Then I came across this cafe on Google maps and it looked great. The drinks look light and refreshing and it was a great mid-point stop, very close off the freeway. It's located inside a plaza so plenty of parking. Today is a Saturday and they had a free snack tasting thing going on in case you wanted to pick up something extra. My brother got the Sweet Yuzu Ade, my partner got the Honey Grapefruit Black Tea, and I got the Korean Sikhye. All iced drinks and made pretty quickly. No sweetness adjusted because it's already light on sugar supposedly. I sampled all of them, and I think my favorite was the Sweet Yuzu just because it's citrus-y, fizzy, and refreshing. The honey Grapefruit is unique. I normally really like grapefruit drinks and this is no expection. The honey and tea adds a slight tang to the drink. For me, I guess I was feeling adventurous with trying something completely different today. The sikhye is made from fermented sweet rice and malted barley. I expected it to be sweet, but maybe the sweet rice makes took it up an extra notch. I found it just a tad sweeter than I would have liked. But otherwise, it's also a very refreshing drink. I like the bits of rice you get here and there while drinking. Other than drinks, they have some jewelry, stationaries, and lots of snacks available for purchase. They even have kimbap and fried chicken! We may just be back another time on our way back.

It was actually quite nice as it was next to the "fireplace". On the other side of the fireplace was another single table & bench mirroring my side. Since it was just me, none of the complete family meals or platters for 2, 4 or more were practical. Depending those had appetizers, naan, rice besides an entree. I decided garlic naan was a better side than rice or daal to go with my chicken tandoori. The entree menu said leg and thigh. It was twice what that implied. Two full legs with drumsticks & thighs. At 4 pieces of meat it was basically half a chicken. Served with lime wedges on a bed of shredded vegetables (carrot, green bell pepper & onion). We found…read morethis place on the internet, and to our surprise it was located off the beaten path in a senior center, They serve breakfast and lunch, and have a few tables for seating, We ordered a dilled chicken sandwich and a tuna salad sandwich to go, both on Dave's Killer bread. Sandwiches were $10 each and came with chips. A couple of hours later, we opened the boxes of sandwiches. Each sandwich had a hearty serving of the tuna/chicken salad with lettuce, tomatoes and avocados, But wait, there's more! Each had a small boat with a slice of orange, watermelon, pineapple, a strawberry and a few grapes. Bonus: two small cornichons., and a small piece of salted dark chocolate! The sandwiches were delectable and I look forward to eating there again, and tring the breakfast as well.
