out, though is in their red sauce. GET THE CHICKEN PARM. Sorry for the all caps, but I want to make sure you see it. Get the chicken parm. It is, bar none, the best chicken parm I've ever had at a diner. The sauce is amazing. As far as I'm concerned, if nothing else on the menu was good, it would be worth going back just for the chicken parm. Fortunately, that's not the case - everything I've ordered has been good. Especially the french onion soup, which is nearly as amazing as the chicken parm. The only thing so far that I haven't liked is the crab cake eggs benedict. The crab cake tasted bland, like it was just a frozen cake from the food distributor. On the other hand, it was less than a week after Sandy, so maybe they were getting by with what they could. Still, I won't be buying it again just in case. It won't stop me from going back though - especially if I want anything typically Italian for dinner. Their menu is large and includes a great variety of breakfast items, sandwiches, burgers, salads and entrees. They tout 'award winning pancakes' so I am definitely planning on coming back for breakfast to try them out. I had the chicken cheese steak and it was really good. The ambiance is really nice and it's a BYOB which saves a little money. The server was not super attentive, once the food was delivered she never came back to check on us (i had to steal ketchup from another table).
