Unexpectedly excellent burgers with hand cut fries! Great baklava was another surprise. Will be back when in the area.

Pizza is just okay. Wouldn't go out of my way to go there but it's decent enough if you're in the area.

This version wasn't the usual shaved ribeye. it was thinly sliced, incredibly tender, and seasoned to perfection. The cheese sauce was rich and flavorful. My only critique is the roll, it was super soft, so the juicy meat and cheese made it a little soggy. Still, the flavor more than made up for it, easily a 4 out of 5 on the sandwich alone. The rest of the experience? Absolute 10. They know how to season their food, and the variety of sauces they offer takes things to the next level. My husband tried the beer flight and loved it. We sat outside, and the whole place had such a fun, laid-back energy. We're not from the area, but if we were, this would be a weekly go-to. Highly recommend for foodies, beer lovers, and anyone who appreciates bold flavors and a good time. Service was great and I have nothing it good things to say.

Although tasty it was sweet and needed more chipotle. The highlight was the in-house cut French fries that needed a dash of salt that we added. Ordered an all day shandy that could have been colder. Hubby had a #10 from the beer list and liked it so much he ordered a second. Took home a blueberry cheesecake that hubby said was good but not amazing

Today just exemplified why this is a great restaurant. We ordered off the specials menu; mostly because you may not see something again! Starter was Fried Butternut Squash Ravioli with a maple dipping sauce. Crispy, tender and the butternut filling was not overly seasoned letting the squash shine. We ordered a December Melt (melted Brie, fried ham, apples, chipotle honey mustard on a toasted Baguette. The spicy sauce complimented the warm sandwich fillings. So good, we ordered one to go for football tomorrow. We also ordered Texas Goulash (cavatappi noodles, pulled pork, bacon, peppers, jalapeño and some BBQ sauce). This dish was savory and the meat was tender!! Every bite was a melange of sweet, creamy, salty, crunchy. And to drink, another special menu item , the squall stuck cider. A peach spiced cider cocktail with New Scotland Spirits (SHOUT OUT!) Winter Wheat Whiskey blended with apple cider, pumpkin spice and brown butter. This really complimented both meals. Above all, service and the Christmas decorations, ambiance was,as always, stellar.

I found an appetizer that sounded interesting... potato perogies wrapped in bacon with a balsamic vinegar. They were excellent! There was a hot Italian combo on focaccia bread with red peppers, mozzarella and a few other cold cuts. This was something I suggested that they add to their regular menu, it was so good. Our service was excellent, she made sure everything was perfect. I like this restaurant, it's really secluded and easy to drive by, yet it feels perfect inside.

The place offers a full service deli counter, snacks, cold drinks, coffee and a full service restaurant in the back section with 2 dining areas serving breakfast and lunch. They also offer pizza and wings on Friday and Saturday nights. I stopped by Hillbelly's for lunch recently and took a seat in the back dining area and given a lunch menu which offers hot and cold sandwich plates, soup, fried foods, burger plates, plus kids meals. The prices seem reasonable here. I ordered the Philly Steak Sandwich with Fries ($10.95 plus tax) and an ice water with lemon. The friendly staff offered me a complementary slice of pepperoni pizza since they launched pizza nights on Friday and Saturday. The pizza was decent which has a good sauce pepperoni slices and minimal cheese on a soft and chewy crust. They also were low on fries so they offered me an additional fried side and I went with onion rings. The food arrived very hot and the Philly Steak Sandwich was very big and thick, which had grilled peppers & onions, melted cheese and 2 grilled steak-ums on a thick soft artisan bun. The standard fries were golden and crisp and as were the battered onion rings. I barely finished my lunch. The check was $11.83 with tax and before tip. Overall, this is a good place to stop for food if you happen to be in Westerlo.

This place is in the NY boondocks. It's only open 3 days a week and when I got there at around 6PM on a Saturday, it was pretty busy. Intrusive thought - yeah, makes sense. It's the only game in town. Not quite...because I passed a bar down the road that was also pretty busy. Anyway, there are two columns to the menu: Pizzas and Not Pizzas. I got a mix of both to go- Roni pizza, prosciutto+apples+cheddar, and mixed-up olives. The charcuterie stuff was saved for later. The pizza...just look at that thing. It's a thing of beauty...leopard spots, thinly sliced "oversized" pepperoni, a thinner, piquant tomato sauce, melty provolone cheese, and it even has some sesame seeds on top (an ode to Italian bread). Let me put it this way, I live about 5 minutes away from a pizza place that perpetually wins "best pizza" in the Capital District. It's no contest. Be Golden Farm's isn't the only game in town. Their pizza is hands down, the winner, anywhere in the Capital District. It's a drive for most in the region but it's well worth it.
