Incredible and WELL worth the wait. This is a popular Denver spot so make sure to check in online and join the queue early, so you don't wait outside as long. If you can, go on a week day (we went Thursday morning and waited for about 15 minutes). Very cozy vibes, great service, and for those hot sauce fans a hot sauce wall! Reasonably priced and unbelievable delicious. My husband goes every time he is in Denver and I can't wait to make that part of my routine as well.

Went for Swiftie brunch. The themed menu was so fun! Everything was delicious! I especially loved the huevos rancheros

In desperate need of a catch-up session, the girls and I made reservations at the trendy Fox and the Hen to do just that. It proved to be a great start to our day! SPACE: Located in the highlands, this place has become the new "it" spot when it comes to breakfast. It's easy to spot on the corner, has decent street parking options and cute as pie inside. Bright colors splash the walls, which are lined with booths and tables alike. Community seating is in the middle, which the girls and I were happy to dine at. The color scheme here is so fun and welcoming, creating a happy and fun vibe. SERVICE: We were greeted inside by a friendly host who explained they were on a small wait. MAKE A RESERVATION and you'll be able to skip the wait, like we did, as this place is popular and fills up fast! Our server, his name escapes me now, was SO fun. He had us laughing, excited about the various food and drink offerings and made us feel right at home. It was obvious he was outgoing and truly enjoyed his job, which made all the difference in service! SIPS: We all opted for various coffee and matcha drinks. I sipped on the iced cereal milk latte, while my sister sampled the fruity pebbles matcha and our cousin had the cortado. YUM! SUSTENANCE: Such fun and different food options - which had us craving both savory and sweet! We started with the sausage in a blanket and loaded hashbrown, which was so good! My sister opted for a benedict, cousin got the massive breakfast burrito, and I opted for the breakfast salad - which was perfectly seasoned, crunchy, salty with a runny egg on top. SERIOUSLY YUM! We also chose to try the buttermilk and blueberry pancakes, because why the heck not?! Everything came out in good time, was pretty in presentation and absolutely delicious! Portions are massive so come hungry! Here's to more breakfast dates at this new and fun spot!!

I appreciate they have a waitlist option but it was very daunting to see that I was close to number 60 on the list around 11 am. It's prime time for brunch so be advised the wait can be quite long. We were very lucky and snagged two seats at the bar which are open seating - there are only 6! The brunch gods were smiling down at us. The menu has some unique and tasty options. We got the passion fruit lemonade (refreshing), an ice coffee with oat milk (they give you the oat milk to add in to your liking), a spritzer type cocktail, an unsmothered burrito, a side of pancakes, a tater tot, and a traditional breakfast. The pancakes were probably my favorite item as they were nice and sweet and fluffy. The staff was quite nice, lots of outdoor seating to enjoy on a great spring day, super busy on a Saturday and I expect the same on a Sunday.

So yummy!! It's my first time visiting and I tried the hash brown animal style which was delicious & super crunchy, we also had mortadella breakfast sandwich with crispy onions, scrambled eggs & blueberry jam I know it sounds weird but it was so good! The blueberry pancakes were also delish, TBH everything sounded great

Stopped by on a Monday afternoon for our brunch fix and stumbled upon this cute and fun spot. They took time to explain their service fee included concept and their hot sauce wall with so many options. We ended up getting the deconstructed Big Mac omelet with fries and a build your own omelet (only chose to get mushrooms and bacon inside) with a side of potatoes. The Big Mac omelet was flavorful if craving a burger but had to get used to having ground beef with the eggs. Otherwise, loved the concept! The BYO omelet was as a bit underwhelming but I wasn't expecting much from my basic order. I was hoping the potatoes would have more crisp texture on the outside and some more flavor though.

I can see why this place is popular! The vibes are so chill and I love the hot sauce wall they have where you can just pick out something to try. The coffee was really good and the portion sizes were great. The servers were all really helpful and nice. The peanut butter in the french toast was really gritty. I probably wouldn't get that again but maybe the Big Mac omelette

One of the best spots we tried in Denver! Everything tasted amazing. I still think about those pancakes, sour dough slice & potatoes! We came here with a friend before we headed out to Pikes Peak and I am so glad we did. I ordered the two eggs, potatoes & sour dough bread. My husband ordered the chicken sandwich and our friend ordered the tacos con huevos. We were all happy with our food orders and raved at how good everything tasted! I wish we were able to come back here before we left.

Throughly enjoyed brunch at Fox and the Hen! We waited about 20 minutes for a table around 10:00 on a Monday. 20% gratuity is added to your bill. Breakfast burrito: 4.5/5 (recommend getting the sauce on the side so it's easier to eat and doesn't get soggy) Biscuits: 5/5 Chicken sausage: 3.5/5 Fun bright restaurant! Outdoor patio as well. Love the seasonal menu items! Kind server!

Everything from the atmosphere, service, and food was incredible! So flavorful with great options to choose from. Tried a variety and loved everything! Such a cute brunch/lunch place! They also have a waitlist you can get on easily online but plenty of seating outside while you wait too. Goes quickly. Will be back for sure!

Came here for brunch with friends (3 of us) and was told we'd be seated in about 30-40 minutes and to grab a drink from the bar and/or some small bites. We opted for just a cold brew since it would only be 30-40min until we'd be seated no need for small bites. 45 minutes later we kept thinking our name would be called next. After a 1hr 45min wait I approached the hostess desk and then we were finally seated. Things to note. They do not give accurate wait time and they already add their 20% gratuity so they do not care about their service. The food was alright, the sausage and biscuit small bite is a breakfast sausage wrapped in a crescent roll. The Bloody Mary was good and the place is cute.

We came at 8:30am on a Saturday and the place was packed! Even with a reservation, we ended up sitting at the community table with a larger party. They were friendly so it was great. The host did give us the option of waiting a little longer. They have a heated patio to extend the space a bit, but it was so cold it wasn't open today. The food was stellar. So impressed with everything- the chef really knows how to play with texture. We did the foxy burrito, which was perfectly spicy and had fried potatoes in it for a little crunch. We tried some of the hot sauces but it really didn't need it. The hot sauce wall with local hot sauces was a great touch though. We also had the pb&j French toast- it tasted more like a pb&j sandwich than French toast, which was good but not quite what I was expecting. I think next time I will try the pumpkin-less spice French toast, the huevos rancheros or the tacos. Other people at the table had them and I want to try them- not because our food was bad (it was excellent) but because there are so many good items on the menu that I want to come back and try them all. I was uber impressed with our coffee as well. We got the "not my gumdrop buttons" latte, which was a gingerbread latte with a little gingerbread cookie. First off, I'm a sucker for a good Shrek reference. Plus the latte was perfection- not too sweet, all the flavors were distinct. Plus it was served in the sweetest cup with a little fox that revealed himself as we drank it. Christine, our server, was upbeat and on it- fabulous service, even while running a 10 top at the same time. Highly highly recommend. Will absolutely be back

We joined the waitlist at 10:00am before leaving the house and weren't seated until 1:30pm. It's worth noting, there's no estimated wait time. You are instead given a place in line and it ticks down. Other places must turn tables faster or have more seating. Had we known it would be 3 hours, we would have gone elsewhere. On the plus side, you can watch your place in line on the OpenTable app. It lets you walk around so we made the most of it. Walked the neighborhood, grabbed drinks at another bar, and even checked out an open house before coming back. Overall it was a fun morning for our group but we were tired and so hungry by the time we got seated. The food and service were good, but fairly average overall. It felt on par with places like Jelly or Snooze. I'm glad they're doing well but don't be afraid to go elsewhere if the line is crazy. You're not really missing out.

Warm, happy to have us there, easy to talk to. I mentioned to my friend that I was thinking about a bloody mary, and a minute or two later Ryan asked if he should get that bloody started. He'd caught it in passing conversation, not because he was hovering. That's a hard balance to strike and he nailed it all afternoon. The drinks were great. Nothing fancy on my end, a bloody mary, a shaken screwdriver. Not too strong or weak. Sounds simple, but a lot of bartenders can't consistently hit it! We all got eggs your way, simple stuff done well. The roasted fingerling potatoes were crispy outside, fluffy inside, super good!! The strawberry jam was giving homemade, but I didn't confirm. Overall, Ryan made the visit. Calm presence, good company, and there's nothing better than a brunch seat at his bar next to those big open windows!

It sits conveniently near the Convention Center, possesses a polished dining room, and harbors ambitions that deserve encouragement. On the Fourth of July, however, time itself wandered off to watch fireworks. Six coworkers and I arrived for our 7:30 reservation. We were seated immediately at a comfortable table in the back. The dining room was only about two-thirds full, which made the evening's upcoming mystery all the more impressive. That prompt seating, as it turned out, was the fastest thing that would happen to us all night. Our server greeted us, took drink orders, and brought out some warm Parker House rolls with Amish butter, alongside a bowl of French onion soup. This part was good. The rolls were soft; the soup was rich and comforting. Spirits were high. We ordered our entrees. Then the clocks stopped. Twenty minutes passed. Then forty. Then an hour. At first, we assumed our meals required extraordinary craftsmanship. Perhaps each potato was receiving a heartfelt, individual farewell before being mashed. Maybe the cows for our burgers were being transported from the farm where they source their meat in Wyoming fresh to order. But then we noticed something unsettling: nearly every table around us was waiting, too. Plates were strangely absent across the entire room. We had all been trapped inside an intermission with no second act. Our server, looking more exhausted with every trip from the kitchen, assured us our meals had "just been fired." I believed that he believed it. Ten more minutes drifted by. Our dinners finally appeared roughly ninety minutes after we had ordered. I felt bad for the man. He stayed friendly and professional while serving as the lightning rod for a kitchen catastrophe he had nothing to do with. Sometimes the person carrying the bad news is the one who deserves the most sympathy. The food, at least, tried its best. One of us couldn't stop talking about how excellent the pork chop was. Another declared the salmon outstanding. Three of us ordered the Brush Creek Wagyu burger. Mine arrived a perfect medium-rare. The other two, ordered medium, arrived practically mooing. But after waiting an hour and a half, nobody had the stomach to send them back into the void. They just ate their rare meat and kept quiet. To the restaurant's credit, our server chopped twenty-five percent off the bill without us having to ask. It was a decent, quiet gesture. It acknowledged that the evening had gone entirely off the rails. Corinne clearly has potential. The location is great, the space is nice, and when the food actually makes it to the table, it's mostly quite good. I suspect we simply wandered in on a spectacularly bad holiday evening. Even so, a ninety-minute wait and some undercooked burgers are hard to ignore. I hope our night was the exception, but I'm not entirely sure I'd gamble my evening to find out.

Location (4 stars) This restaurant is downtown near the convention center. parking is pricy if you valet park at the hotel. Last year it was around $40. Parking in the lot across the street for $25 dollars Easter Sunday. If you use a walker, I would not recommend the parking lot across the street. Food (3 Stars) The Thanksgiving buffet is the best one. I would rate that buffet a (4). The Christmas and Easter buffet are pretty low key. There is a carving station (ham and prime rib). There is an omelet station. Dessert bar is decorative. Cheesecake was delicious. The warming station with potatoes, sausage etc. leaves much to be desired. The charcuterie station is sparse. They offer unlimited mimosas for an additional $25. Service (5 stars) Staff are extremely friendly. Cleanliness (2 stars) My only complaint, I saw a tabletop being cleaned off with a rag used to clean the chairs and then under the table on the floor and on to the next tabletop. I'm just a little picky about that. Especially since folks these days go commando and wear short attire, and you know their parts are on the chair and now spread to tabletops. Wiping up the crumbs off the floor with same rag simply through me over the edge. Atmosphere (4 stars) Spacious uncrowded environment. Nice decor. Bright with large windows.

I saw Former Saint on CBS News, and the menu and food looked incredible. In particular, that white chocolate blueberry cheesecake was something I know my hubby would look forward to all week! I loved the idea of local food and fresh homemade dishes. Sounds healthy, after a week of potential over-indulgence at other restaurant week venues. An additional bonus was that it is located right near the Denver Convention Center and the Performing Arts Center. This has become a dry spot for fine dining, with even the choices on Larimer Square growing more thin, giving rise to the inability to get reservations at favorites like Tamayo and Rioja prior to a show. I go to performances frequently with friends, and despite my rule to avoid hotel restaurants (Former Saint is in the Hyatt Regency), I thought I'd scope out Former Saint as a place to take my friends before the next symphony or Children's Chorale or ballet or broadway performance. I must say, the jury is still out. Former Saint was a Jekyll and Hyde of courses. Parking was not difficult (Yay, maybe I can park here prior to my shows, if I grab a bite first). There is a large garage, and the promise of validation from the restaurant. The ambiance of the restaurant is typical hotel restaurant. Booths, tables, old and a bit drab. Except for the bar. Oh, my! The bar has this BEAUTIFUL copper creation above it, adding so much industrial character to the space! I was in awe looking at it, as it appeared to bring craft suds to the bartender's taps. I didn't ask how it worked, as it wasn't clear how the beer separation and dispensing worked, but it was a great centerpiece and spectacle for the place. I do wish I had investigated more about this architectural marvel, and will do so if I return. For restaurant week, my husband chose the Lobster Ravioli, Ribeye, and blueberry cheesecake (as predicted). I chose the Gotham salad, roasted chicken, and key lime tart. The lobster ravioli was nice; my husband was surprised that it was a toasted ravioli, but enjoyed it. My salad was full of beautiful greens, pears, walnuts, and feta. No scrimping here! The dressing was light and sweet/sour. The pears were a bit unripe and crisp, to the point that I was having trouble identifying exactly what fruit I was eating, but other than that, the salad was beautiful, healthy, and ample. My husband's ribeye steak was a nice cut, done to his liking. Slivered hash browns were underneath with a nice green chimichurri on top and some sliced Fresnos adding a welcome kick to the dish. My chicken was delightful. 1/2 chicken on the bone, seasoned nicely, and with a pan sauce. The breast was super-tender and delicious. It came atop cheesy grits, which was a yummy substitute for a mashed potato. I also was served side salad of curly lettuce and fennel. I probably didn't need more salad, but I was glad to have the healthy side on my plate. I will say that this salad was over-seasoned. The chicken and grits were great, but the salad too salty. My husband ordered a glass of J. Lohr Cabernet, which was a very nice find on the wine list, as far as a pairing for his ribeye. That said, the glass cost $30! A bit much, I might say. The real detractor, unfortunately, was dessert. The blueberry cheesecake looked nothing like the beautiful creamy white cheesecake accented throughout by purple blueberries, which I saw on the CBS News clip. My husband was served a very small solid purple slice, overcome with whipped cream dollops. This cheesecake had been uncovered in the fridge too long, with sort of a skin on it. My husband ate almost none of it. My key lime tart was similarly over-adorned with whipped cream, although I had some nice raspberries on top. The tart also seemed overexposed to the cool air, with the thickening of a skin on top. It was a very disappointing way to end a nice meal, and belied the healthy, homemade, craft theme. High points of this experience include the well-crafted and healthy entrees, the fact that we could see the convention center right outside our window (i.e., the location is perfect for pre-event or -theater), the $3.00 validated parking fee, and that beautiful copper tap system. Will the pros outweigh the cons? Will we be back with friends? Time will tell.

Our waiter was on top of it and made sure that we had everything that we needed. The food was tasty and came out super hot! I would be happy to come back here. Overall 5/5 stars

This was pretty disappointing as I was really anticipating a great experience all around after seeing the Yelp reviews and getting recommended this place by a local. I was also excited when I saw the expansive menu with lots of great-looking options. The food was also subpar for my tastebuds. The scrambled eggs were lukewarm and lacked flavor. The pancake crumbled as soon as you put syrup and tried to pick it up. The best part was the chicken sausage, which was served hot and not too salty or oily. I really liked the vibe inside, with the open feeling and the red brick interior. There are clean bathrooms. Our waitress was really great - super kind and attentive. Unfortunately the kitchen lacked. It was convenient being able book a reservation, they also have a waitlist that you can join prior to heading to the restaurant. I probably would skip this place if you're visiting from out of town like I am. There are a lot of other brunch spots in the city that I would want to try instead.

Laid back vibe and welcoming staff. Nothing pretentious at all. The bartenders were knowledgeable and gave great suggestions. Always stayed on top of my drinks. The thing I like most about Death & Co is the way the categorize their drinks: Light and playful, bright and confident, elegant and timeless, boozy and honest, and rich and comforting. I had the aqua profunda (cognac, St. George basil eau di vie, lillet rose, strawberry, lime, and absinthe). I also had the eight limb daiquiri (rum, Canada aguardiente, Thai tea cordial, lime leaf, and Maraschino). The Blood Oath (mezcal, Vecchio del capo, Calabrian chili amaro, St. Germain Elderflower, lavender, honey, lemon). All were complex and delicious. You could pick out every flavor, yet everything melded together so well. They also have some basic bar food and snacks, but somewhat elevated. I had the D&C Burger and it was juicy, rich, and had some great accompanying fries. I usually try to give a more in depth idea of cocktails available, but Death & Co has such a diverse menu with so many amazing craft cocktails that I can't offer that this time . . . you'll have to go in and see it for yourself!

Even though we are locals, and only staying one night - you would never know. Everything was perfect. The room was clean, neat, and stocked, Thanks for the champagne - the wife loved it. The employees were all extremely pleasant, and super helpful. Dinner at the EDGE was unbelievable, and maybe the best cut of Beef I've ever had. The EDGE host, servers, and waiter were just so helpful, knowledgeable, and just NICE. One of the best Anniversary dinners we've ever had, and that was LARGELY in part of our main waiter - I am so disappointed in myself that I can't remember his name. He was AWESOME!!! Thank you all for a wonderful staycation, and a better 33rd anniversary. The nicest hotel in Colorado we have ever stayed in, by far, and possibly the nicest hotel and staff we've stayed in anywhere in the US or other countries. I had mentioned when I made our reservations that it was our anniversary as I do with every anniversary dinner or travel reservation I make - but EVERY single hotel employee or restaurant staff wished us a happy anniversary - not just the front desk as usual for hotels, this kept a smile on our face the entire time. Thank you for making this 33rd Anniversary so special.

Yes the room was clean, the bed comfortable etc. But that's to be expected of any hotel. I've had better breakfasts at a Days Inn and they were free not 30.00+. The wait staff were not attentive and it took 15 minutes after i ordered to get coffee and another 15 to get my breakfast, eggs and bacon etc. Sorry, I am a functionalist and I did not see any benefits to staying here versus the other hotels in the area that were half the price. The staff were great. They seemed happy and were helpfull.
