Aiden quoted me a reasonable build within my budget and then I did nothing about it for 3 years. When my stock engine finally gave out, I reconnected with Aiden and he quickly developed a new build. He explained the purpose of every item he spec'd out, giving several options and recommendations without trying to oversell. Then I go see my buddy Hanley at Silver Star Motors in Swampscott and he takes my car in and will either put it on a lift or pull out a flash light and show me exactly what's wrong, give me an estimate, and take care of it for a fraction of what these other places are charging. I have a 2006 Audi A6 that I bought with 80,000 miles and have run it up to 250,000 miles with Hanley doing all the maintenance. Hanley is an Audi certified technician and knows how to fix them like the back of his hand.

Like someone else mentioned, the negotiation part was pretty much useless (I ended up paying the full price anyway) but I still got a good deal. Moreover, they made my new beemer just the way I wanted. Windows were tinted and links and bushing were replaced (to get rid of the noise) at no charge. I picked up the car three days after (because they said I can't drive freshly tinted car) fully registered and already with inspection sticker... again, at no charge to me!
