In May of 2025, I left a review about the sexist employee they had. They left a fake apologetic response, called me to ask if there was anything they could do to turn it around, and then never went through with anything nor never spoke to me again. Instead of fixing my sensor - the thing I paid them to do - they lied they aligned/calibrated it and did nothing else. Not to mention, when calling to ask about what they could do to change my opinion/review, I straight up told them that if they would fix the part that they should've (since I've already paid for it) but fix it for "free" (aka don't charge me again???) that I would be pleased and would be more than happy to delete the review. They claimed that they would call me back to see "what they could do" and yet I never heard from them again. It's been over a year and my car's crash sensor was never fixed nor acknowledged again. I have photo evidence of my original review. My original review was: "Very nasty and disrespectful towards women in the service department. Every time I asked a question I'd receive a condescending answer with a cocked head and scrunched face from frank. Very unprofessional. Beware of being overcharged here! I was charged an extra $14 for my oil change with no explanation as to why. Here's the whole story: I was quoted a price on the Fox Nissan Ann Arbor website that my oil change was going to be $47.95. If you try to book an appointment online right now, that is the price quoted (I just checked again). While I was waiting in the waiting room for my oil change to be completed, I received a text with extra services that I could add on. I chose to decline all of them, and was presented with a total for the oil change: $51.63. I still have the text message that states this price. It said this is $47.95 + a $2 shop charge + $1.68 of tax. Okay, makes sense, no big deal. I provided a signature through the text confirming the service and price. However, when my oil change was done and I went to the cash register, the price was suddenly $65.02. When I inquired about this extra charge, the cashier simply said "I don't know, tax maybe?" There is definitely no way there was $14 of tax! Plus, the tax had already been added on (remember, the $1.68). I paid the $65.02 because I didn't know what else to do, but I do not understand why I was quoted a much lower number on both the website and text message, and why, even after I signed in agreement to that lower price, I was then charged an extra $14. Before bringing my car in, I had done a lot of shopping around for the best oil change price and was confident that Nissan was the best choice. I am now regretting that, as it ended up being way more expensive that the competitors, with absolutely no explanation as to why. I will be taking my business somewhere that has more fair and honest pricing, and I caution others to be very aware of the price quoted online and the actual price they are charged at Nissan. read more

Took my Juke in for tires and general maintenance. Frank, in service was great to work with. Had scheduled on line and it didn't work but he let me leave my car anyway. I appreciated that since I had a ride home already scheduled. Inquired about a car on 12/28. Set up an appointment on 12/30 to have a car inspected prior to purchasing. Sales person with intitials A.S. promises to deliver to shop for an inspection. Admits to failing to follow through and promises that it will get there eventually and just ghosts me. I was intentionally ignored. No return phone calls, or emails. Car is now gone. I had a scheduled appointment (9 am) at Fox Ann Arbor Nissan in Jackson road (Ann Arbor, MI) for a diagnostic service to check what caused the check engine light with U0164 (communication not established to climate control unit), which happened after I replaced with used one.). I arrived 10 min early and waited two hrs, during which I watched my car entire time from their waiting room. They spent no more than 10 ~ 15 minutes and reported to me U0164 code from their OBD2 reader, which I already know. Then, they told me they need to spend minimum 4 hrs to track down the actual cause ($600+). I was charged $155 for the work they spent 10 ~ 20 minutes. They did not perform multipoint check, which other new car dealers (Toyota and VW in my case) always perform for this kind of diagnostic service. All they did was to stick OBD2 reader (their version) to the diagnostic port and read the diagnostic code. This is a 5 minutes work, which I routinely perform on my car using a ~$20 OBD2 reader. Overall, I felt that this dealership is very dishonest to me. I have never had and expected this kind of experience from any new car dealership. read more

We went in on May 31 of this year to purchase a specific used vehicle. We had previously done some homework on this vehicle, and were prepared to walk out with this vehicle if we could work out price. First thing I noticed was how apathetic the two salesman behaved on the floor. They actually had a discussion as to who was going to talk to us, they both claimed to be "busy." Perhaps it was our attire, because we had come directly from the lake cottage and we were all enjoying out time off. My daughter-in-law is in her last year of Residency as an ER Doctor , and my son is finishing his finance degree at a small private college. And lastly, I'm a business owner...so let's just say we are all very busy and we were enjoying our time off, and had our scrub lake attire on. The Sales rep pulls the vehicle around front, we pile in for our test drive, pull out of the lot and onto the road, and notice the flat tire indicator light is on. We immediately pull around and back into the lot. The sales guy proceeds to tell us "oh yeah, I saw that light on, had our service dept look at it and it says the back tire is flat but it's not, we checked it." Then we say "But it looks like the front left is almost flat." And then he replies "Oh it's fine, we don't think the nail is all the way through the tire, you're fine." None of this took place "prior" to us taking the vehicle out. So we are already not off to a good start. We sit down to discuss price and he states the price listed is the best price, and we counter with some of the facts we already knew based on researching this vehicle. It actually wasn't that they didn't seem to want to negotiate price (and this lot is PACKED with cars they need to move, you can't even find a place to park, we had to park near the side of the road.) it was his apathetic attitude the entire time. One of his excuses regarding the flat tire was that the vehicle had been sitting there for weeks and wasn't moved...dude...isn't that your job...to "sell" cars? Based on their apathetic and sub par negotiating skills it's no wonder their lot is jam packed. We ended up buying a brand new Jeep Cherokee from a different Dealership, so we're pretty happy. Perhaps if they cared about a prospect walking in the door and didn't treat us like a nuisance, we would have either purchased that car, or maybe another one on the lot. Customer service and satisfaction is my number one concern in my business, so here is my advice to the Dealership. NEVER quickly prequalify a prospect by the way they are dressed. read more

I live 45 minutes from Ann Arbor and called every dealership far and wide and Brad and Carrie were able to give me the best deal on leasing my new 2023 AWD Pathfinder. Leases are so expensive now and I almost went with a crappy Chevy Blazer FWD with no upgrades or leather seating inside for a similar price. Glad I dodged that bullet. Brad, along with Nick explained the breakdown of the cost and all the cool features I had questions about using. They were straight shooters and didn't give me the slimy sales pitch or vibe. So we dropped by to take a look and see what was available, the pre-owned cars were not well marked. We even got yelled at by a porter to move our car because we accidentally parked in the wrong area, we had no idea because once again no signs indicated this. The final straw was when we walked around for a few minutes to find the cars actually for sale, and not a single person was available or came out to see if we needed help. at first they didn't want to sell me my Infiniti. after jumping through hoops and demanding to speak with the sales manager I was able to buy the car, but I was lied to about what was wrong with the car. 1. they said that the car needed shocks which they were going to fix before I bought it.... nope. even though you can clearly hear that it needs suspension work they said it was " because it hasn't been driven in while and that the noise should go away" 2. literally 1 week later my brakes are super spongy and go all the way to the floor.... A fine service experience, but not without a few hiccups. The mechanics did their job quickly and efficiently --- the new wheel bearings run smoothly without the ominous scraping of the old ones. The waiting room is fine, and besides the usual couch-and-daytime-TV area, there's a quiet set of chairs towards the sales side; a much better place to settle in with a laptop or book. The greeting-and-computers end of the service department ("service advisor", maybe?) was a new hire, and took an awkwardly long time to log me in and close out the service at the end; hopefully he speeds up as he gets used to the system. I've been deluged with emails and paper mail since my visit --- a post-visit survey is fine, but I'm less interested in the third and I don't need the XM radio free-month-if-you-sign-up pitch. read more

Nice people but this low volume Nissan store stocks little in the way of replacement parts so every repair turns into at least two visits. And for a commercial vehicle that costs about $1500/hr to take off the road, I can no longer afford them after repeated problems with parts availability that extends back to a previous vehicle as well. On the plus side, the floor is clean in the service greeting area. No vehicle wash after a $1000 tab either. Sat in the sales area 3 hours and was not spoken to by any floor sales people. Service waiters are often buyers, guys. The "UP Bus" doesn't run on Jackson Road. Everyone is a prospect. Phoned in advance of an already scheduled appointment to advise that the vehicle ac was no longer blowing cold & asked them to bring in a compressor for it to avoid another return visit (3rd for this round of issues). Compressor was bad and they did not have one in stock. Ignored my call and request. Phoned another shop to schedule the work for about 2/3's the cost quoted at Fox. read more

Great service! I went in thinking I would get ripped off just like every other dealer auto shop I've been to, but I was pleasantly surprised. Mike, the manager, was super nice. I came in because I had a brake sensor going off even though I had filled the tires up to specification. Mikes technicians found that the sensor might have been a little loose, but they made the fix and charged me nothing. This could have easily been a $200-300 job if they wanted, but they were honest with me and I respect that. They also did not try to sell me additional services. read more

I had a pretty good experience here leasing a Nissan - my salesperson was very knowledgeable and easy to work with, and we were able to hash out most of the details over the phone and email prior to even stepping into the dealership, which I appreciated, given that I have very little time on my hands to spend hours at a dealership. Like most dealerships, they'll rake you over the coals in the finance department, and try to squeeze a little extra out of your payment, but they've got to make a profit like any other business, and I don't begrudge them that as long as they're reasonable when you say no. No, this is not the place for me and my vehicle. I took my car in for a front end alignment. I was waiting in the "lounge" and someone came in and asked me if I had a key for a locked lug nut on my front tire. I don't. They explained that they couldn't take the tire off without the key. Crap. So, they said they would do the alignment without taking that tire off. ??? After I left, I took my car to a tire place to get advice regarding the locked lug nut. They immediately showed me it was a formerly locked, but now simply broken lug nut. The tire place put a new one on in five minutes and charged me $12. I honestly don't think anyone from AAN ever even looked at my car. Never again. read more

Terrible service. Every time I go there, they try to squeeze every penny out of me. I used to go regularly and every time they would insist on replacing my tires. One time my battery died while they were servicing my car, and the staff refused to take any accountability. It was a pretty new battery and there is no explanation for its death other than the service crew running my car without the engine on. They demanded that I pay for a battery change and refused to subsidize it at all, even though it was their fault. Obviously I couldn't take my car since they killed my battery, so my only option was to pay for the service. I haven't gone since and will never go again. Since I've stopped going to the Nissan dealership, I've started going to Bell Tire and Midas, both of which have been very customer-focused. read more

Unprofessional staff. Following purchasing a car from Fox Nissan, I wrote an honest review about the dealership on a survey Nissan emailed to me directly. My review wasn't terrible but wasn't great since my experience had been less than great during the vehicle purchase process. They retaliated against me by being rude, refusing to hold up on part of our purchase agreement, and telling me I cost their dealership money by not giving an excellent review. This came from not only the sales person but also the dealer manager. I would not recommend this dealership under any circumstances. With so many car buying options in Metro Detroit, go elsewhere. I will state up-front that I received a great deal buying a used car through this dealership via eBay. Communication throughout the buying process was very good! This dealership collected over $200 from me (including a $24 electronic filing fee to "expedite") to process the title and registration, yet never processed the registration through the Michigan Secretary of State. It took over 3 weeks for the title to arrive to my home, which is the longest timeframe I have ever experienced for receiving a title from a dealership. I called the dealership without a return phone call. I messaged the dealership via eBay for assistance with no response. I then emailed the Financing Manager (who was the person to processed my papework) with no response. Lastly, I emailed the Sales General Manager with no response. Today, I paid another $167 to have the vehicle registered. Not the level of customer service to be expected when having papework processed, or in the lack of follow up with the customer. read more
