I'm a cancer survivor and because of this, I have limitations with manicures that I typically have to explain over and over (and over) at every nail salon I visit. And I don't mind. I don't expect people to know all the ins and outs of living with cancer. But... Hannah has lots of clients who deal with this already... and I didn't have to repeat a thing. It was INCREDIBLE. The second you walk into her space, it's impossible not to smile. It's colorful, welcoming, and full of happy energy... and then she works her magic! (My nails grow incredibly fast so the 5 week mark is when I have to get them redone to cut them down. Otherwise I swear they would last forever!) When my nail technician completed my manicure, she announced, "same!" as if she declared out-loud my powdered pearlescent nails are now magically transformed into the requested nude chrome color. I wish they would've told me upfront that this cannot be done. I would not request for anything out of the basic mani pedi here.

I went in for a classic pedicure and asked for her to file my nails and change the color, that's it! The technician was nice so I feel bad leaving this review, but the way she removed the gel from my toes was awful! She filed it down, put acetone and let it sit for a bit. Then she proceeded to peel off the old gel and tore the corner of my nail OFF. She then proceeded to say I had thin nails! I've been getting gel pedicures for a while now and NEVER has anyone tore a piece of my nail OFF! As a technician, even if my nail was thin she could of used a machine to remove the gel instead of tearing it off the way she did. I was so upset! She tried to tell me she would add a piece, which I declined so I just told her to cut what she could without leaving my nail too short. I will never return here. Maybe some folks like this method of removal but I did not and will not be returning for a pedicure. I will add the chairs were comfortable and I also got a gel manicure which he added so many layers too! I especially want to highlight Denise, who is incredibly knowledgeable and skilled when it comes to ingrown nail care. Her expertise and attention to detail make such a difference, and I always feel safe and well taken care of. Disappointing customer service!!…read more Here I thought I found a new permanent nail salon, however, that is not the case now! as soon as I walked in i was greeting perfectly fine was told to wait a moment.. totally fine! brought to the chair and greeted with a forced smile by the rudest woman with glasses.. have had rude experience with her in the past, being very snippy! (.i tipped accordingly to her attitude, so she may remember me idgaf!) anyway she asked me a few question and then randomly started yelling at the poor girl in her native tounge clearly talking shit. after several awkward moments later i was told they don't have time for me. why even seat me?!? i just had to get up and walk away. truly is a shame because ara does beautiful work. good bye nailology there are plenty salons with less entitled nail techs.
