Last night was my first visit to Fournos, and I can't wait to go again. What really stood out was the friendliness of the place. Our server, Effy, was patient and welcoming as my friend and I had a lot of catching up to do. The menu was appealing, and ultimately we got two pasta dishes, which we both enjoyed a lot. I had the Putenesca, which was a generous, and very tasty dish. My friend had the Alfredo, which looked delicious. But the capper was desert. We split a Tiramisu, which was a good choice as the serving was more than adequate. And very delicious. It was rich and chocolaty, and garnished with pomegranate seeds, which were an unexpected and zesty treat. BTW, parking was easy and the location is convenient. Review for a to go order: My family and I suffer from heart burn, but this place did not activate it. Not the pizza or the buffalo sauce. The sauce, the pizza sauce, was DELICIOUS. You can smell all the seasoning/ fresh herbs. Finally, a place where they do not DRENCH their wings in buffalo sauce. Now the tiramisu, good lord, it was so good. Soft, creamy, and yet, easy to eat. The worker and owner were very tentative of my sister and I, as soon as we walked in; With a warm smile. I'm so happy this place opened up in our community. Will come here again. read more

This is my go-to neighborhood hangout. Great menu and rotating specials. When I can't choose what I want, they will often suggest variations to dishes that they can whip up for me. Staff is very friendly and good to chat with. Often run into locals I haven't seen in a while or, of course, other regulars. I like the mix of Italian and Greek offerings, even though I'm still working on my pronunciations. ;-) read more

Really cute little place we kept seeing while driving by and wanted to give a try. We both had gyros in pita, spanakopita as an appetizer and drinks, which were all delicious. We have ordered from here several times in the past few months, combination of eat-in and take-out. The vibe here on a Sunday night was super friendly and there were a few large groups eating together and watching the game and everyone seemed to know each other. It was a busy night and they handled the crowd flawlessly, despite a million orders flowing, it was impressive to watch. The customer service was great that night, which is why I went back to check it out for lunch a few weeks later. First and foremost, the chicken pita is fantastic, I've ordered it 3-4x since then and it is consistently delicious. I ordered a 14in cheese pizza and mozzarella sticks for pickup! Everything was ready on time and was fresh and still hot! Pizza was delicious and not too oily with a perfect amount of sauce and cheese ratio. The mozzarella sticks were the perfect consistency on the outside with some crunch and the soft cheese inside balanced it out well. The service was also great! I walked across town last Saturday to try out Fournos Pizzeria & Bistro. A pleasant greeting and was immediately sat at a table next to the entrance. Quick and polite service started which had me believing this was to be a good experience. Wrong! Directly next to us in our view, were 3 men seated at the bar. I noticed one of them that had his pants so far down that more than half of his naked buttocks was pressing out of the open back chair he was sitting in. Directly to his left was a Woman with her very young daughter waiting for their order. My wife's seat was closest behind this man. I quietly stepped to this man and calmly asked him to pull up his pants specifically due to the closeness of women and a young child in his proximity and returned to my seat. This man turned and glared at me from his raised chair, obviously inebriated and told me, "Well don't look." I again asked from my seat, for him to pull up his pants. One of the other men that was seated with him, inebriated as well, turned and yelled "Why was I bullying people?" A man behind me, witnessed and confirmed that I was polite and would go and get the "Owner." A man appeared from the kitchen and looked at them like the three stooges with a smirk on his face, wondering what they had done. I told him that I simply asked for this man to pull up his pants. This "Owner" said, "They're regulars. What do you want me to do about it?" I told him out of the respect of women and children present nor was I going to dine with this extreme amount of bare butt pressed out at my table to have him fix his pants. I would think as an alleged owner, at minimum, from a sanitary point in a food establishment, this was a quick and easy fix. Especially if he had a relationship with these "regulars." He went into the kitchen and returned with an apron and put it over the back of the chair. Never asked this man to pull up his pants. He looked at me and said, "There. Are you happy now?" Like I was the problem. One by one, the stooges left. Two out of three attempting intimidating comments to me as they left. The chair was never cleaned after the man had his bare butt all over it. We saw another patron arrive and sit down in that chair. If you're looking for an establishment that has zero respect for women and children, wants to over serve their "regulars" and provides unsanitary chairs for you to dine in, try Fournos.
